I only went through the drive through so I can't comment on cleanliness of the inside. The service in the drive thru was very friendly and helpful, as I did ask for them to name what type of donuts they had. They had nothing specialty flavors, just basic donut flavors you can find anywhere. They're donuts taste super artificial & the dough doesn't have that yeasty bounce to it. Very dull & boring donuts in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend this place for your office donuts. Maybe only the sugary coffees that everyone raves about. read more

What happened to customer service? It was great when it opened and I never had to double check my order. I went through the drive through and accidentally opened the box of donuts with my purse and noticed I had 3 Bavarian instead of 3 blueberry. The girl at the drive through gave me attitude. When we went to go get some coffee and we ordered 2 iced coffees and 2 hot coffees. Instead of doing this they made all four of them iced and we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get them done. The workers were really nice but just not trained enough but the coffees did taste really good after all. read more

I would call myself a 'regular' at this specific dunkin location. I would frequent the inside of the store before lockdown, now I am using the drive thru at least twice a week before work. Over the last couple months I have had exceptional customer service every-time. The employees are cheerful & working quickly. My orders come out fast & are always correct. I come here often, this spot is barely new to the neighborhood and I have to give credit to these kids.. They hustle and try their best to get you in and out with courtesy and a smile.. Clean your dam bathroom! The place was completely empty at 3PM. My husband and I go inside to order instead of the drive through so I could use the restroom. Piss on the floor and toilet seats and sinked is stopped up full of dirty water. I took a look and said hell no I won't even step inside that. Finally went here today for the first time. The I got 3 donuts. I ate 2 of them only since they cost 1.25 each so I didn't feel like I wasted my money. They are smaller than the average donut too and are the worst donuts I have ever had. Won't be going back. 7-11 donuts are good and amazing compared to these. I've chosen to wait on reviewing Dunkin Donuts given its recent opening. I've frequented this Dunkin Donuts almost every day since it's opening. My experience and review are based on drive-thru interactions. We'll start with the food and drinks - Food - It's okay at best. Their waffle chicken tenders are good although 9 times out of 10 they're burnt. The donuts, well whatever they have in stock are passable, although the last few times I've gotten their glazed chocolate donuts, they felt and tasted under-fried, donut fell apart in hand. (These issues are honestly very easy to resolve with a bit of training ) However, the first impression is always the lasting impression of a newly opened business. And my first impression wasn't a good one and still isn't either. Their drinks are good, but nothing to really write home about. Most complain that some flavors are out, this is obvious given constant rush hour since opening. Can't knock them for that. Staff - Drive-Thru only The staff seems lost at times, not knowing whos really doing what. During my trips 100% of the time they would forget one or two things from my order. And then attempt to charge for the already charged item. The staff is friendly, but from my perspective, there are just too many people doing singled out jobs. "Cashier" - "Drink Maker" (forgive my ignorance for the term) - "Item Bagger" - "Donut put in the box person" The more hands you have in a pot isn't efficient, and thus causing the wait times. The waits would lessen, the mistakes would be a lot more minimal if fewer people were included, this would help with efficiency. Just my 2 cents. read more

I was sad to find out that this franchise was out of a majority of their donuts by 3 pm. today. They were out of the chocolate glazed, lemon filled, and only had ONE regular glazed. We drove through the drive through and when we got up to the window to get our order Abdullah noticed our two greyhounds in the back sticking their heads out the window to say hi! I've visited this location numerous times since it's opened and can say I'm pleasantly surprised. Each visit here has gotten better and better. I usually walk inside so I can use my reusable cup, which they have no problem doing. I'm not a huge donut fan, but their coffee is fantastic. When I need a pick me up I can count on a tasty iced latte. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating as I usually have a difficult order...on purpose. There's always a smile and friendly greeting and I enter and leave. Dunkin has become my once a week treat. Hopefully they can continue to improve. read more

It's always been our family tradition to get green frosted donuts for St. Patrick's Day. I've never known any Dunkin' to not have donuts decorated for the current holiday. St. Patrick's Day and not a green donut in the place. The young man working was as helpful as he could be and was very nice. They don't make them on-site, so this was beyond his control. I could always rely on holiday/occasion donuts from Dunkin', but I guess I'm too used to Dunkin' in New England. I was able to get my green frosted donuts for my kids at 7-11. The latte and donut I got tasted okay BUT this location is still getting one star, zero if I could only bc I got food poisoning from my order. Let me just say, this was THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I LOVE DD donuts and coffee. I waited in line for literally almost 30 minutes for just a coffee. So I drove off and called the store to let their manager know what kind of workers they have there. The person that answered, said they were in charge since the manager wasn't "in"; she did not tell me her name, she was not acknowledging the fact that they had a customer who had a complaint and felt not welcomed, she did not even ask what she can do to make me come back again to this particular location. 1. I've been here twice & both times I was not only unimpressed but also annoyed. The first time I came right before they opened and noticed people walking in about five minutes prior to the opening time. I was in a hurry and curious as to what was going on. Maybe they open earlier then what was posted online? I walk in and two employees look at me like I'm crazy and then ask me to go outside because they "don't open for three more minutes". Just for the future DD should probably keep the doors locked until opened to customers but whatever. When I waited my three minutes I walked in again and was now the second person in line. I guess someone beat me by probably waiting at the door instead of going back to their car. I ordered the giant pack of Munchkins and I could see the irritation of the counter staff's face having to count that many so early in the morning. On my second trip I was craving a donut (okay, really several donuts) so I enter their drive thru around 8:30pm. I ask for glazed and am told they are out of glaze. Really?!? Ok, chocolate frosted then. Nope, out of that too. Finally I just asked, "What do you have ready?" and my choices were like five flavors. The friendly drive thru employee told me if I wanted to wait 20 minutes they would have glazed donuts ready. Yeah, not happening. I'm not coming back here for a long time. However, I feel like this location might be too humid inside because the glazed type donuts I have purchased have not been as glazed as they should. I grew up with Dunkin' Donuts in New York so I was glad when they finally moved to the west coast. Been here three times so far because it's near my place in El Cajon so it's convenient. Donuts are great as always, especially my favorites, the donut holes. The only thing I do not understand is why we cannot order donuts holes along with the regular donuts. I get the impression that they have to be ordered separately. Can someone tell me what the deal is with that? Or am I just misunderstanding it? Either way, this place is awesome. They CLEARLY have never been to the sh-t dump of a Dunkin in National city if they think this place is bad. This is a total gem in comparison.
