This Dunkin' just got a makeover! The entire inside got a facelift and it looks great. I hadn't been in quite some time, so I decided to place an order for pick up and try a new menu item, the dunkalatte. I think I've discovered my new favorite coffee from Dunkin'! It's espresso with coffee milk, which is whole milk blended with espresso syrup (from what I understand) -- it's so yummy, creamy, and sweet, but not overly sweet! I've tried it both hot and iced now and both ways are great. We also tried the brownie batter heart donut for valentine's day which was so yummy but definitely a once in a blue moon treat because it's very indulgent. In 2020 I picked up a habit for coffee. Never cared for it way before then (I am 30+), I have always chosen simple black coffee. I have been a fan of Dunkin for years, almost a decade. Small black coffee. Today I ordered a small black coffee and decided to have a splash of creamer. I have since been attached to the toilet and taken two showers because I feel gross and hoping the warm water hitting my stomach would calm it down. It has been almost hours now and I am still having diarrhea. This is the best Dunkin location I've been to. Felt the need to do this because every other Dunkin I go to is trash compared to this one. This location is always consistent and deals with morning rushes better than others. It's usually the same workers which really helps with that. The workers are usually always nice and get the online orders through quickly. They've never messed up my coffee order but I've seen others go up and complain about theirs once or twice, and the workers always listen and redo it. Highly recommend this one. read more

This review is for the service. While technically I would be considered a customer because I purchase items there, it is never for me. Usually when I am up that way, I am taking someone in there who is down on their luck. I never have cash on me, but I am always willing to buy someone a meal if they want to eat. This location is quick and fast. But more importantly, they don't treat the folks that I am treating like second class citizens. I usually let the person order what they want, pay and tell the cashier to give them their order. No fuss, no muss. This location has a parking lot and a designated spot for the store. read more

I ordered through the app and was looking forward to my coffee, croissant and snackin' bacon. I'm glad that I checked bag, because the order was completely wrong, even though the tag on the order was clear. I forgot check the coffee, I went back to work to enjoy and there was no sugar in the coffee whatsoever. I was disappointed because, I didn't have any random sugar laying around at work and I couldn't enjoy my complete order. I will give this location another chance, because everyone makes mistakes. This place is inside a plaza, which this plaza is located on the corner of Broadway and Wilson. With 3 tables of 2 seats each, this DD is definitely not a place to loiter after finishing coffee and food. The place is drafty because of the customers coming in and out even with the heat on. There's plenty of customers purchasing and commuting to school or work. Prime location since it's less than a block away from Wilson CTA red line and Truman college. Also there's a small parking lot. Typical coffee and food served at this establishment, service was fast and my coffee just the way I like it: 4 sugars and 4 cream. Toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. read more

Where is the management here? I have been going to this location for over 10 years and suddenly the service of staff has gone downhill. The management that was here several months prior was great, we always saw her. Who ever is managing the store now I would assume is no one. I do not go as frequently as I did before but when I do go: they do not pay attention when you are ordering. They are busy having personal conversations with each other. They complain about the property owner/manager in-front of customers. They have none working staff members, out or uniform behind the counter or loitering in the small dining area. I normally do not complain but it appears that the presence of management is needed more often then not here. Too be perfectly honest I assumed, prior to now that this was a privately owned Dunkin' Donuts because the prior manager was always seen. I mean when you have someone vested in the company like that you keep customers. Do us a favor please. If the prior manager was promoted or asked for a transfer, she deserved it because she was awesome. But if you moved her just for the sake of moving her, please bring her back(again unless she likes where she is). Her customer service is missed and I used to go in everyday, sometimes twice a day but now I hate going in. Love my Dunkin' Donuts so I guess I will have to drive out of my way to find one that is managed like the management teams of old. Thank you for giving me my time to vent. read more

I like this location. Super fast,they always get my order right. This Dunkin is tiny, and I mean super small.3 small tables .I had to laugh when I read a review by Kate G. mention how big it is inside. Thought she was being sarcastic. Than I read it till the end, she also mentioned a drive thru /this location doesn't have one/. I realized she obviously ment a different location. They also have a parking lot ,which is great as Uptown is not the easiest neighborhood to find street parking in. read more

Based on the previous review, I have to wonder if we are talking about the same establishment (the address on my receipt says we are). I will not be going back to this Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins, period. I go in, toddler on hip, and order a child scoop. The gal behind the counter repeats this to me and asks if I want two spoons, I confirm, she grabs the large cup and starts scooping away. Mid-scoop, I say that its too much, I only want a child-size scoop, and she continues to add another full scoop. She then rings me up ($3.28) and cannot understand why I'm not handing my money over to her. And by now, the kid is squawking because she wants her ice cream. After we got that resolved, we had to go somewhere else to eat it because the two or three tables inside have been taken over by a large group of men who appear to be just hanging out, not actively consuming ice cream or donuts. I go here every time I have an ice latte craving. Anyway here are the pros and cons Pros: Close to my school (I go to Truman) so I can conveniently grab a latte before class or on break. Pretty quick service Cons: Kind of expensive compared to the dd by my house on the south side.. I'm guessing the closer to the north side or downtown the more expensive. Although in some areas I've seen worse. I run the risk of having the ice latte taste too sweet or too bitter if the manager doesn't make it. Sometimes they eff up my order but its no big deal. This was one of those experiences where someone's attitude kills part of your day. I went in there with a friend to get a coffee and a few more things, when instantly I saw and felt attitude as I approached the cashier. She rolled her eyes as we walked up to her, didn't think much of it maybe a bad day you know? But as my friend started to order, she kept cutting him off saying "ok that's it?" Also never asked if we wanted any flavor or mod to it. The whole time I was ordering she was constantly giving sighs and rolling eyes as if we were making her overwork. Mind you the place closes at 6, I walked in at 5. Filled the cup completely with ice, I had to ask her to take some out. (There's literally an Ice line inside the cup) constantly slamming and throwing stuff around as she was making the food. She put the lid on one of the drinks so hard it broke and splashed everywhere so she had to make another on. Ruined the experience, no even a busy day, my friend and me will take a longer drive from now on to get our coffee elsewhere. No need to go thru that again especially with a friend it's embarrassing. This is an absolutely excellent Dunkin Donuts. It is really new and they are super efficient with the drive thru (so important on the way to work). The staff is polite and friendly. The inside of the place is very large and clean....which does not always happen at Dunkin Donuts. Today, I was buying some ground coffee and when I asked whether they would be doing the 2 for $11.99 deal again soon, she said it was over but she would still give me the deal. I've never had a problem with the coffee I've been served or the service. My main gripe with this place is that they only take cash and it's so cramped with two tables in it. I can't sit down and relax to drink my coffee or eat without feeling rushed or having someone brushing past me. Bums also like to hang out in front of this store. Great location and fairly good service for a quick stop to get that early morning pick-me-up! My coffee is always good, but some times they forget the cream cheese on my bagel. Welp, I'm done. I've been giving this Dunkin' my business because it's the closest to my house and I'm a frugal coffee-drinker, but I won't go to this Dunkin' ever again. A woman named, I think, Lalisa cannot make a coffee to save her life. I dread seeing her make my coffee. Although she *has* gotten it correct a few times, she mostly does not. And I don't drink anything fancy! We're talking sugar, almond milk, and a shot of flavor. She asks questions no one else there asks me: How many shots of espresso? I don't want espresso, I want a caramel shot. (That's how it's listed on their own menu!) How many shots? How many shots come in a Large? Four. Then, four shots. But even after all that, she goes on to make my coffee using the "Swirl" flavoring, which I don't need since I prefer almond milk and sugar. Plus, she just took my order. And, isn't it written on my receipt? Why doesn't she reference that? Today was the worst. It was busy there, but you know what? It's not okay that my coffee isn't made correctly. And it's not for me to determine where it went wrong behind the counter. After three "corrections" had been made to my drink, I left Dunkin', but I couldn't stand the flavor of the coffee. I went back and asked the woman who *always* makes my drink correctly to remake it for me. And for the first time ever, *she* gave me a terrible-tasting drink. I wasted some money today and couldn't drink my coffee. From now on, I will walk out of my way and give my business to another Dunkin' Donuts in my neighborhood. read more
