Updating some previous reviews only to say that the staff at this Dunkins is amazing. Still some minor issues with the quality of the bagels but the staff is always on point and gets the orders right. They get the orders ready faster than any Dunkins I've been to and I go to a lot. lol. The manager should be given a raise and do whatever you can to keep the staff. read more

Dunkin' - Sausage Egg & Cheese on stale plain bagel - Donuts Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Been an occasional customer here for many years and now have to report that the donuts (or at least the munchkins) are terrible. I stopped in today and ordered 50 assorted. First, their selection was limited to blueberry, chocolate, crunchy chocolate and glazed. No more powdered, cinnamon, etc. First of all, that alone would probably keep me from bothering to return. Secondly, and more importantly, the munchkins they are selling now are terrible. Without exception all munchkins were only very lightly glazed and were missing glaze over much of their surface. At the best they were missing glaze over about 1/3 of their surface. At the worst, some barely had any glaze at all. They were all quite a bit heavier than normal. Or perhaps I should say "denser" than normal. In fact, they were essentially stall balls of dry dough. There was nothing tasty or desirable about any of them. After sampling a couple of each, we decided we had more than had enough and the rest are going in the trash or, perhaps back to the store (though it is hardly worth returning them). One might think that the owners have tried to cut back on costs and are now making a vastly inferior product. Unfortunately, what they do not realize is that donuts are essentially a luxury item and cutting corners on the product is a sure way to curtail demand. I suspect that they are placing more emphasis on their drink products. Either way, their donuts are no longer worth purchasing. read more

Terrible customer service. The new young men are super rude. They act like they barely want to serve customers. It's truly unfortunate.

Yes, please for coffee. No donut today. I was feeling like a caffeine boost would help and my coffee this morning did exactly that. Breakfast sandwiches, melty things with cheese and bacon or ham or sausage. Donuts. Bagels. Muffins. Yep, it's a Dunkies. Service could have been quicker but the coffee was good and hot. This location does not have a drive through. [Review 16682 overall - 3188 in North Carolina - 194 of 2022.] read more

I agree with all bad reviews on here..didn't see them on time, and it was too late. Stopped in today as I really wanted ice cream. Its a combo store with a Dunkin' Donuts and a Baskin-Robbins. The place looks completely dilapidated, and they put some sort of sheet over the ice creams they didn't have. Looked really ghetto. Freezer burn around ice cream bins and place was not clean. Staff all young teenagers. Should've not bought something and listened to my gut feeling. Got a cone with one scoop, and I am now home sick to my stomach. I am gonna call the Health Authorities tomorrow. This place needs to be shut down! Completely unhygienic and mismanaged. Plus expensive. Almost 4 bucks for one scoop. read more

Hello, I just returned home from ordering breakfast at the Dunkin' Donuts location off of 16131 Lancaster Highway in Charlotte. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. All 3 sandwiches had half of an egg. 2 of the sandwiches had half a piece of turkey sausage. They apparently cut the turkey sausage in half to make 2 sandwiches! We were extremely shocked and disappointed when we got home to eat breakfast. Is this new? We have never had half ingredients from a breakfast sandwich at any Dunkin' Donuts locations. This location is apparently cutting corners and saving themselves money by giving half meat and eggs for sandwiches. Terrible...We tried to call the location but the phone keeps ringing and going to a fax machine. Sent an email as well. WOW! Will not go back to this location. And the food was not good. Bad experience. read more

Food was so terrible. Got snackin bacon and avocado toast. The snackin bacon was missing the seasoning/ glaze so it was just regular burnt bacon. The avocado toast had barely any bagel seasonings and wasn't toasted at all. Service was good though and the establishment was clean. read more

So should have walked away when I walked in and saw the girl behind the counter shoving donuts into her mouth and then start singing to the music with her mouth full of donut. When she mucked it down I was impressed with the foul language that spewed forth. Won't take the app. Won't take my cash. Left and went to a competitor who didn't swear, left the food for the customers and took my cash. Nicely played dunkin! read more

Arrived at 5:45 am on Valentines Day morning to buy donuts for the teachers at my son's school. I asked for 3 dozen donuts, the girl behind the counter replied "no, the limit today is 2 dozen" and pointed to a ripped piece of paper taped to the register with scribbled writing that stated that. I then asked her if she could give me 2 dozen donuts and and 2 large boxes of munchkins - and she told me she would LET ME BUY DONUTS only if I didn't buy a dozen of all the same (variety only!) Absolutely ridiculous and poor customer service. Drove down to Krispie Kreme and they gladly served me 3 dozen adorable valentines donuts. Don't waste your time at this store. read more

I recommend this Buisness when it comes to the Guys making my coffee & one of the evening shift Girls. My coffee is not that difficult to make.In the past I worked at Dunkin Donuts for 3 years and a different Dunkin for another yr. My Mom as a Manager ran a Dunkin Donuts for 10 years. When you are there to do your job and satisfy your customers, your shift goes by fast and your customers are happy. Happy customers, more Buisness, more money coming in. More recognition, trust, the Businesses Reputation and your own reputation with customers.Attitude goes a LONG way. Not to mention, One day that person you don't give a dam about that your serving, just might be the only one there to serve or assist or take care of you. Anyways, The Manager is a Nice guy who is always there making sure things are running smoothly. He's takes care of customers with a kind attitude and he's always looking around to make sure shit is done or looking to see what needs to be done next. He seems to be a pretty dam good manager and if it's morning shift, I am usually praying he's the one to make my coffee when I walk in! There's a few on evening shift that are Awesome . I wanna say their names are MJ & Adam. They are always keeping busy when I walk in and if customers are taken care of they're ready to strike up a conversation if you're feeling up to it! They will have you laughing! They are very sweet. They keep the place clean and customers are their first priority. They certainly know what team work is and not once have they messed up my coffee! They repeat my order back to me to make sure they got it right always! That's customer service that businesses need more of! Like I said ATTITUDE goes a long way. Not sure why some of them would even have such a nasty attitude anyways. Just have a dam coffee, ya work at Dunkin Donuts. I thought that America Runs on Dunkin?!... read more

Very disappointed in the half dozen i received. The donuts were all old and dry. I can't believe a worker would give me 6 dry old donuts. I usually go here often and have no issues. But i see now why the overall reviews are negative. Early in the morning i should not be getting dry donuts. Maybe this location should just close entirely. I will not go back to this location or the one on Pineville Matthews road. They both should honestly close. read more

As the effects of Hurricane Florence began to fade from the Charlotte area, the Dunkin Donuts stores in Ballantyne and Tega Cay partnered with Bank of America on its 9/11 National Day of Service initiative. The National Day of Service was established to honor the victims and heroes of 9/11 and to rekindle the spirit of unity and compassion that followed the attacks. Over the past days, first responders have been busy helping the community deal with the flooding and wind damage dealt by Florence. On Tuesday, store owner David Knight and store manager Christina Evans wanted to honor those involved in keeping our communities safe and provided donuts for the police station in Ballantyne and to two fire departments in Tega Cay. "If felt great to participate in this wonderful event honoring our first responders," Knight said. "This also felt so timely after the impacts of Florence, first responders, we salute you!" This furthers the commitment Knight and Evans established for their two Dunkin Donuts' franchises in giving back to the Ballantyne and Tega Cay communities. read more

I visited this store several times in the last few weeks and I can see why their rating is so low. The people there are extremely unfriendly and they seem like they have personality problems. And like they are MAGA folks. The last time I was there, I bought a cup of coffee. The young woman who prepared it barely took time from scrolling on her phone to make it. I paid almost $3.00 (I thought they were supposed to be a lot cheaper than Starbucks but they are not.). Anyway I got home and poured my own creamer in and with the first few drops of creamer, the coffee went almost white. I then tasted it and it tasted like water. I called the store and asked if the water dispenser is close to the coffee one and was told it was. Turns out the woman made half of my coffee with water and the other half with actual coffee. I should have followed my gut. BTW their donuts are tasteless and incredibly dense. Not a pleasant experience. read more

I'm so sad about having to post a review regarding the service at this Dunkin Donuts/ Baskin Robbins. I ordered three to-go breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Below is what they looked liked when I reached my destination. Question to DD/BR: "When did you start giving 1/2 an egg and sausage, to your customers when they pay for a whole sandwich." As a North Carolina order as of yesterday at 5pm, it is required for all employees and guests to have a mask on. However when I arrived today the young gentleman who took my order didn't have one on, nor did he seem excited to be at work, the younger lady had her mask well below her nose while being preoccupied on her cell phone and the other young gentleman was the only one with a mask positioned correctly. This was my 3rd visit to this location and each time I never see all employees with masks. read more

Worst place. I went there on Valentine's Day ordering a ice coffee. I did not have my credit card or any other cash except a $20. My coffee was around $3, and the lady literally told me she can not serve me because there's no change for a $20. How do you run a fast food company and not have change?? And the old woman who told me no literally said she couldn't serve me. I proceed to ask if I could by more but then she refused. I was very disrespected and late for class. Not going back. read more

We've been here several times, every time enjoying just as much as the last. It's the typical chain location as always tasting like most others. We typically grab ice cream (Baskin-Robbins) and coffee (Dunkin Donuts) and sit outside in their outside/Lancaster highway/parking lot accessible seating area. If you're looking for a quite spot for ice cream, this might not be the place; however, it's clean, and I've never seen the place busy. If you have young children, be careful if you sit outside. It can be quite fun trying to catch them before the reach a busy road when running from you :) read more

This location has moved across the street into Hunter Crossings! Their address is incorrect and unfortunately I was traveling so I hope a local can update it! Their new spot was nice, large, and had some flat screens with the news on. Pretty standard for a Dunkin Donuts. I was bummed my munchkins weren't fresh tasting at 8:30 AM in the morning. Wifi was SLOWWWWWWW. And wow, the location is really buried in the middle of a very long strip mall, which makes it somewhat of a PITA to get to. read more

Ok, I must say although my order is barely right at times. Two times in one week and three times the next week. BUT I still continue to stop by usually every morning or every other morning. I love my Bavarian Cream Donut BUT sometimes I will get something else in my bag than what I order and I have to call and let them know. But I guess because I frequently visit there, they know my face which is really great!, Ben the Manager is awesome and goes to every measure to make sure my order is correct or remake my order. One morning he chance me down as I was leaving the parking lot because my croissant was wrong. and I can't forget about Tyler, I look forward to hearing him speak to me through drive thru. The quality of service at this location is beyond disappointing. This is my first ever review as I am not a person who complains about food and I am feeling reluctant as I write this but I have to do so. There has not been one occasion where an order was made correctly without asking as politely as I could to have it fixed and getting an attitude in return. I payed for a meal for 4 people two times in a row back to back because I just assumed someone had a bad day and the second order came messed up as well. It looked like the sandwiches were thrown on the floor. The drinks were all mismatched sizes, flavors and plain old just not even close to the order. The safety stickers for COVID are never used. This was just one of many occasions I was dumb enough to give this place a chance. Drive farther, it will be worth it. I've never experienced this lack of customer service anywhere before. read more

Stay clear of this place. Poorly managed and would never go back. I stopped in with my family for ice cream and as we walked over to the ice cream section on the left I noticed 4 teens in the corner loitering. So while waiting on our ice cream I heard an what seemed to be an employee with a Dunkin hat on drop the f-bomb twice very loud, observed the blue haired young lady vaping and then her kissing all over her boyfriend as if no one else is in the store. No wonder this place was empty. This is nothing more then a management issue. As a business owner myself I would never let this go on in my place of business. read more

Large variety of donuts/cakes and staff are very friendly and kind!! Had a delicious m & m donut this morning!

We have been visiting this location for over a year and most days our service/food is great unless the blonde woman is working. In a previous incident, someone took my to-go order and when I waited several minutes and didn't see it coming, I brought it up to the staff. They didn't see it either and blonde woman was extremely rude and made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. She was also extremely rude to the young men working. I normally do to-go orders so I can just grab and go but the last few orders have been wrong due to the staffs error which I normally get home and realize. I have never complained or brought it up as I realize mistakes happen and we just eat it. (ie I received 2 egg and cheese croissants which I have never ordered and I normally get 2 orders of the roll ups and received 1 order of the wake up wraps just as an example and you would be able to confirm via my app purchases). This morning I ordered the usual, went in and grabbed my to-go order. Once I got to my car, I decided to check my bag just to make sure everything was correct. In this case, my turkey sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches were missing the turkey so I went back in. When I mentioned that I believe they forgot my turkey sausage on my sandwich to the staff, the blonde women threw her hands on her hips, looked at the screen above her and barked back "no, you ordered the egg and cheese". I then checked my app and realized I did indeed order the wrong thing. So then I asked if I could just pay to have the turkey added and she again with a terrible attitude barked back and said "no, you have to pay for another sandwich". The young gentleman then made a suggestion of ordering just the turkey on the register and she said it wasn't possible. I understand sometimes things cannot be done but with an attitude like that, it just makes it seem like she was not willing to help at all. I then proceeded to order 2 more sandwiches on my app, this time being the correct ones. While I waited, a young lady had apologized for not being able to order just the turkey which I appreciated and understood. The blonde women was working the ovens and threw together my sandwiches super fast and dropped them on the counter. I told her to have a great day and she didn't respond at all and just went back to her spot. Needless to say, since the sandwiches were thrown together so fast just to get me out of there, they were stone cold by the time I got home. The egg and cheese sandwiches that were ordered first by mistake, were still warm so it goes to show that she did not put the time it takes to prepare them in. Because of the continued terrible attitude of the blonde woman, I will not be returning to this location. read more
