Ok, finally made it back here, and it's fantastic! The menu has grown substantially, and service is much better. They have added tables, so more seating inside. They were incredibly busy the day we went, but service was smooth. It does take a bit to get your oder, but since everything is made when you order, this is expected. My wife and I like boutique coffee joints, but we have had issues finding one in Union County we like until now! Coffee: This is about the coffee for us and it's really good! It's smooth and tasty. I don't usually like my coffee bitter, so the white mocha is perfect for me. They can make it extra sweet but it was a bit too sweet. Chai: Any time my wife talks about chai, she is comparing it to her favorite chai from college. She compared it to that chai! I even liked it and I don't like chai! Food: My wife I have tried the breakfast sandwiches only, and they were pretty good. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on sourdough. She had a turkey, egg, and cheese on GLUTEN FREE BREAD! I don't know if they use separate grills, so there might be cross contamination, but my wife had no issues with it. Atmosphere: The location in a restored gas station is genius! The soft chairs right in the entrance are perfect and there is outside seating when the weather is good. This place is popular, so do be prepared for a possible long wait if you go in during peak hours Staff: They are fairly friendly. They normally have a smile, repeat your order back to you, get your order to you quickly, and check on you if things are taking too long. They consistently stay open and make quality drinks and food. First time here and I'm in love! Service was warm and friendly, loved the vibe inside, and much more seating than I thought! They offer fresh pastries and baked goods, their breads are from a local bakery and they also have gluten free bread and waffles! Oscar and his wife set up shop in April 2023 inside the restored Sinclair Gas Station to offer coffee shipped from the mountains of Columbia to our small town. And I like it. They make an exceptional cortado, too--just ask for it. And not just coffee. Hand-scooped ice cream, fresh pastries, and even a couple waffle irons to round out the day beside the paninis. Mmmm. Been here more than once and love the look of this place outside and inside. It can be a great hangout spot and they have great parking lot space as well. Their waffles are such nice treats that I always order when I go here. I've tried their tiramisu from the dessert display and to me it seemed overpriced for the amount that I got. I once had come on a day they were celebrating their anniversary and were giving customers free cake slices which was nice and sometimes a food truck can be found outside which I think is such a good way for a business to support other businesses! read more

The food and coffee here is always first rate. First of all, the coffee is ground fresh in Columbia and shipped within a day or two. They do lattes, pour overs, Chemex, French press and more. There is also a delicious lunch sandwich menu. My waffle was quite good. Service is very polite and our order was brought out to us without much of a wait. From the sandwiches to the amazing waffles with signature selections and build your way options and to finish it off great milkshakes. This place is repurposed from a gas station and retains its front street curb appeal. The staff here are extremely friendly and always attentive to their customers in making sure that they are providing the best quality food and service possible. It's family owned and they are a breath of fresh air when you are looking for something other than a corporate food option. We couldn't wait to try this place. We finally did. The coffee was delicious but, the breakfast sandwich wasn't. They use frozen egg patties and that was a big no for me! My husband waited over 20 mins for his sandwich and it wasn't that busy. I had the apple turnover. It tasted stale and barely had any apple in it. We will most likely not be back. This is my new favorite spot! I came here with both of my kiddos and they loved the chocolate sprinkled doughnuts. One of my kiddos got a chocolate milkshake and it was delicious and very chocolatey. My other kiddo got a cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles and it was also very yummy. For myself I got a iced caramel latte and turkey, provolone, and swiss sandwich and it was yummy! It came with a little side salad and I ate it up the sauce on the salad was so good. The customer service here was excellent! The staff was very kind and attentive to the customers. They did rounds to make sure customers were okay with their meals and had napkins. The ambiance was very welcoming and chill. I rate this place a 11/10! I will definitely be back. I came here early in the morning it definitely was not super busy. So the whole "it's busy" thing can sit down. I sat here for close to 15-20min for a coffee. A regular normal latte nothing fancy. The lady making the coffees and as more concerned chatting about the customers who left because they got sick of waiting. I paid 5.25 for half the size of coffee I would pay at another place like Alice and Jules. I do not think I'll come back. It just gave off weird vibes. Me and my husband got a cappuccino and a cold brew which were both great and the Nutella waffle was exceptionally delicious and aesthetically pleasing to the eye! Me and my husband talked to Oscar the owner and he made us aware that they work very close with the farmers for the coffee in Colombia; which is downright awesome ! We took home some coffee beans and Oscar even sent us home with a small sample of the honey coffee beans they have! Overall pleased with the experience and will definitely be back again! The owners are horrible towards their staff and the customers. they were constantly getting onto the staff over everything, and very rude towards customers as they were at the register trying to order. the coffee is okay, and the food is decent. isn't worth the price you spend. the staff if very nice, and did their job well. could've used a more encouraging manager. As I sat there trying to enjoy my meal, I couldn't help but feel disappointed and disheartened. It was clear that the owners didn't care about their customers' experiences or the quality of their food. It was all about making money and treating their staff poorly in the process. In the end, I would not recommend this cafe to anyone. If you want to have a pleasant dining experience with good food, look elsewhere. This place is a complete waste of time and money.
