Beautiful place, gorgeously decorated! Today went with my best friend and her family and had a great time. The service was quick and staff were kind!!! The drinks menu is not overwhelming, so it's pretty easy to find what you want, they have matcha!!! Today we tried the Dot Cake latte which was iced and had sprinkles. It was delish! Also bought my son a dot cake cup and he was enjoying it! There's a bottom floor obviously, a patio, and a second level. The bathrooms are both clean and spacious, there is even a changing table with diapers in the family restroom, which is a huge bonus. Everything is decorated very aesthetically pleasing, lots of pinks, greens, and white washed walls. They definitely thought out the decor very well. Sorella is a very cute little coffee shop. I definitely enjoy coming here for the vibes and it is certainly wheelchair accessible but not the easiest to get into for wheelchair users considering the incline leading up to the door. The few times I have been here, the customer service was not excellent. The employees taking my order usually are not the friendliest. The service is quick and the coffee is good, but not my favorite compared to some other gems in Monroe, NC. I have gotten some of their seasonal drinks and a chai tea latte. They do always have a nice variety of fun, seasonal drinks! The chai tea latte is probably my least favorite out of all the chai latte spots in Monroe. It's a little watered down. However, the building is super cute and has a good amount of seating to have a coffee date or even study with some friends/alone. read more

First time visit although I've walked by several times. Tastefully decorated, airy, and bright. Somewhat disappointed at the few offerings for food--only about a half dozen of pastries. No sammie's or other things that pair well with coffee. The coffee cake, however, was excellent as was my cortada. Service was prompt and friendly by the girl at the register, but the non-smiling guy should stay in the kitchen. I tipped at the register and was surprised I had to walk up to the counter to retrieve my drink and food. They weren't busy and I was only 5 steps away. Trendy coffee spot. Stopped in for some coffee and we were greeted and taken care of immediately. Ordered two regular cappuccino and it was delicious. Nice and strong and beautiful design with the foam. They offer free wifi, water and have restrooms towards the back of the shop. Plenty of seating options to choose from. Around 9:30am it did get super busy and there was a line already. They open at 7am and located right in the heart of Downtown Monroe. I think Sorella was overall pretty good. I traveled their from the Charlotte to Monroe. While I think the coffee is good, I might not make a special trip just to try it again. The aesthetic of the shop is extremely cute and the space is large for friend gatherings or to work. I had the seasonal strawberry latte. Finally made it to this new coffee shop in Monroe. Super bright and open inside with lots of seating. They have a loft area as well that has even more seating. This place is very cute and the lattes are good (and adorable)! However, the staff is far from friendly. I've been in several times now and most of the staff is either bare minimum emotion or they literally just stare at you when you walk up. No "hi what can I get you" or anything. They do seem to be nicer to their "regulars" but not to people they don't know. And if there are more than a few people in there, they are so slow! I definitely wish the staff was nicer. read more

I have been to Sorella Coffee a few times now. Honestly, the first time was weird. My mom & I weren't greeted for at least 3 minutes so it felt super awkward coming up to the front to order. Once we got over the awkwardness & ordered, the service was felt like it took a 180 & everyone was super nice & ready to help the drinks were even better! They recently added a Matcha Fruitloops drink & it been my go-to (just no cereal on top bc i'm gf) They have a whole upstairs seating area, but it's sometimes rented out, & a whole area downstairs. They have been switching some stuff up, but let's be honest. They NEED more couches. They have 2 in one of the corners & it's like a prized possession to land them. The rest of the tables aren't big enough to have more than one notebook out & chairs are cute but not too comfy. The whole aesthetic is super nice & comfy. The big windows, hence the natural lighting, definitely pulls the whole place together. Was in Charlotte for a couple days and had to come here multiple times I'm a basic coffee person and I absolutely enjoyed the cappuccinos. Super cute coffee place! They don't really have a big menu so don't go in thinking it is going to be like Starbucks. Honestly they don't need a big menu, they have everything most people want, homemade flavors and any style coffee you want! It's also reasonably priced for what you get.
