Decided to stop in again because I had such a positive experience the first time. And today was just the same as 10 years ago. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly employee. She seemed appreciative of me being there, smiled at me, etc. I hate it when I walk into some businesses and it seems like you're bothering them. If I lived on this side of town, I would probably be in here every day. It's spacious, clean, there are plenty of places to set up your laptop and work. I love that they have a bar around the coffee station so you can pull up a chair, open up your laptop and work. OAN the coffee is pretty good too. Lol. I ordered the white mocha and I also had a chicken salad croissant. Same thing I ordered the last time I believe. Still just as delicious. I also love how - who I presume to be the owner - calls out the names of people when they enter. Clearly, there are a lot of regulars here. And she greets them all by waving and saying their name.

They also sell Madeleine cookies, of course, though we didn't get any. The service was given with genuine smiles. The prices were normal - not a deal but not over-the-top. We enjoyed our breakfast and will happily come back!

Good amount of seating inside (mostly 2-seaters; one larger table reserved for bigger groups). Helpful and friendly staff who were amazing with my little one. You have to try a slice of the basque cheesecake. The plain slice (with no whipped cream or fruit topping) is not overly sweet and the perfect amount of "burnt" & creamy. We also tried the madeleines, which - as the café's name suggests - were on point. And the garlic bagel is a garlic + cream cheese lover's dream. The iced dalgona latte was such a treat. Sweet with a creamy foam and topped with crunchy cookies - very well balanced and delightful to drink. The prices reflect the care and high quality of the products. While I looked online I was surprised to learn that this place tries to stay in touch with their South American roots, so obviously I wanted to try it out! On the menu I saw plenty of drinks from coffees to matchas to chais and lemonades as well. Apart from that there were other options like baked goods and sandwiches. Once I got there the place was actually very packed but there was still plenty of room as well. There was also an outside patio for those who wish to sit outside rather than inside. The vibe was giving woodsy and green. So it felt very bright and welcoming in the shop. The staff was nice and took care of me quickly. I ended up ordering their pesto flatbread. It took a couple of minutes for me to get my order but nothing too long. The flatbread was overall really good. It had arugula, pesto, cheese, prosciutto, and cherry tomatoes on top. It was very filling as well. I would def recommend this place if you're in the Charlotte area! I will say that the prices might not be the "cheapest" but I think it's worth it.

The customer service associate was polite, helpful and welcoming; needless to say I will be supporting this small business in the future.
