So much fun! It's a little humid in there but not bad or unbearable. The staff were nice. We got so much food! Lol It's a nice open space. Good atmosphere. No complaints really. We will definitely go back!

I don't write reviews on yelp. My first one! I went last night to Dumpling World. I used yelp to help me find it. So glad Forney has an authentic spot. Hands down best xiao long bao I have had in the DFW area. Delicious wrapping ( perfect density and texture) and broth. I got the pork. Bomb! My daughter is a super picky four year old and wouldn't stop eating them. We loved the chicken chow mein too. Tons of chicken and veggies. The star of the show for me was the (Szechuan) crispy spicy chicken. It's one of the best I have had ever had! I was in heaven. Our waiter was fantastic and checked in often. The whole staff was friendly and all smiles. Can't wait to go back! A++

Food was great! The service was great, they were very attentive. We've been to Din Tai Fung and were pleasantly surprised to have something similar nearby. Definitely recommend the xiao long bao and the chow mein. Very tasty.

First, the service top notch. As soon as you enter, someone greets and welcomes you in. My husband and I have gotten take out a couple of times. The food is fresh and delicious. I didn't love the beef broccoli. Though flavorful, the meat was thin but my husband liked it. However, we both loved and I would highly recommend any of the dumplings but our favorite are the shrimp and pork, the combo rice, spring rolls, crab puffs and Tso chicken. The portions are also generous. You won't be disappointed by giving Dumpling World a try.

Ok!!!! Let me just say oh my dumpling! What a great experience. We have heard about this place opening and wanted to give it a try as every time we want dumplings we have to travel into downtown Dallas or Carrollton. We live in Terrell, so a dumpling place was a godsend. Everything on the menu looked fantastic, and it was hard not to order it at all. We started it off with the pork soup dumplings, the cucumber and passionfruit and the steamed pork and scallion dumplings. Everything was fresh. The soup dumpling had such a flavorful broth and adding the homemade chili sauce and black vinegar to it was the cherry on top. It all looked so good that I forgot to take pictures in the beginning so we ordered more to capture the deliciousness! We finished off strong with the pork and scallion thumb bun dumplings and chocolate xiao long bao for dessert. Alex and Faith made our visit such a great experience for us. They took their time to explain the menu and we never felt rushed. We will be back just because of them and of course the great food. Great job Dumpling World!!!

    Soup dumplings. Shrimp/Pork

Very very authentic handmade dumplings. Cooks from Fujian Province. Very flavorful and fresh. Big portions

Great flavors for all dumplings and super friendly staff. They are new and still getting a handle on all menu items for lunch and dinner.

    10/10 recommend!

I don't know if they do this all the time, but it makes me feel special. What make this place extraordinary is the service. I apologize, but I forgot to get her name; long dark glorious wavy hair. She treated me like I was her only customer, even packing my left over jasmine tea in a Togo container. I will enjoy that with my left overs. Thank you for making the old lady in a pink baseball hat feel special. I will be back!

I would have let this slide if it happened once. I ordered through Uber Eats, and this is now the second time the fried rice I clearly paid for with both entrees was missing from my order. After the first time, I called to let them know, and the response was dismissive. When it happened again, I called again and got the same lack of concern. At that point, it's not a mistake, it's a pattern. At these prices, basic order accuracy and customer service should be a given. As for the food, it's average at best. It doesn't even reach Panda Express level in terms of consistency or flavor, which makes the pricing even harder to justify. I don't see the value here, and based on repeated issues and the lack of accountability, I wouldn't recommend.

This place is the real deal. Owner Kennedy (straight from Hong Kong) is serving up authentic, made-fresh Hong Kong classics that will transport you straight to the night markets. No watered-down American-Chinese here -- this is the good stuff. We went full feast mode and every single bite was : Crispy, juicy Singapore-style fried noodles loaded with shrimp, char siu, and that perfect wok hei Silky cheung fun (steamed rice rolls) with that glossy savory sauce Plump, soup-filled xiao long bao that burst with flavor Stir-fried beef ho fun with that signature charred wok taste Flaky egg tarts and sausage pastries that melt in your mouth And don't sleep on the zongzi and steamed buns up front -- pure comfort The display case is packed with fresh goodies, the menu is legit, and the vibe is exactly what you want from a Hong Kong stall -- no frills, just ridiculously good food. Kennedy and the team clearly pour their heart into every order, and it shows. This is the kind of spot locals keep secret... but I'm blowing it up because everyone in DFW deserves to know about it! Craving some Hong Kong food, like dim sum, rice rolls (腸粉), beef noodles, and milk tea? Check this…read moreout! Don't be misled by its humble storefront inside an Asian supermarket. The food speaks for itself. There aren't many items on the dim sum menu, but every item is nicely made. I like their beef balls, shrimp dumplings, and shrimp+pork dumplings (燒賣). They're all very fresh and tasty. I also like their rice rolls with your choice of fillings, such as fresh or dry shrimp, beef, bbp pork, or egg. The rice rolls are soft and chewy. What I really like about this place is that their steamed dim sum is made to order, so everything comes out hot, juicy, and flavorful. They also have congee 粥 (with thousand-year egg and pork) and beef noodles. Last but not least, I always get their hong kong milk tea. This is the only place I get hk-style milk tea from. I'm from that city. So I know how this iconic beverage tastes :) The staff are nice and friendly. One thing: they don't take credit cards. So bring some cash with you before heading there.

The food came out piping hot and super fast, within 5 minutes our table was full of dishes! We were a small party so we only tried some dishes: Shu Mai, Shrimp Har Gow (eh), Chicken Feet, Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, Baked BBQ Pork Buns, Soup Dumplings, Fried Shrimp Balls, and Tofu Pudding for dessert. The stars of the show were the siu mai, the Baked BBQ Pork Buns and the Steamed BBQ Pork Buns. The siu mai was packed with fillings and it was so good, might be the best one I've ever had. The Baked buns were good but the buns might be a little too heavy. However, the steamed buns were so airy, light, and fluffy. I've never seen a bun that fluffy, it was like touching a cloud. It was still good when we reheated it at home, too! My boyfriend also loved the chicken feet, it was packed with flavor and very juicy. On the other hand, the soup dumplings were okay they didn't have any soup in them. The shrimp har gow wrapper was really thick, making it not as good. The tofu pudding was delicious. It's silken tofu with sweet ginger syrup, usually served with chewy balls but they didn't have that here. It was served hot and it was my childhood so I had to get it :) It looked like a lot of food but the bill came out to be around $50+, which wasn't bad given that we had a lot of leftovers for the day. I would definitely come back here!
