Fairly new place in the Sunset. The restaurant is bright and airy with high ceilings and two floors of dining. Numerous angled parking spots on busy Noriega. We had the boiled shrimp and chive dumplings, the salt & pepper fried tofu cubes, dried beef chow fun, and red bean paste pancake for dessert. All were tasty and good. Their ice milk tea is also good and is on special right now! Service is very good with nice polite employees.

I recommend sticking to their dumplings. Their five spice braised beef noodle soup was just okay. I thought the noodle consistency/texture was weird. The broth was on the bland side - may be a different style because it was not the same color at all. We did enjoy their dumplings and potstickers though. I can't say it's better than Dumpling Home or Din Ding but they scratched the XLB itch well. I like how they also offer hong kong style milk tea. I highly recommend asking for less sweet or no additional sweet (not sure if it's an option).

Good food, nice staff. This spot's been on my list for a while since it's well rated and I share the same sentiments. We tried and enjoyed the 10 piece XLBs - v soupy Spicy fish - not too spicy Shrimp and silky egg rice - enjoyed the silky egg Shanghai rice cakes - flavorful, a bit salty bc of the mustard greens Cucumber - enjoyed the fresh garlic. You can add vinegar to adjust the flavors Will def be back. Pay cash for 5% off your bill.

Ordered catering from Dumpling Bites for ~60 people and was not disappointed! Jason from Dumpling Bites was very communicative, kind, and helpful before and during the time he set up the trays. The event attendees were very happy, complimenting the dumplings and asking where we'd ordered from! We ordered - Pan-Fried Vegetarian Potstickers - Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings - Wonton in Chili Oil - crystal shrimp dumplings - boiled pork and chive dumplings - steamed shrimp and pork shiu mai - steamed bbq pork buns You can't go wrong with any of these! They were fresh, just the right amount of spicy, not too thick of skin, and a good amount of meat and protein in them! Sometimes restaurants scrimp, but Dumpling Bites really filled up those dumplings with filling. Will order from them again, and maybe stop by when I'm in the Sunset!

We came by for their anniversary deal and it was super sweet! We ordered Shanghai noodles, scallion pancakes, and Mongolian beef over rice. They were very tasty. Parking is pretty hard depending on what time you plan to visit. I had a hard time finding parking and I was circulating the neighborhood.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was on their a game. My wife and I ordered lots of food (we knew had had plenty to go too), and the recommendations were fantastic. The food had such great flavor. We were so full and couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time. The place is clean and well maintained. We will be back.

We dropped by here seeing the Bouquets to Art in the deYoung. Service was polite and prompt. The restaurant was clean. I enjoyed the Shanghai stir fried rice cakes and Sheng jian bao. The xiaoming long bao was excellent too. Everything we ordered was excellent.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great experience. Every dish we ordered was pretty good, but the XLB (Soup Dumplings) were the highlight. They were loaded with broth and the skins were perfectly cooked. Just a heads up to be careful with that first bite because the soup was really hot, and you definitely don't want to burn your mouth. The space is huge with two floors, and the service was super friendly and fast.

Service is excellent. We had the Dim Sum Combo, which is a nice way to sample a few different things. All were good.

Yummy food with plenty of options. We started with a glass of the cold sweet soy milk with a Chinese fried dough. The milk was very refreshing and tasted fresh; the donut had a nice crispy and airy inside. The pork with preserved vegetable rice cake felt so homey and had plenty of flavor. It had the right amount of chew and was quite addicting. The Shanghai style steamed pork XLB was actually kind of forgettable, but the Dried scallop and pork steamed XLB stole the show. The flavors of the scallop and pork paired nicely together making a wonderfully flavor-blasted dish. Service was quick and it felt very modern inside. Will definitely be coming back regularly!

Came with some friends after climbing the Moraga Steps and what a gem this was! They have a special anniversary deal where you ca. get XLB for 50% off! Whaaaa?!!!! We couldn't believe it so we got 30 orders, 10 for each of us, challenge accepted! I have to admit the first XLB I had I was a little disappointed but for the value I was impressed. But the second XLB I added more vinegar/soy sauce and I was sooooooo impressed! 5/5! We also ordered the spicy eggplant and garlic over rice and my friends liked it but I was too focused on the XLB to try it! The waitstaff was nice and patient and explained the deal to us and didn't roll their eyes when we gasped. They followed up to make sure everything was fine. Lastly, the bathroom was nice! Now that's a rarity in lots of restaurants! Can't wait to come back with the fam!

Big circular tables for big groups! XLB skin is very thin and they are so juicy they explode in your mouth. Everything is served very hot and quickly. Beef noodle soup portion is huge and noodles are qq. Braised tofu is very hot and soft. Bathrooms are clean, decor is sleek, servers including Jason are very helpful and recommended great dishes. Very fairly priced IMO, just over $50 for 3 large dishes including tax and tip (w/ temporary promotion). We will be back, no complaints, 5/5

I enjoyed the whole experience, but I don't think it was necessarily anything super special or worth any longer than an hour wait, personally. We were a large group of 15, including several kids, and we completely understand that the restaurant is small and accommodating a group our size can be challenging. We waited in line for almost an hour with around 6 children. During the wait, a staff member named Sue came outside, asked how many people were in our group, and handed us menus. Since it was our first visit, we were naturally asking questions and trying to understand the menu. Unfortunately, throughout the interaction, her body language and expressions felt impatient and unwelcoming. There was visible frustration and eye-rolling, which made us feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. Even after we were seated, the experience continued to feel tense. One of the toddlers in our group started crying briefly -- something fairly common with young children -- and we were told to "keep it low out of respect." While we absolutely respect other diners, the way it was communicated felt lacking in empathy, especially on a busy Mother's Day with families dining out. A small gesture of kindness or understanding could have gone a long way. Instead, my friend felt compelled to take the child outside, which was disappointing. Additionally, after being seated, we had to remind the staff multiple times to come take our orders. What makes this especially unfortunate is that the ramen itself was truly delicious and lived up to the hype. The food was excellent, which is why this experience was so disappointing overall. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customer service and hospitality matter just as much as the food experience. Unfortunately, this was not the ideal way to end our Mother's Day celebration.

It's more than enough for 2 people to go home in food comas (with some food remaining) and for 3 to be sufficiently full. If you have big eaters, order an app alongside if you have 3 people. The Galbi stew was exceptional. I liked that they had various levels of spiciness. We went with spicy and it had a nice kick that elevated the dish for me. The beef was very tender and flavorful and the veggies and rice cakes soaked up all the juices. And the cheese was so stretchy!
