Feb 2020 Menu

This diner offers a relaxing atmosphere where Chefy and his his friendly waiter, George, serve up hearty meals to many regulars and the out- of- town folks like me. The service was prompt as I perused the bright yellow menu, and the coffee was perfect for a snowy NY morning. My choice was the Irish Benedict with corned beef hash. It was piping hot, well seasoned and a nice portion that left me wanting nothing else. The diner has booths, counter stools and tables. The decorations consisted of Plattsburgh hockey pictures, Boston Celtic, Montreal Canadians, and many funny sayings/slogans. This is a great place to wake up and smell the coffee. The food was terrific. And, it was the perfect diner setting.

Started the day off right.

Greasy food that did not taste good. Glad I haven't been missing out my whole life as this was the first time I have been here and I am old.

The definition for customer service is "the assistance and advice provided by a company to those people who buy or use its products or services."..... 5 hours....5 long hours I traveled to the city of Plattsburgh; to embark on another mission which I completed.....But not only did the 5 hour solo car karaoke fest LINKIN PARK helped me complete this mission.. "MICHIGAN PLUS" gave me the energy (THE FUEL) I needed to successfully complete what NEEDED TO BE DONE on this mission... The minute you walk into this fine restaurant you're immediately greeted with the fresh aroma coming from the grill. The chefs, grill masters channeling their energy creating dish after dish after dish. BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER! This fine establishment serves it all!! Even though they're open 7 days a week from 7am till 3pm. I must say my first time in Plattsburgh, first time at Michigans Plus...being recommended this place by a staff at the nearby Hampton Inn... I knew immediately this fine restaurant never ever "missed a step", "skipped a beat". The staff especially my waitress and the OWNER (whom I met)....SO DAMN PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY! EVERYONE TREATED ME with respect and just overall a great customer service. My food....my MEAL.....HOT DAMN!!! Now I know I had a large plate of breakfast. But I needed to prepare for this battle I was going to be in. This mission is important to me for my life and the level I NEED TO ASCEND TO. My pancakes were fully cooked individually filled with FLAVOR, my eggs were SCRAMBLED....SCRAMBLED(with tomatoes). My sausages and bacon all tasted fresh! Everything was fresh.... Quick side note (if only they had other milk options) but overall!!!!!! I am thankful for and happy(plus FULL) all because of the heart of Plattsburgh, NY....Michigans Plus Please support the locals!!!! PS: The mission was an exam.

When you walk in there's no clear direction on what to do, if you seat yourselves or have to wait to get seated. So my partner and I sat at the counter taking it as the safest bet to be seen to be served on. And after sitting down, couldn't even comfortably have my legs under the counter to eat because the counter was so short you have to sit sideways. We got drinks and closed our menus as a sign that we were ready to order. Another couple came in and sat next to us about 10-15 mins after we got there. That couple had their orders taken well before us and got their food well before us even with us being there near 15 mins before them. It was not busy and it took a while for the food to come out. No one spoke to us at all, was not a very welcoming place or staff. The food came out and was not good at all, I got a simple plate of scrambled eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, and hash browns. The hash browns were very blan and mushy were not crispy at all and just felt every sick after eating. No one checked on us after we got our food or checked to see if we needed something else to drink. Yah the meal was cheap, but it was not good at all. You could get better food and service at a school cafeteria. Very disappointed.

They have crayons and a coloring menu for the kiddos with fun activities included. They have a nice selection of kids menu- my kids opted for the rainbow sprinkles pancakes. Who knew that breakfast can be served even after 11am!?? This place does!!! The kids meal also comes with a drink, a cookie and choice of side and we got the broccoli. I LoVE that they had fresh veggies to choose from too. One of my daughters even ONLY ate the broccoli and not the pancakes... how in the world that happened I have no idea!! So the broccoli was really good. As for the main menu they are known for their "all day breakfast" menu. I personally got their classic melted chicken sandwich and opted for their homemade onion rings yum!!! It was super filling and a nice stop to fuel up before heading back home. Everyone there was also super nice and friendly too! They checked up on us and asked us if we needed anything which I appreciate. After checking numerous reviews and website menus, It appeared to me that Twisted Carrot was one of…read morethe most interesting restaurants in the area, in terms of menu and atmosphere. My dinner experience there certainly lived up to expectations. The restaurant is small, seating maybe about 30 people. I wouldn't call it intimate, but I would call it friendly. The menu items are enjoyably named, with some interesting ingredient and flavor combinations. Service is fast and friendly; 3 servers can take care of all the tables quite nicely, with time for fun conversation as you go. The cocktail list is small, and the drinks are simply garnished, but everything we tried was quite flavorful and reasonably priced. As an appetizer, the Moo Moo Dippers, filled with shaved ribeye and corned beef and combined with the remoulade sauce for dipping. were addicting. My salmon filet came atop a bed of roasted sweet potato and corn hash and a sauce on top to give it more interesting presentation and flavor. The pork medallions were similarly appealing. We passed on dessert, because most of the offerings had some form of caffeine in them (e.g., boozy affogato), but I'm certain they would have been equally delicious. I was surprised the restaurant closed so early on days they're actually open, i.e., 8pm. So if you want convenient dining, get there early for dinner, because it does fill up.
