Shit service One person at casher also makes yogurt. She stopped making it when other customers buy bread. Waiting forever for our two drinks. Such waste of time. Whoever owns this Restaurant needs to find a better server or casher whatever. Such a joke.

Tried Duke Bakery through Too Good To Go and got 6 pastries for $10. Most of them ended up having red bean filling, which I'm personally not a huge fan of, but I can still appreciate the quality. The bread itself was soft. The fillings weren't overly sweet, which I liked since it didn't feel heavy or overwhelming. Even though the selection wasn't exactly my preference, the overall taste and value were solid. I'd come back again, especially to try more of their other options. It was my first time and I didn't know that they were supposed to swipe to confirm, not me but she was nice and still let me pick them up. Also, bring your bag to carry the breads / pastries.

staff used plyers to open the jar. Disappointed in the taste.

Came here to buy the Kokonut jelly. Cashier at first told me she didn't have any spoons. She found one for me in a drawer. Then I couldn't open the jar itself. I went back into the store to ask for help to open it and she would help other people at the register and kept saying she didn't have anything to help me open it with . I spent the next few hours trying to open this jar. It was so hard to open! Finally some staff that worked in a restaurant used plyers to pry it open! Melo melo taste a lot better. I wouldn't come back due to the rude staff and difficulty opening the kokonut jar.

I've been going to Dukes since Covid. They have a lot of different types of breads that it is overwhelming. However, don't fret because they offer so many samples that you can literally go in there and try all the breads. My favorite is the cream cheese cranberry bread. The breads are actually quite large and they are reasonably priced. You could eat them over several days. I'm not sure how they bake their breads, but the texture is very uniquely soft yet chewy. it's very different and very good. The space is small, so if a lot of people come in at one time, the shop can feel squishy. They also offer coconut pudding. Casual. Parking can be difficult during peak hours. Good service. Please come and create your own experience.

I was in the area today and I decided to try this bakery. It's located in the same plaza where I usually have my nails done so yeah, why not try something new for me. Bought a few different kind of breads. One thing I noticed was the size -- they were huge! Definitely larger than average. The bread selection was okay, enough for my enjoyment. The service was good - friendly staff.

Stopped by here on a whim to get some bread. Grabbed a random assortment to try and was pleasantly surprised at how big they were. Depending on what you get, some of the bread was soft and airy and others were more dense but none of them were dry. To me, the prices are a little higher, but the bread is also a bit bigger as well so I guess it evens out in the end.

Such a cute bakery with fresh bread and sweets at a good price! Stopped by here after having shabu shabu next door as we wanted something sweet. They had a bunch of different bread both savory and sweet. It was so hard choosing but we decided on a loaf of the cranberry walnut bread and Carrie black bread. The cranberry walnut bread had the perfect amount of cranberries and walnuts evenly spread and wasn't too sweet. The Carrie black bread was my favorite - it was a dark chocolate bread with layers of Belgian chocolate, dark chocolate chunks, and what seemed like a marscapone cream filling. It was amazing! Both breads were soft, so fresh, and the loaves were huge. Such a good value for less than $5 per loaf. Will definitely be back again the next time I want something sweet!

My favorite OC bakery when it comes to Asian pastries. Quick in and out, minimal line. Their breads are monstrous in size and fluffy. Not too sweet and run about $5-6 each. The must try items are the garlic parmesan and angel taro. Personally the Hokkaido azuki was average. Looking forward to trying more of their items.

Small Taiwanese bakery in the Sunright and Dunkin Donuts plaza on Jeffrey/Irvine Center Drive. The bread selection was okay. Some were soft and others not so much. Much prefer 85c. Customer service here needs some work, they're not very friendly.

Yummy desserts and tucked in a small spot which makes it even cuter. Try their strawberry cake!

Yam Angel Bread is so delicious it was soft, light bread infused with the sweetness of yam.

I'd made an online order on Saturday, 10/17/2026 for an 8" strawberry cream cake to be picked up at 7pm on 10/22/2026. I received an order reminder/pickup confirmation email on 10/21/2026 I arrived at Sunmerry on 10/22/2026 at 6:55pm and told the staff I had an online order under my name for 7pm pickup and showed them the email receipts. They were unable to find my order in their system or on a tab in the kitchen and ended up giving me the 8" strawberry cream cake inside their display case Unfortunately, I didn't think to inspect the cake before leaving and well... you can scroll through the pictures yourself. The whipped cream exterior had literally dried out. It was like eating crumbly, airy oil. The chiffon itself was ok, but the inside filling had turned gummy. And the strawberries? They're probably on the brink of cultivating a new strain of penicillin (pst~ hey Pfizer, we still have the strawberry Petri dishes if you're interested in a culture!). We weren't sure if we were eating fruit leather or rehydrated freeze-dried NASA fruit rations One would expect that an online order would mean receiving a fresh cake, yet nothing about this cake was fresh and between multiple people, we were barely able to stomach 1/8th of it before the texture and flavors got to us and we called it quits Obviously, I can't say for certain, but we've had cakes from Tous Les Jours and 85° keep in a fridge for days without ever achieving this level of mummification so I hate to imagine how long this Sunmerry cake had been sitting for before being pawned off on us This cake was for a birthday so the lack of quality and edibility is a huge disappointment to say the least Order at your own peril and do not say you weren't warned

What else to say about Chaupain, except it's always exceptional?…read more I'm biased - but their pastries have got to be the best in OC. This is the 3rd Chaupain location I've been to, I happened to be in the area. It's smaller than the one on La Paz in LN to be sure, but ample size enough to provide anyone with full tastes of their amazing goods. I like everything - I've tried nearly all of their pastries and cakes, this time I tried the cinnamon roll- which was insanely good, soft, and tasted of such quality. Actually - never tried their quiche, which is certainly on a bucket list for next time. I highly recommend everything they have - but just to name a new, the guava cream cheese, cinnamon cream cheese, mixed berry bateau, opera cake, vanilla scone, any of their croissants, lemon tiramisu, and the jamon sandwich is incredible - I love that the bread had a chewy texture, which is perfect for this sandwich. Adding any of the American condiments would almost be a sacrilege, but a bit of dijon is good, which they have there in packets- the flavours work so well together. I really struggle to restrain myself when coming here, which necessary for your wallet and your waistline - but whatever you decided it's all good here. The customer service was also stellar - very friendly, helpful, and personable. Thank you !

Whenever I come here it's always the same lady who I'm sure is tired of seeing me lol, but she is so sweet and kind and patient when I have trouble deciding what to pick here! As for the pastries/desserts, the custard pudding cup deserves more love! I'm not sure if it's housemade here, but if you've ever been to Japan, it tastes exactly like the ones you buy from the konbini! I remember I would buy one almost every day of my trip, so I've grown cravings for it that Hamadaya satisfies in OC. The bavarian chocolate cream is a fun decadent pastry if you're into chocolate- comes with so many chocolate chips. The cheese bread is also a go-to for me if I'm in a savory mood- it's exactly what it sounds like, cheese and bread but who doesn't love those two things? Egg katsu sandwich is good if you're looking for something more substantial. The strawberry shortcake I've tried here was also good, but I did pick it up near their closing so it felt a little dried out. Definitely would recommend coming here earlier in the day for fresher and better selection of pastries!
