This place is garbage. My girlfriend gave me a casual kiss at our table, and it was like we committed a crime. The waiter approached us to report that others were "not comfortable with intimacy." Then, when I spoke with the owner-manager about the ridiculous situation, he handled it terribly. Before you know it, I have one of the restaurant's posse members telling me to "keep walking" because he knows "Brazilian Jiu Jitsu." I almost had to call the cops. Or tell me about the breath of unexpected delight when a dish is placed before wide eyes moments after it was memorized. Or explain, if you can, how to chose from a menu with not one item you wouldn't eat (sans kale) or how to drink sangria interrupted by maroon-soaked fruit as it casts its shadow into the hollow of a spoon to blend chorizo and white beans and onto a hand to hold crab and shrimp tacos and over lips to-sweet-not-sour teriyaki calamari. Delicious ! This is a wonderful classic tapas restaurant. True tapas seem to be hard to find in my area so this was a happy find for my wife and I. We started with a dozen fresh oysters which were creamy and accompanied by an interesting pickle [beets ?] mix. Continued on with 5 tapas dishes and a salad. The star of the evening was the Boar Terrine. Comfortable environment with an interesting and friendly vibe. The service was friendly, attentive and prompt without any rushing despite them seeming fairly busy. Highly recommended. read more

Your outside dining, your people watching, and it looked like people were drinking white sangria! We checked in with a server and got seated outside. And we sat. And we sat. Hey, owner/manager -- check your book. Who was working the dinner shift on Friday, June 30? After about 10 minutes we DID get lukewarm tap water (no ice) and a cone of bread sticks. We got excited...could our waiter be far behind? We will never know. We waited almost 20 minutes and got no service. If you were THAT busy (and good for you if you were) OR you don't know how to manage your outdoor seating, know that even stopping by with a quick word (I will be right with you) goes a long way. It was tasty enough but felt it was missing a few notes to make it delicious. I came to this restaurant for the tapas that they advertise. Tapas are spanish small plates. This restaurant served nothing of the sort. Rather, they served small plates of some pseudo Italian-California trendy menu items that did not make sense together in the slightest. The menu was confusing, with one item completely unrelated to the next. The dishes were also very expensive! I was surprised at the cost of the food, and I eat out in the city all the time. The quality of the ingredients used, the poor culinary skill in the kitchen, and the small size of even the "full size entrees" did not reflect the price at all. The food was bland, uninteresting and failed to impress. Not one bite of any dish my party ordered made me want to take another. Imagine asking the absolute whitest person on this planet to make something spicy and they serve you an unseasoned, boiled chicken breast with ketchup and salt. I feel like that's the best comparison I can make to these chefs who served this "Spanish/Italian" fare. I ordered the eggplant special - it was sliced unevenly and deep fried without any seasoning, topped with an insufficient amount of honey to the point that some slices did not have any at all. Having worked in the culinary field, I can tell you that same size cuts and seasoning (at least with salt!!) are the first things taught in culinary school and quite worrisome that the first item to come out had neither of these. The next items that we ordered were just as unimpressive. All edible, but none enjoyable. The burrata did not taste fresh, the gnocchi was tough, unsalted and lacking the truffle oil flavor advertised on the menu. None of the dishes even featured any quality olive oil - a key component of both Spanish and Italian fare. My party left still hungry, after paying a pretty penny. We left to get more food elsewhere. If your suburban tastebuds often lead you to a diet of Mac and cheese and chicken fingers, this place may be a good adventurous and culturally relevant food establishment for you. But, if you are like me and appreciate quality ingredients, skilled chefs (or at least chefs that took 1 basics class in culinary school) and a dish that you actually enjoy eating, stay far away from this restaurant. What a wonderful place! I was waiting at the train station for a friend and yelped a restaurant. I've done the standard watering holes too many times. Yelp offered this tapas restaurant with 4 stars. Wow! Between the food and the service, it's a home run. Everyone that works there is having fun and makes it fun. The owner/chef must be a great person because everyone is wonderful there and it rolls downhill. Ben was our waiter and was spot on - just down to earth, personable and great. Hostess - awesome. The food was quite good and very well seasoned. I always find food suspect though when it is brought to the table too quickly. GABRIEL the waiter literally and figuratively saved this establishment from a 2 or 1 star review. The food is not the end all be all of the eating experience. You wanted to be treated well and appreciated for choosing your restaurant over the 30 plus restaurants in the area. I hope the ownership reads this and appreciates GABRIEL. BUT when you ask for a table for 1 and the hostess gives the better table outdoors to the couple behind you, the review already is being written in my head. The hostess who seemed to be all of 15 years of age didn't have the sense or courtesy to treat me with equal consideration as the non brown couple who was BEHIND Me in line. Folks do not want brown folks calling out the race card but I WAS ahead of them in line, asked to be seated outdoors, was given the worst table on the edge and around the corner, had been seated for 5 minutes without a menu, no plate, glass, water or utensils, and no waiter had approached me. They were out of a few things, which was annoying, especially on a Saturday night. Overall good experience, though. Update: Went there again last week. I've been there for a dinner willing to had amazing Argentinian dishes. I tried several tapas which weren't great and also the "Argentinian steak". Well, this is how they sell it, because is not Argentinian at all, from the beef's cut, how it was cooked, the chimichurri, etc. The empanadas Argentinas.. one of the options was an empanada of pork and yuca! really? we don't even have yuca in Argentina. I was really disappointed, the prices were high for the food that was served. Service was good that's why I give one star. So if you are looking for Argentinian food that's not the place when I asked for a 'parrillada' the typical Argentinian food they didn't have a clue of what it was :(. read more

We were seated promptly and graciously even without a reservation. My friend is Cuban and very familiar with Tapas plates so I let her order. We got shrimp w beans, the potato dish, two different empanadas, and a pasta to share. The shrimp was the best (we practically fought over it, haha). The empanadas lacked a little zest, (but then again to a Cuban nothing compares to Mama's empanadas!) Except for the pasta, the portions were a bit small. Dessert was interesting, rice krispies drizzled w godiva chocolate and service was great. We were not drinking but I believe they have a limited wine list and are also byob. Food: there were four of us so we were able to try a handful of dishes. We started with four tapas - the buffalo milk burrata and cured ham, the chorizo, the warm white bean bruschetta and the shrimp ala ajillo (chili lemon oil). All were delicious. The bruschetta was probably our least favorite of the four, but I'd still get it again. The burrata was ridiculous. Then we all had an empanada. There were several to pick from. We had the beef and the Cubano. The Cubano was better than the beef. They were both pretty good, but not worth their price. About $5 per empanada. Next we had what was pretty much our main course. Two hanger steaks from the "Specials" menu, pasta w/ three meat ragu, meatballs, and raw oysters. I didn't try the pasta, but my buddy loved it. Gave it high marks. The oysters were great. Served with traditional accompaniments plus some pickled onion. The hanger steaks were prepared to order - medium. Delicious. Would definitely get it again. But the meatballs (called Albondigas on the menu) were terrible. We were all so shocked. They tasted old and/or previously frozen for about two years. I can't imagine anyone liking these things. Anyway, we then finished with the cheesecake, tartufo and the cannoli. All were awesome. I would order all three again in a second. Service: overall, good, but it's worth noting that it took way to long for someone to come over when we first sat down to open our wine etc. we actually flagged the waiter down. However, once we had a waiter, he did a great job. Attentive. Polite. Knew the menu well. Atmosphere: good lighting, not too bright not too dark, busy, lots of Windows, very comfortable. I definitely enjoyed my experience. I was a little concerned when we selected this spot because some of the reviews said the portions were so small etc. If you like tapas, BYO, good place for dinner with friends, you should try this place. But prepare to spend between $80 - $100 a couple after tip if you want to take advantage of their menu. read more

One of the best dining experiences in NJ! Fried oysters, and calamari were exquisite. Homemade bread is fresh and delicious. They make an amazing spread when you ask for hot sauce, that is creamy and makes a great stand alone spread! We had lemon gnocchi, and roasted vegetable tagliatelle. Both were perfectly seasoned. Layers of flavor reveal themselves upon each bite delighting the palate! The tiramisu is well balanced, and an excellent finish to this scrumptious meal. We'll be regulars for certain! We have been to Due 360 in the past and have enjoyed the food. We decided to invite our friend for dinner there this evening and called to make a reservation the night before. We arrived at the restaurant to find that that they had no record of our reservation and told us there was no way they could accommodate our party of four. Clearly we were very disappointed and understand the mistakes happen but the management did absolutely nothing to "compensate" us for their error (offer a discount on our next visit or even complimentary dessert the next time we might visit) but instead let us walk out the door with no incentive for us to return in the future. It is obvious to us that they don't value their customers loyalty and are just looking to fill tables. I never write reviews but felt compelled to in this case. read more

My wife had tried this place with friends first, so my expectations were pretty high based on what she told me. I was very pleased. The food was creative and delicious. There are a lot of gluten free options, but you do not miss any flavor with whatever magic they used to substitute the gluten.
