Just found this Duck Donuts location. Had previously been to another store in South Carolina. The donuts are exceptional and the customer approach was very personal. Ordered donut holes which were next to the register as well as 2 custom donuts - cinnamon roll and maple bacon. Wow - watched them make the donuts for other customers while we waited. Each donut was hand dipped and topped. So yummy. Pricey but so tasty. Price was 2/$5, but goes down as you order up to 6 which is what most people ordered. Also got a flavored lemonade which was a bit sweet for me but still tasty. Definitely will go back as a treat.
It doesn't get fresher than made to order donuts. Duck Donuts has a fun variety of seasonal flavors that are worth returning for. I've always preferred cake donuts, and I'm a fan of the light and airy texture of theirs. It was super easy to order on their website. My personal favorites were the orchard glaze (tasted like a warm, delicious apple crumble) and the cinnamon bun. The donuts are best eaten right away, so plan accordingly.
With donuts that look this amazing, we eat with our eyes and to see beautiful, craveable, and luscious donuts with beautiful colors and the shine , look at the shine, glistening, wow. And the taste? Heaven on earth. Crispy crunchy hot off the fryer donuts, sweet, creamy icing. Words can not describe the umami your taste buds will enjoy. Must try the blue berry dipped donut.
This is my go to for the same consistent great tasting plain donuts every time. My next favorite is the chocolate covered with peanuts on top. Eat it right after it is served and it'll be slightly crispy, fluffy and always delicious! Never had an issue with service and they always serve with a smile. There's not many spots to sit and eat but there's a bar table facing the window where I go enjoy my donuts every time. Honestly I've never tried any other flavors but if you love old fashioned this is the spot to get it as fresh as possible.
Popped in to grab some tasty treats for the Bean. After as brief discussion with a very courteous clerk I decided for a variety dozen. S'mores, strawberry confetti, cookies and crème, apple pie, blueberry, and peanut butter were the stars of the show. After tasting I can definitely say we'll be back. Donuts were delicious. A small brick and mortar shop, you actually see the donut making process which is pretty cool
The best cake donuts I've ever had! Yum yum yum. They are light cake and made fresh to order. The toppings are varied and put on made to order. My favorite was the cookie dough. Ordering was a slow process and since the donuts are topped to order you will have to wait 5-10 minutes for them to be put together.
I enjoy bringing the kids (4&2) here on a Saturday morning. They really enjoy watching the donuts go thru the fryer and when the staff makes them on the spot. They have a little observation deck so that kids can watch over the process completely. I'm terms of the actual donuts these are similar to cake donuts not the y light and airy ones. The multitude of toppings makes these so much fun since there are probably a dozen (if not more) flavor combinations to choose from. I find myself coming back every few months!
If you think voodoo donuts are meh and overrated, try this place. Duck Donuts makes donuts fresh PER order. As in, you order and they don't pull some donuts off a rack. They fry them and decorate/flavor them on the spot. Fresh donuts actually made to order, with great customer service to boot. On their first day back in business after temporarily closing for COVID-19, I went to pick up some donuts, not knowing their timeline of operations. I requested "the beach" and was given the "beach ball" instead (totally different donuts if you look them up) and Scott, the manager graciously refunded me for three donuts instead of one. Then I found out that they opened in March, were open for three weeks, had to close the next three weeks, and then they reopened for curbside. Their service was amazing. The employees see you from their storefront so all you need to do is park and wait. They'll come to you! And ordering with the app was so easy and fast. We ordered a dozen different donuts and they all taste so good. I would recommend the bacon in the sun, though. One of my favorites so far! read more

What a wonderful experience! I wasn't expecting to get to build my own donuts. I thought I'd walk in and this would be a regular donut place. They have a menu with suggestions or you can make your own. The donuts are fresh fried. They the. Head to the topping station. Then viola! Custom fresh donuts! The entire staff was EXCELLENT! I mean some of the most kind and friendly people I've come across in service. There was a line and I expected to be waiting a while but it went shockingly fast. Once your donuts are done YOU get to be quality control. They ask how everything looks. Of course it was perfection. And we can't forget the taste! It's a delicious cake donut. Duck Donuts is awesome! I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I can definitely appreciate when sweet foods are done right, and Duck Donuts is absolutely delicious. The donuts here are assembled and dressed right in front of you when ordering. Some of the best donuts I've tried here include Bacon In The Sun which includes maple icing and chopped up bits of bacon, Blueberry Pancake which has blueberry icing and drizzled with maple syrup, and Peanut Butter Paradise which has peanut butter icing and a chocolate drizzle. There are so many other options to choose from and every single one of them have been great. The difference in quality with Duck Donuts compared to most other donut shops is very obvious and definitely worth ordering from. read more

1. They offer curbside and order ahead! Yessss! 2. My order was ready on time and those donuts came out warm and smelling so good!! 3. The donuts were fluffy and warm and fresh but not heavy. I went there today for the special, a dozen donuts for $12 for National rubber ducky day. Omg they are beautiful and very tasty. They make them while you are there!!! From start to finish!! I ate three donuts within 90 min because they were warm and hard to refuse. The regular price is good as well, about $2 a piece. The employees are all so kind there too! From simple cake donuts to signature, special donuts, Pflugerville Duck Donuts really brought out the best taste and experience for their customers. I tried Duck Donuts for the first time and wow! They have a wide variety to choose from. Great combination of flavors and you really can't go wrong with any of these. My personal favorite, so far, is Vanilla Icing with Oreo, followed by Chocolate Covered Banana! Overall, I think the donuts are tasty. They're fun. They're pretty to take pictures of. Very cool experience! Walk straight to back to order. You pick up your order at the front near the front door. You can see them frying the donuts fresh and they decorate it in front of u. Man oh man!!!! I have never had such a freshly made, sinfully decadent donut... until now! My first time in this establishment and the manager greeted me and made me feel welcomed which was a great start! Then he noticed I was looking around and asked if it was my first time there, (which I said yes) then he directed me to the cashier that explained how the process works. By the way, especially in these times, the customer service in this place was TOP NOTCH! I am truly amazed at how wonderful my caramel coffee with almond milk tasted! I have to say, even though there was a mistake with my order, the kind lady who made my donut corrected it and she even let me have the other donut. I tell you, it's such a breath of fresh air to walk into an establishment such as this where all the staff including the manager made me and my service dog feel welcomed! Thank you Duck Donuts! Donuts from here are deliciously fresh, wonderful and worth the wait and every penny. One donut will run you about $1.80 and like I said it's worth it. They're made to order (literally) so my son and I stood at the little window like little kids fascinated. I tried the cinnamon sugar donut and iced caramel macchiato. The donut was warm and fresh and the iced caramel macchiato tasted great. The price of the donut is pretty steep compared to other chains but you are getting a fresh made to order donut which is worth it. Fun place, I like all the unique options and that you can customize if you want. Kids would love this place. Donuts were decent, not the best I had. Donuts are cakey/dense, so if you like that this is the place for you. Service was fine 1/3 employees working was a little rude but the other 2 were nice. Store was clean. This is a solid 4+ stars. I don't often eat donuts, but if I'm going to eat them, I want to make them worth it. I was celebrating a friend's birthday and wanted to find something to treat her and myself. I came looking at trusty Yelp and decided this would be the spot. It would be new for both of us (or at least I was hoping so for her since it was a surprise and I guessed right!) and the reviews here were incredible. I ordered two custom half dozens as I wanted us each to have our own boxes, especially since she would be taking hers home. The customization options are incredible - you can make your choices easily online for the base coating, topping and drizzle. This enabled me to choose each half dozen that would be best suited to each of our tastes - not anything that was just what was offered or having to settle. The donuts themselves are a wonderful consistency - not too heavy and not too overpowering...they are not overly sweet, so let the flavors speak for themselves. They are made fresh to order and they were ready and waiting for me when I pulled up to the curbside for my order (pro tip: add curbside pickup to your online order if you want that option). Thank you Duck Donuts for helping us celebrate her birthday in a festive, tasty and personalized way! My friend who I gifted the donuts to had the maple bacon combo in her mix (maple frosting base, bacon topping and maple drizzle). I may never turn my back on my personal favorite Shipley Donuts for a quick and cheap breakfast/snack, but Duck Donuts is on their own level. They boast a huge variety of flavors, ranging from the dessert to the fruity spectrum. Over the course of two visits, we've tried their Sunrise, Blueberry Lemonade, PB&J, and Strawberry Shortcake. The donuts aren't overly sweet, and the dough is wonderfully fried, hot and crispy. Ordering online as well as the pickup process is simple and the packaging is nice. I am very picky with my donuts because some donuts tend to be too hard, too greasy, too sweet and overall unenjoyable to eat. However duck donuts, donuts were so light and fluffy and warm. They flavors they can in were amazing with the Oreo, or cinnamon or chocolate or maple bacon toppings! I ordered from the about a week after they opened and then unfortunately with the pandemic they closed down a while, but luckily they have reopened! Looking forward to one day being able to go in and pick up the donuts because I definitely got these delivered (yes they were delivered HOT) which was also a big big plus! We had heard of Duck Donuts and how good they were, when we saw they were opening in Pflugerville we had to stop by and we just so happened to go on opening day. The donuts are made to order, you start with a vanilla cake donut and can pick any icings, drizzles, and toppings that you want. They have standard favorites too, which is what we ordered from. Not realizing it was their grand opening we walked up to a ton of people. Surprisingly everything went really quickly and we didn't have to wait to long to get our order. The concept is neat, being able to pick your toppings and frostings on a fresh warm donut. They are light and airy cake donuts, but the actual donuts only come in one flavor. The space is super small and with the amount of people inside, it was almost claustrophobic. There is very limited seating, but you can see the employees making everything right in front of you. We didn't eat all of them the same day and they were still just as soft and yummy the next day. read more

Ordered for the first time yesterday from Duck Donuts in Pflugerville. Downloaded the app, chose what we wanted, picked up curbside and brought home. We got sausage, egg and cheese on a donut which was wonderful. A dozen duck donuts and a couple extra maple bacon donuts and a French toast donut. I ate the French toast and breakfast sandwich for breakfast which were both so good. I can't even explain how good the French toast one was but honestly I love voodoo donuts but live in round Rock and driving to 6th Street downtown Austin is just so far. Duck Donuts is just as good and that French toast donut was just a hint of crispy fried goodness with all that sugary deliciousness.
