5 stars for location and quality,.just do it on your first trip to Paris. This river cruise docks in front of the Eiffel so your cruise will begin with daylight views and end with the tower sparkling right in front of you as the evening ends for perfect pictures. Food presentation was beautiful although flavor profiles were sometimes a miss. The bread and the BUTTER were the best. Staff seemed exhausted and over it. I'd still recommend it.

Alan Ducasse, I really don't know much about the person but he's popular in France with restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, we got food poisoning while dining on the river cruise. Let's gets the positives out of the way. The cruise and ship was fantastic. 2 hours round trip up the river and back. It was perfect. On to the food. Nothing great here to write home about. Nothing. Fancy designed small portion all surrounded in some sort of sauce. Everything. Sauced. Not one plate stood out or really wowed me. At nearly 250 euro that's really troubling. The wine pairings were nice though. About the food poisoning. Yes, I narrowed it down to this restaurant based to what we did and didn't eat together at previous restaurants. We think it was the main lobster entree. Which was basically a quartered lobster tail. It was small. I do distinctly recall how difficult it was to cut the lobster meat. Usually I can slice right through the meat. Fast forward 5 hours and it was a diarrhea vomiting extravaganza for the next 5 hours and body aches and weakness for the next 15 hours. We lost a complete day in Paris because of this dinner. I obviously don't recommend going on this dinner cruise.

This is a must-do in Paris! Due to the amount of rain they received we couldn't get to parts of the Seine but still had some great views. The food and wine pairings... CHEFS KISS! My first time even having foie gras and was delicious. Great value for an incredible fine dining experience. Service was impeccable.

The most beautiful and amazing dinner cruise of my life. This was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we stepped on this was an incredible experience. We did the 5 course meal and it was perfection. Highly recommend to everyone. The electric engine was quiet and no smell of diesel made for complete enjoyment when outside checking out the scenery. Thank you to the staff and apologies for the confusion at the end.

My mother in law was visiting and we decided that this could be a good way to celebrate her birthday and for a unique experience. The experience was excellent and exceeded my expectations. All of us enjoyed our meals and the wines we selected (Pierre Peters Champagne 2018 Grand Cru and Pierre Girardin Puligny-Montrachet) ) were excellent. The service was great and the ambiance was quiet but not stuffy. I would recommend lunch here as it's a nice experience.

Great tourist experience with great food. Wonderful boat tour of Paris at night matched with great food and plenty of wine. Opulent level of service. Definitely on the repeat list.

A bait and switch SCAM!! We prepaid for our tickets 5 months in advance and 4 hours prior, they demanded twice the price (additional 175 euros per person)! Buyer should be VERY aware!

One word sums up the restaurant: disappointing. The food is way below the level you can imagine using Chef Ducasse's name. Poor service. Regular cleaning. Very expensive for the service received. It doesn't have air conditioner and the atmosphere was suffocating

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

We loved watching Chef Hugo cooking. Plus, what he prepared was delicious! We started with the ravioli appetizer we see so often recommended. Excellent! Dinners were a beef dish and a chicken dish. Both were amazing! In addition, dessert featuring a pear mouse was wonderful! Prices are for the good and wines were very fair. As you can guess, we highly recommend La Cordonnerie!

There are two tables essentially in the kitchen (a true "Chef's Table" arrangement) and maybe 6 tables in the adjoining room. We were welcomed warmly. Deborah was the hostess and server. Chef Hugo is visible in the kitchen, working very hard to make everything just perfect. They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.
