They worked patiently with my toddler (who recently had to get her first pair of glasses) and made her feel super comfortable. Dr Ben made sure I understood what was being evaluated for my toddler and even help to adjust my toddler's new glasses since we were the last patient for the day. I made an appointment for 10:30 for my wife and I on Monday. I received an email today saying my appointment was at 9:00. I called the office to correct the time. The receptionist said if I scheduled the appointment at 10:30 they would have wrote it at 10:30 in their book and made it sound like it was my fault. She just said she doesn't know what happened and wouldn't keep our original appointment saying she can take one of us at 9:30 and the other at 11:00. So she wants to inconvenience us to match their schedule. Does that make any sense? I cancelled our appointments and she was very happy to do so because she doesn't own the business and doesn't care about the value of two new patients. Just a fake apology and absolutely no attempt to remedy the situation. I hope one of the doctors reads this review. I was looking for a new optometrist. Guess I will keep looking. read more

Went there recently, found a tiny cramped office with just one staff member with a receptionist who doesn't know how to smile or make customers comfortable. The frames are located in glass cabinets with doors behind the chairs for the staff making it difficult to reach them and to try frames you have to then move behind chairs to get to a mirror. I visited Dublin Ranch Optometry in search of a new pair of glasses. I saw Dr. Yee who I found extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had several questions in terms of the options for the lenses and comfort since a previous pair I purchased from another office did not seem to fit me well and I was trying to avoid that happening from this new pair. Dr. Yee was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly and also explained what may be the problem with my original pair. So while in search of a new pair she explained to me what I might and might not like about the frames, whether it would be the shape, the weight, how it would sit on my nose, what the lens would look like, etc.... Dr. Yee and Shianne (not sure if that's how her name is spelled but she's the assistant at the office) spent a lot of time to help me with my selection (it was so hard to choose.. they had so many cute frames there!). They were both very honest with what they felt fit/looked nicer on my face and with so many styles to choose from I definitely had my options. I would highly recommend Dublin Ranch Optometry. They were thorough with the exams, knowledgeable, honest, extremely friendly, and they have a large selection of glasses in different styles and prices to accommodate almost everyone. I have previously always gone to the eye doctor in my Costco simply because of convenience - I've never had a bad experience at Costco, but seeing Dr. Yee and Dr. Gilsdorf was definitely an upgrade on a completely different level - in a very good way. Service is personal, genuine, and honest - and this was without a doubt the most thorough eye exam I've ever had in my life. Dr. Yee was very interested in my concerns and very thoughtfully and accurately answered all my questions with great patience. She took time to explain what she was doing, was clear about the pricing options, and basically addressed any issues that I had with my eyes. I also had my 1 year old son with me while I was in the office, and they offered him toys to select from their special tray of surprises that made him feel special. This thoughtful detail was just the icing on the cake. The décor of the practice is so elegantly done, clean, and modern - it's a great spacious, open area - and they have a really nice selection of stylish frames. I visited this store not too long ago. Dr. Yee and Shianne (assistant) are both very kind-hearted people. I really loved how Dr. Yee is so down-to-earth; just an easy person to talk to. Dr. Yee is great at what she does; I never felt uncomfortable at all during my entire visit there, which was great because I was nervous - considering this was my first time getting an eye exam! She's very knowledgable and knows exactly what she's doing; she was able to answer all of my questions. I had my first visit/exam here today with Dr. Yee who I found through my vision plan and I can't praise them highly enough! Very modern, nice clean facility with state of the art equipment near Lowe's. Cheyenne at the front desk was wonderful with helping with my insurance and Dr. Yee was the most personable, informative and knowledgeable Optometrist that I've been to. Very easy to understand the information she imparts on you. The selection of frames isn't huge but all top quality and nice current styles and designer frames too. He was very thorough in his eye exams and personally spent a great deal of time adjusting the frames that we purchased to get perfect fits. Very nice guy. We will definitely be back. I decided to go to Dublin Ranch Optometry since it was in my insurance network, and after doing some research, fellow Yelpers recommended it. I made appointments for my husband and I. We were both not disappointed! Shianne was friendly both on the phone and in person. Dr. Yee was very professional and knowledgeable about my questions and issues I had been having. She was very patient with me as I explained what was happening with my contacts that I had for years and she saw that my eyes were dry and also recommended a different brand of contacts. Redness no more! Both Shianne and Dr. Yee also helped both my husband and I pick out glasses. We chose a few that we liked, they chose a few they wanted us to try on, and gave honest feedback. I saw Dr. Benjamin Gilsdorf a week ago. I went in for a routine exam to see if I really needed a rx previously given to me. This was the most in depth eye exam I have ever had. He was very nice and really did everything he could to make sure I was leaving with the best care. I didnt need any glasses and he was honest about it. I've been coming here for 4 years now and couldn't be happier with my treatment. Years ago I had a issue with my contacts feeling dry and went to two to three different places and was given different treatments ranging from Vitamin E tabs to drops that were $120 a bottle. Dr Yee saw that my lids were a bit irritated and recommend a different contact lens. I have never had an issue again. She is thorough, kind, fun, professional and knowledgable. Came here two years ago to get my son glasses and had a great experience with the doctors, but they I didn't have a lot of options for kids glasses. I needed new glasses so I scheduled an appointment. Upon arriving I was told that they had scheduled me for a different time then I had requested. They didn't make any accommodations for their mistake other than offering me the appointment time they had mistakenly scheduled me for. I guess I'll be finding a new optometrist for my family. I have a pair of expensive glasses. I like it very much, but I was very frustrated with the left temple which fell off sometimes. I needed to push it back when that happened. Once I stop by Dublin Ranch Optometry and expressed my problem. Dr. Gilsdorf immediately helped secure that temple even my glasses was not made by his office. I am so grateful that he solved my big headache. He also went above and beyond to help me with my potential new frame by calling the lab and calling me with his findings which eased my concern.
