Just wanted to see the different models and Juan was very informative without the strong salesman pitch. We left and said if we decide, we would be back. Came back a week later after doing our homework and narrowed down our search. Luckily Juan was there again and helped us select the vehicle, test drive, and he described the features of our new car. I did a check in for here. However I don't think it was a review. So here is my review. I was searching to get a car of my own. I thought I would actually go with a Hyundia Velositor. Checked out one and wanted to be sure not to leap. But loved this Velositor. When I went to tell the salesman that I will be back I wanted to be sure and that I was interested in the car. It was a 2012 fully loaded for 17k. I was excited about the car. But not excited about the price. When I advised the salesman this he said. Ok thank you. Call me and I will see if I can make time for you. Bad thing to say to someone who likes good customer service. So my husband and I left and drive down the road a bit irritated at the comment. We came. Across this place and we seen some cars that were 5-10k. So I wanted to stop and look. Just getting my credit going I didn't want to really have huge payments. We get out and start looking around. Mike then comes out and starts talking to us. He was very polite and not pushy with us. I told him exactly what Price I was looking at. He showed us 3. The 3 rd one was it! 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid for 5888. Wow. The interior was great body was great. But how did it drive you ask? Like a dream. Mike worked with me along with the others to help get this auto financed for me. They were wonderful and made it painless. I left without the guilt of buying myself something expensive, happy with the car and happy with the great service. Thank you so much Mike for all the help. If it wasn't for your service I probably would still be wondering what car I want. Instead I am looking to buy things to improve the car. We had asked him to check on available features and options several times, and he always got back to us quickly. When we got there, he offered us a choice of several cars at the same price, and helped us pick our favorite! Great buying experience. F&I will want to upsell you on extended warranty, prepaid maintenance and cilajet paint sealant ($900), but they're not super pushy about it. Although Dublin Mazda is a little bit far away from our home, compared with dealers in South Bay Area, the service and price we get from them are definitely worth the trip. First of all, a few extra miles saves you a few thousand dollars, why not! Secondly, Michael Barrilleaux, their excellent salesman, is an honest and friendly man. We contacted him via email a few days before we visited, and unlike other dealers, the price he offered on site was exactly the same with what he offered in the email. He didn't play any trick to get our personal information, but directly provided their sales price after calculating some discount. He is a salesman that we can trust. What's more, we always wanted a red Mazda 6 with parchment interior. Most other dealers said only red Mazda 6 iGrand Touring comes with parchment interior, not iTouring. Red iTouring only has black interior. We almost gave up the hope, until we met Michael. What Dublin Mazda had was exactly a red Mazda 6 iTouring with parchment interior. What a lovely surprise! We asked Michael if he could drive the car to a place closer to our home, so that we don't have to take Uber to Dublin Mazda to pick up the car. He agreed without any hesitation. So we met near a Bart Station. After he arrived, he didn't leave us in a hurry, but explained a lot about the car and answered as many questions as we asked. It was already 7pm at night. We spoke with a salesperson before coming and agreed to numbers, than we arrive and are presented with a first pencil that was $125 more per month than we agreed to. We already informed the salesperson that we had Auto industry experience having both worked in auto dealerships and still went through the typical start high work your way low process. Recently purchased a Mazda 3 (Touring Model) for my daughter who will be turning 16. After some initial discussions AND agreement on price with the dealership a young woman from the Finance Department informed us we had to go with Mazda assigned financing versus the pre-approved financing I had from USAA Federal Savings Bank. For those of you who don't know USAA, its a bank established for current and former US Servicemen (Veterans). According to Dublin Mazda, USAA is not a "real" bank, despite the fact it has over 35,000 US employees and $62.54B in holdings. I think the dealerships issue is more with that fact that I'm a veteran and my financing was at a lower rate than they could provide. After refusing the USAA financing we decided to look elsewhere. At this point the young woman from Financing physically retrains my 16 year old daughter and says "I'm sorry your father is being this we I've tried everything to get you into this car". I get deals don't always work out between dealer and customer. This however was an issue of horrible behavior on the part of a Finance representative in front of the salesman. No issue on price, I agreed to the numbers they offered. We drove the 35 minutes to Fremont Mazda and purchased a 2018 Mazda 3 Touring from them. I spoke to our Salesman Anthony on the phone during the drive. When we arrived he had both vehicles that we discussed ready to view and test drive. 90 minutes later we drove off the lot with our new Mazda 3....finance with USAA. Fremont finance never even raised the issue, they accepted the confirmation of funding from the Bank and off we went. read more

Buying a car has never been this easy! I seen a car online. Called in to check the inventory and the car was still available. When I arrived I was greeted by Mike Barrilleaux, he wore a trusting smile and positive attitude. His presence was honest and humble which allowed me to put my guard down and relax during our initial introduction. I test drove the car and instantly knew it was the car for me. Mike answered all my questions without hestitation. I was concerned about the pricing because I noticed the online price was less than the sticker price but without agrument Mike honored the lower price. I thought this experience couldn't get better but it did. Mike and I discussed my desired monthly payment, the finance team worked the numbers out and I walked away the happy owner of a 2011 Nissan Altima. I have to admit I came into this experience skepitcal. As a woman purchasing a car on my own I was ready to play "HardBall" with the dealership and salesmen but honestly I didn't have to do that. I had started a long draft but since it accidentally got deleted, I'll just write a shortened version of my multi-dimensional experience. Had I written this review the day of my car purchase, I would have given it 5 stars. The service was great, thanks to Mike B. and Big Mike. With my experience at other places, I've always encountered the problem of not being taken seriously. Maybe its the fact that this was my very first big-girl car purchase (or bc I'm a female college grad who could pass for an inexperienced high-schooler) but at other dealers, its easy for me to feel intimidated and overwhelmed. None of that here. Mike was patient, knowledgeable, and understanding...I was taken seriously as a customer, but at the same time, it never felt like a war-zone. I already prepared going back to the dealer to get my side trim replaced since it was already discovered as a problem when I was purchasing it....so I didnt mind it as much. However, on day 5, my engine light came on and my faith fell as quickly as it was built up. I also started to realize the window trims were more faded than I remember and spots started to show bc it had sat in the sun at the dealer. At this point, if I had written this review, it would have been down to one star. No new car should ever have to go through these troubles in its first month....but I brought it back to Dublin even though I live 30 mins away and could have gone to Fremont, bc I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and a chance to correct their mistakes and fix the issues they either did or did not have control over. Thanks to the service team, namely Jesse, who probably took 10+ annoying calls from me within the span of a couple weeks, my faith was somewhat restored. I had everything replaced that needed to be fixed, despite a lengthy process of waiting and bringing my car back. My unpleasant experience became tolerable, also thanks to the no-hassle free rentals they provided. But alas..... the deed is done, and I'm finally able to sit in my car and fully enjoy it without worrying about the next service appointment, or the next car part I have to wait for to be delivered. It took about a month for my car to be back in the condition it should have always been in, but the important part is that its back up to par, so for what its worth, its getting 4 stars from me. I'm going to cross my fingers and pray I don't have to come back here or a while. read more

I would like to start off by saying that shopping for a new car has got to be the most stressful and irritating things to do! My experience has been where you have that irritating sales person who attacks you the minute you walk on to the lot, introduces himself and asks what he can do for you, and you tell him, "I'm just looking right now but I will let you know if I need anything, or have any questions" but for some reason he just doesn't get it and precedes to follow you around the lot like you might steel something. I usually end up just leaving the dealership out of pure irritation, until, my most recent venture out to look for a new vehicle this past weekend where I took the time to do my homework on what type of vehicle I was going to look at, as well as the dealerships that I was going to visit (I also researched my trade in value and printed out a True Car discount voucher) and without mentioning any names I left the very first dealership after only being there for five minutes because of everything I mentioned above, and I ended up on a car lot that was not one of the dealerships that I had plans on visiting that day. I believe that fate stepped in, and that for some reason I was led to Dublin Mazda. I began looking at the cars on the lot and was approached by a sales person named Kaz Hartstra who introduced himself, and then I gave him my, "I'm just looking" speech and to my surprise Kaz said okay, take your time and I will be over there if you need anything, and off he went to allow me to walk around and look at the vehicles. I ended up finding a type of car that I had some questions about so I waved to Kaz and he came right over, and without being one of those contemptuous sales person who treats you like you know nothing about cars, he began to do his job of showing me around and answering my questions. Kaz took the time to explain the differences in several different cars, and when I found one that I liked he spent so much time explaining all of the wonderful attributes the car had. Needless to say I purchased a new Mazda3 and I LOVE IT! I can honestly say that my car buying experience at Dublin Mazda was stress free, and everyone there was so kind and helpful and I even felt like I was being treated like family. I had been looking into a second car for commuting and had done enough research to know Mazda's were a great choice. They were on the "Top 10 commuter Car" list. I had looked on line to see what Dubin Mazda's had in stock and saw one I liked so decided to go down and see it in person. It was there, right in front of the sales office. Rey Villa came and greeted me and took me for a drive. Drove it around the block, felt good, asked for numbers on a lease, here you go, and everything was quick and easy. Done deal! I asked if I could go have some dinner while they got all the paperwork ready and that way I could come back and just pick up my new car. While I was away on vacation, a friend who was housesitting called to tell me my 15-year old Toyota 4Runner had died. All I could think about on my 4-hour flight back to the Bay Area was that all of stressed I had released was going to return the moment I had to walk into a car dealership and haggle with somebody over a car. By the time I landed at SFO, I knew the car I wanted--the 2012 Mazda CX-5, had a target price in mind from doing the research on Edmunds, and I'd even located the car online at a Mazda dealer in Oakland. Well the Oakland dealership didn't work out very well. They treated me like gum on their shoes. But next on my list was Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. From the first phone call with sales manager Reyes Garcia, I knew that this was going to be a different experience. I chose the car I wanted to test drive and ultimately purchased. I recently bought a used car from Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. I went by myself for the initial test drive of the car I found on the dealer's website. They treated me the same as if I were purchasing a new car. The salesman, Bruce Bode, was very helpful and answered all my questions. When I took delivery, my few concerns had been met and the car was detailed and ready to go. I highly recommend this dealership. Paula Paula had found a 2006 Miata soft-top, single owner and modest mileage, in our price range. During early discussions, Mr. Bode readily allowed me to take the car to our mechanic in Livermore for inspection. LW found two things needing attention, which the dealership acknowledged and repaired promptly. Negotiation on price was brief and calm, and we settled on a very fair price. I did not receive any special incentives or gifts for writing this review but I do want to give the Ken Harvey Dublin Mazda dealership a 5 Star rating. I visited 4 other dealerships in the bay area specifically looking for a fully loaded 2011 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring SUV. Everywhere I went, the vehicles I looked at were less than optimal from an exterior wear and tear look. Dents, scratches, cracked reflectors, etc. Then I decided to look only at Certified Pre-owned CX-9's and to no avail. Still looking at dents, damage, etc. Then I chanced upon the Dublin Mazda dealership and every single used or certified pre-owned vehicle, not just the CX-9's were immaculate. I mean show room ready. Needless to say, I bought a 2011 Grand Touring CX-9 that was loaded up the hilt. It was also Brilliant Black but still no dents or scratches that I could point out or complain about. Then I got a great deal on the price and an a very happy owner of a low mileage 2011 SUV. I worked with Bruce Bode and he took care of us and stayed late into the night and worked out the best deal I could get and finished up with Big Mike VanBrunt on the Financing. Mike was very knowledgeable and forthcoming on the latest and greatest of deals, warranties, and service contracts and not once did he use any scare tactics or tell you it is now or never on your decisions. I still need to follow up with him as to whether I will buy a service or bumper to bumper warranty or not. I came here after driving by the dealership and seeing a used vehicle they had on display right on Hopyard road. It was a Friday night after 6PM, raining, and quite windy too. But Kaz was still more than willing to help me. The vehicle I wanted was an older truck, and not very expensive at all. Regardless of the price, KAZ was informative and genuine. I bought the truck, and a few days later had noticed a noise coming from what I thought might be the fan belt. I took it to the dealership for them to look at (unannounced), and Kaz came out right as I pulled up to see what was wrong. We figured out the problem, fixed it, and I was on my way in less than an hour. I had also worked with John and Big Mike in the finance department after Kaz and I had a deal on the truck.
