Buying a car has never been this easy! I seen a car online. Called in to check the inventory and the car was still available. When I arrived I was greeted by Mike Barrilleaux, he wore a trusting smile and positive attitude. His presence was honest and humble which allowed me to put my guard down and relax during our initial introduction. I test drove the car and instantly knew it was the car for me. Mike answered all my questions without hestitation. I was concerned about the pricing because I noticed the online price was less than the sticker price but without agrument Mike honored the lower price. I thought this experience couldn't get better but it did. Mike and I discussed my desired monthly payment, the finance team worked the numbers out and I walked away the happy owner of a 2011 Nissan Altima. I have to admit I came into this experience skepitcal. As a woman purchasing a car on my own I was ready to play "HardBall" with the dealership and salesmen but honestly I didn't have to do that. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I was making this transaction with the entire Dublin Mazda staff. Calling Mike Barrilleaux at Dublin Mazda was a great decision. read more

Bought a CX-9 at the end of March from Juan - Great experience: He offered us a very good price, and we love our new SUV. Later, stopped in with questions we hadn't been able to figure out from our manual, and Michael B, their "tech" person, was very happy to help us out. We highly recommend this dealer! read more

Kaz & Reyes were great through the whole process. The customer service standard is wonderful here, not pushy like at most dealerships. They allowed me to come for the car I was interested in & gave me a good deal on my trade in as well as my purchase. read more

I had started a long draft but since it accidentally got deleted, I'll just write a shortened version of my multi-dimensional experience. Had I written this review the day of my car purchase, I would have given it 5 stars. The service was great, thanks to Mike B. and Big Mike. With my experience at other places, I've always encountered the problem of not being taken seriously. Maybe its the fact that this was my very first big-girl car purchase (or bc I'm a female college grad who could pass for an inexperienced high-schooler) but at other dealers, its easy for me to feel intimidated and overwhelmed. None of that here. Mike was patient, knowledgeable, and understanding...I was taken seriously as a customer, but at the same time, it never felt like a war-zone. I already prepared going back to the dealer to get my side trim replaced since it was already discovered as a problem when I was purchasing it....so I didnt mind it as much. However, on day 5, my engine light came on and my faith fell as quickly as it was built up. I also started to realize the window trims were more faded than I remember and spots started to show bc it had sat in the sun at the dealer. At this point, if I had written this review, it would have been down to one star. No new car should ever have to go through these troubles in its first month....but I brought it back to Dublin even though I live 30 mins away and could have gone to Fremont, bc I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and a chance to correct their mistakes and fix the issues they either did or did not have control over. Thanks to the service team, namely Jesse, who probably took 10+ annoying calls from me within the span of a couple weeks, my faith was somewhat restored. I had everything replaced that needed to be fixed, despite a lengthy process of waiting and bringing my car back. My unpleasant experience became tolerable, also thanks to the no-hassle free rentals they provided. But alas..... the deed is done, and I'm finally able to sit in my car and fully enjoy it without worrying about the next service appointment, or the next car part I have to wait for to be delivered. It took about a month for my car to be back in the condition it should have always been in, but the important part is that its back up to par, so for what its worth, its getting 4 stars from me. I'm going to cross my fingers and pray I don't have to come back here or a while. read more

Great sales representative. Fast and easy. Excellent service.

Garth was terrific as we went through the process of buying a new 2015 Mazda 3. He was patient, low pressure, even to the point of recommending an old collegue at another dealership when we said we were comparing to a VW. We came back and completed the sale at Dublin Mazda. We would definately recommend the buying experience here. Thanks Garth! read more

*****New vehicle purchase experience***** Dublin Mazda has a solid team of proessionals. If you're looking to buy a new Mazda, I highly recommend going to Dublin Mazda - ask for Bruce Bode. Bruce was very pleasant and has great product knowledge. The sales manager, Reyes Garcia, was also a "straight-shooter". Big Mike in Finance knew the drill and completed the process quick! Pricing - these guys earned the business with an honest, fair approach to pricing. I shopped around and they were the most honest. I've purchased a number of cars in my life - this was the best experience yet. These guys also earned my first Yelp review! read more

I'm 50 and have purchased a lot of cars through the years for work and personal use. My recent transaction was the easiest ever. The negotiations were all of 5 minutes. None of that sitting in the office for two hours with the back and forth to wear you down. I don't have the time or patience for playing games. The finance guy had paper work done without any waiting. I still can't believe how easy it was. Really appreciate both Garth and Reyes. These guys are interested in lifetime customers. I'll be back! read more

Now this is the dealership you have to buy your next car from. Garth Wall, Fleet Manager, was a pleasure to work with. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. No hassles, no gimmicks, no pressure what so ever. All of which are key when purchasing a new or used vehicle. John Sutfin, Finance Director, also provided exceptional customer service. From the service department to the sales department, Dublin Mazda rocks!! read more

I would like to start off by saying that shopping for a new car has got to be the most stressful and irritating things to do! My experience has been where you have that irritating sales person who attacks you the minute you walk on to the lot, introduces himself and asks what he can do for you, and you tell him, "I'm just looking right now but I will let you know if I need anything, or have any questions" but for some reason he just doesn't get it and precedes to follow you around the lot like you might steel something. I usually end up just leaving the dealership out of pure irritation, until, my most recent venture out to look for a new vehicle this past weekend where I took the time to do my homework on what type of vehicle I was going to look at, as well as the dealerships that I was going to visit (I also researched my trade in value and printed out a True Car discount voucher) and without mentioning any names I left the very first dealership after only being there for five minutes because of everything I mentioned above, and I ended up on a car lot that was not one of the dealerships that I had plans on visiting that day. I believe that fate stepped in, and that for some reason I was led to Dublin Mazda. I began looking at the cars on the lot and was approached by a sales person named Kaz Hartstra who introduced himself, and then I gave him my, "I'm just looking" speech and to my surprise Kaz said okay, take your time and I will be over there if you need anything, and off he went to allow me to walk around and look at the vehicles. I ended up finding a type of car that I had some questions about so I waved to Kaz and he came right over, and without being one of those contemptuous sales person who treats you like you know nothing about cars, he began to do his job of showing me around and answering my questions. Kaz took the time to explain the differences in several different cars, and when I found one that I liked he spent so much time explaining all of the wonderful attributes the car had. Needless to say I purchased a new Mazda3 and I LOVE IT! I can honestly say that my car buying experience at Dublin Mazda was stress free, and everyone there was so kind and helpful and I even felt like I was being treated like family. The entire car buying experience from start to finish, was the best that I have ever had, and I will definitely recommend Dublin Mazda to everyone I know who is planning on buying a new car. read more

Really happy with our new CX-5 and our whole experience at Dublin Mazda. Garth was great to work with... Thanks!!!

I had been looking into a second car for commuting and had done enough research to know Mazda's were a great choice. They were on the "Top 10 commuter Car" list. I had looked on line to see what Dubin Mazda's had in stock and saw one I liked so decided to go down and see it in person. It was there, right in front of the sales office. Rey Villa came and greeted me and took me for a drive. Drove it around the block, felt good, asked for numbers on a lease, here you go, and everything was quick and easy. Done deal! I asked if I could go have some dinner while they got all the paperwork ready and that way I could come back and just pick up my new car. Rey even offered to follow my husband home to help us get what was now 3 cars home! He was very helpful along with Finance and even the Sales Manager made it out to say thank you and good-bye before I left with my brand new commuter car. I will be planning be bringing my car into the Dublin dealership for all my standard services required. No issues, straight forward, hands down the best car buying experience EVER for me. read more

Like most potential buyers these days, I had already done my homework online before ever setting foot on the lot. So when Lance Quevillon from Sales kindly introduced himself to me at my first visit, I was ready to skip a lot of the expected pleasantries and cut to the chase. Immediately though, I was disarmed by the respectful way in Lance treated me like an intelligent consumer, simply there to help me fine tune my research. As it turned out, there were still a lot little things I didn't know about the model I was there to buy (CX-5) and he was more than willing to tell me all about each feature and the associated benefits, but only after he got a thorough understanding of how and why I was shopping in the first place. While he's there to sell cars, it became clear to me that Lance knows that these Mazdas will sell, and so he wasn't needing to sell ME a car. From start to finish (which included a number of visits with corresponding emails and texts) over a a number of weeks, Lance was professional and personable and made my ultimate choice one that was extremely informed, unhurried, and a real pleasure - one without a single regret - and, one that wouldn't have happened if he had not worked so hard to find just the right vehicle that had only the features I wanted and then was willing to drive about 80 miles round trip to go get it in time for a family trip. Amazing! John in Finance was equally as non-pressuring and informative, even taking time to help me with some final choices well after their closing hour, without ever feeing rushed. As I have dealt with Service and Parts for a few standard (and even above and beyond) visits since then, each and every part of the dealership has matched the excellent first impression I received from Lance on that very first visit. I can't recommend these guys enough! Oh, and the CX-5 is awesome, too! read more

My bf and I came here just "window-browsing" for a car........ Our plan was just to spend no more than 20-30 minutes..as I was super hungry and tired. As we were looking to see what cars were available.....we heard a voice that did not sound like a typical car salesman...(the kind that would make a person put up their guard and make a run for it....so as to avoid getting bum-rushed into a deal you didn't care for....)........but one of which was friendly yet professional. I took notice of his name tag which had the job title, "Fleet Manager." His name was Garth. Just after a few minutes of talking with Garth,.....I could tell he really wanted to meet our needs and make this trip to the car dealership well worth our time. And indeed this trip was well worth it.....Garth not only worked with us to ensure our needs and wants were met....but he also made the experience of buying a Certified used car a smooth and an enjoyable one. He gave us our space for my bf and I to talk amongst ourselves when we requested.....and was very respectful and kind. Garth was not just a Fleet Manager that sold a car,...but he was a down-to-earth individual that can make you laugh (especially when he guided me to sit in the passenger seat....and took my shoes off for me....as he knew I did not want to go in a possible car my bf just may purchase with shoes I myself would not wear driving in my own car. (Why you may ask...? Let's just say some Bart Stations are not very sanitary....) In summary....We are yelping Garth Wall at the Dublin Mazda dealership because we would like to say first and foremost.... "Thank you Garth! We appreciate you for being not just a car Salesman, but a friendly and good-hearted soul that knows what quality customer service is. It is with your type of quality customer service that makes all the difference for a business and more importantly....an impact on a customer's new investment. Keep up the great work! You are a strong asset to the Mazda Motor Corporation!" As for our rating of Garth and his ability to deliver Quality and Professional Customer Service.....we rate Garth Wall Five stars. And if we may....here are 5 more stars ***** ! :) P.S. Garth's Manager, John, was also very pleasant when we interacted with him too. Thank you John for having Garth on your Team! read more

This place has the best customer service that you could hope for. Jonathan, the Sales Manager, pulled strings on his off day on separate occasions to buy not one, but two different Mazda purchases for our family. They gave us a very fair price and even fixed a problem with my current Mazda from another dealership at no-charge. On top of that, they offered to have it cleaned for me. George, who I affectionately refer to as "G-Lo", was very helpful and friendly. Stephanie is new but really knew her cars and helped us get the car we wanted before another couple could grab it from us. They really make you feel like one of the family here. John from Finance helped us with our lease purchases even though we had 2 complicated situations with short credit history. I plan on going back when we need another car in the family. If I could give 6 starts I would! read more

Except for Eddie there is NO ONE helpful at this dealership! I found a neat 6-speed 2016 Mazda6 Sedan i Touring Manual (hard to find) that I really wanted but had no way of getting over to Dublin from Modesto. They were no help! They also own Tracy Mazda (a Ken Harvey dealership as well) and they wouldn't even transfer the car to that dealership so I could have shorter pick-up (I am a senior citizen), but NO, they said that was not possible. Also, they called and said they were having a sale on New/Used Mazdas but would tell me the sale price without going all the way over there (58 miles!). They don't give a crap for potential customers, especially this dude Roger whom I really don't like to deal with, rather deal with Eddie. Now they don't even respond to my requests. If you want great customer service you won't get it done at Dublin Mazda. I found a Mazda6 i Sport here in Modesto but it's not Red nor a Manual. Very discouraged in this dealership. Ken Harvey should be ashamed of the service I've received. After seeing some of the reviews here about your service it's a blessing I never got the car. BTW, the people at Tracy Mazda (owned by same company have a reputation as one of the worst as well). Go to Elk Grove Mazda: true pros. read more

After 12 years with my Chrysler, I was ready to buy a new car. I did extensive research on line visited 6 dealerships and communicated with a number of salespeople before deciding to purchase a Mazda 3 at Dublin Mazda. I live in Clayton so it would make sense for me to go with my local dealership Concord Mazda however I was so impressed with Michael Barrileaux that I decided to drive the extra distance to Dublin (which is a 45 minute drive) to work with him. Michael was easy to work with and highly knowledgeable about his products. When he told me that he would find me the car that I wanted I believed him and he came through for me. Throughout the entire car selection process, during and after the sale I feel Michael is only a phone call away from getting my questions answered or taking needed action. While waiting on my leather install Michael drove far beyond Dublin Mazda's designated shuttle service area to pick me up and drop me off at my doorstep. The only reason I am holding out on the 5th star is that the paperwork part of the transaction took far longer than it should have. After negotiating a price with Michael my husband and I were referred to the finance guy who I found to be irritating and a bit relentless trying up sell me on warranties and sealants that I had already declined. read more

Came in to purchase a new Mazda 3 for my mom, and gave Dublin Mazda a shot. We were greeted by Savaun Davis as we walked in toward the front office. From that point on I knew we were in good hands. He was very attentive at answering our questions and not pushing us too hard at any point during our stay. He was knowledgeable on the specific cars we were asking about and helped my mother feel at ease while teaching us about the new features and electronics of the car. During financing and negotiations he listened to our concerns, made us feel comfortable, and ultimately agreed to purchase a 2017 Mazda 3 Touring. My mother couldn't have been happier with the purchase, and wouldn't have had a better experience buying a new car from anywhere else. I would have to give the majority of the credit to Savaun for our great experience at Dublin Mazda. Everyone else we meet including the owner was very pleasant as well! read more

After going to Fremont Mazda to try and find my dream car, I end up leaving disappointed and insulted at their sales department for trying to force me into a finance deal I was not comfortable with. In the midst of me providing a counter offer, this man abruptly leaves and tells me to "stop wasting his time". 15 hours later, I get in contact with Michael Barrilleaux at Dublin Mazda and set up an appointment with him. Once I get to the dealership, Michael immediately gets to work to ensure I not only feel at home, but allows me to browse through vehicles to fine the *one*. Michael connects me with George Lodato who is an absolute pleasure to work with! George helped me find my dream car, a soul red CX-5 and ensured that I was happy with the price and deal. Unlike Fremont Mazda, George LISTENED to what my needs were and I never felt pressured to commit to something I was uncomfortable with. He gave me options and let me take my time in deciding what I wanted. George made me feel valued, heard, and treated me like family. TAKE NOTE FREMONT MAZDA. This is how you do customer service. While I was away on vacation, a friend who was housesitting called to tell me my 15-year old Toyota 4Runner had died. All I could think about on my 4-hour flight back to the Bay Area was that all of stressed I had released was going to return the moment I had to walk into a car dealership and haggle with somebody over a car. By the time I landed at SFO, I knew the car I wanted--the 2012 Mazda CX-5, had a target price in mind from doing the research on Edmunds, and I'd even located the car online at a Mazda dealer in Oakland. Well the Oakland dealership didn't work out very well. They treated me like gum on their shoes. But next on my list was Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. From the first phone call with sales manager Reyes Garcia, I knew that this was going to be a different experience. I chose the car I wanted to test drive and ultimately purchased. Underscore "I chose." No one tried to steer me in any direction. There was no pressure. Everyone I met there was respectful and courteous and seemed genuinely appreciative of my business. When I left the dealership, I had the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay and I have not had one second of buyer's remorse. I will happily recommend this dealership to my friends (and have already started). This is how it should be when you buy a car. read more

I recently bought a used car from Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. I went by myself for the initial test drive of the car I found on the dealer's website. They treated me the same as if I were purchasing a new car. The salesman, Bruce Bode, was very helpful and answered all my questions. When I took delivery, my few concerns had been met and the car was detailed and ready to go. I highly recommend this dealership. Paula Paula had found a 2006 Miata soft-top, single owner and modest mileage, in our price range. During early discussions, Mr. Bode readily allowed me to take the car to our mechanic in Livermore for inspection. LW found two things needing attention, which the dealership acknowledged and repaired promptly. Negotiation on price was brief and calm, and we settled on a very fair price. This transaction was smooth throughout, and everyone we met was pleasant, upbeat and accommodating. We're plenty happy about our experience with Dublin Mazda. And Paula is ecstatic about her Miata ... and that's the most important part, isn't it? Wes read more

OMG! Just have to say that we just took our car in for the 1000 mile check up and Tyler was awesome! Dear Ken Harvey, I have left absolutely insulted from your Dublin Mazda dealership. Derogatory, and plainly abusive terms like "mooch", that were used by your sales manager [name withheld] were shocking, to say the least. I was negotiating a cash purchase for one of you SUVs. I would like to assume that this is not how you have grown your business. It seems that customer respect, of any kind, is all but lost at your Dublin Mazda dealership. Needless to say, I am extremely, extremely, disappointed. Sincerely. read more

I did not receive any special incentives or gifts for writing this review but I do want to give the Ken Harvey Dublin Mazda dealership a 5 Star rating. I visited 4 other dealerships in the bay area specifically looking for a fully loaded 2011 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring SUV. Everywhere I went, the vehicles I looked at were less than optimal from an exterior wear and tear look. Dents, scratches, cracked reflectors, etc. Then I decided to look only at Certified Pre-owned CX-9's and to no avail. Still looking at dents, damage, etc. Then I chanced upon the Dublin Mazda dealership and every single used or certified pre-owned vehicle, not just the CX-9's were immaculate. I mean show room ready. Needless to say, I bought a 2011 Grand Touring CX-9 that was loaded up the hilt. It was also Brilliant Black but still no dents or scratches that I could point out or complain about. Then I got a great deal on the price and an a very happy owner of a low mileage 2011 SUV. I worked with Bruce Bode and he took care of us and stayed late into the night and worked out the best deal I could get and finished up with Big Mike VanBrunt on the Financing. Mike was very knowledgeable and forthcoming on the latest and greatest of deals, warranties, and service contracts and not once did he use any scare tactics or tell you it is now or never on your decisions. I still need to follow up with him as to whether I will buy a service or bumper to bumper warranty or not. I feel like I received a fair price and a no haggle deal from Bruce and Big Mike so I would recommend all car buyers to visit Dublin Mazda and see Bruce Bode for a good deal on a new or used or certified pre-owned vehicle!!! read more

My wife and I were recently in the market for a larger vehicle to haul around the family. We started looking around and decided that the CX-9 was the vehicle for us. We have been to multiple dealerships for multiple companies and working with Dublin Mazda has been the best dealership experience we have ever had. I came here after driving by the dealership and seeing a used vehicle they had on display right on Hopyard road. It was a Friday night after 6PM, raining, and quite windy too. But Kaz was still more than willing to help me. The vehicle I wanted was an older truck, and not very expensive at all. Regardless of the price, KAZ was informative and genuine. I bought the truck, and a few days later had noticed a noise coming from what I thought might be the fan belt. I took it to the dealership for them to look at (unannounced), and Kaz came out right as I pulled up to see what was wrong. We figured out the problem, fixed it, and I was on my way in less than an hour. I had also worked with John and Big Mike in the finance department after Kaz and I had a deal on the truck. I was impressed with how accommodating they all were to make my sale possible. I definitely recommend going here, especially if you request to work with these three during the process. read more

I am MORE THAN PLEASED with my experience at Dublin Mazda yesterday. Last weekend I drove multiple cars trying to narrow down which one I wanted to go with and when I came on the lot I told Juan (sales) that I just wanted to test drive and that was it. Sure enough, instead of trying to lure us in after the test drive "for a great deal!" like all the other sales at other dealerships, Juan just said "if you have any more questions or are interested in buying, give me a call!" It was so refreshing, and he was the reason that I came back to Dublin Mazda and not somewhere closer to my house. Once I decided I wanted the 2015 Mazda 3 i Grand Touring, we gave Roger Thurman (sales consultant) a call, and he was more than helpful to give us the best price and to credit Juan with the sale. We seriously got a great deal! And when Wells Fargo screwed us over on financing (that's a whole other story), John Sutfin in financing was more than helpful in giving us the best financing possible. I really felt like these guys actually cared about my situation and the fact that it was my first brand new car! I am so happy that I went to Dublin Mazda! I recommend them for anyone! They were all so nice and accommodating! I really feel great about my purchase and I got the best deal possible! And I am so in love with my car! I can't say enough great things about this dealership. P.S. Reyes in sales was also fantastic! Gave us a great and fair price on my trade in! read more

The only reason why I came back to this dealership is Keith Morita! Keith is a true gem whose sole professional goal is to connect the right car with the right person. Even if none of the excellent Mazda lineup cars works for you at the end of the day, Keith will see you off with the same open smile and firm handshake he greeted you with. That is because Keith understands that personal experiences, passion for the brand you promote, and friends you make along the way are far more valuable than the shallow race for profits. We purchased a car at Dublin Mazda in 2013. When we went to renew registration the following spring DMW told us told our car wasn't registered to us. After dozens of calls to DMV and the dealer, it was thought to be sorted out - there has been an error on Dublin Mazda's end when registering the VIN with the DMV. We eventually got a new set of plates and for two years, had no problems. I paid off the vehicle in 2016. This summer I was stopped by CHP for having expired tags and was perplexed since I hadn't been sent a renewal letter. More concerning was that the officer who stopped me told me that records showed someone else being the owner of my car! So they gave me a ticket and then I've spent the last three months trying to get this sorted out - time off of work to go to the DMV and get a VIN verification, hours on the phone, intensely stressful conversations, money out of my pocket to pay for tickets and travel all over the bay area as I try to rectify an error from 2013 that is persisting and has yet to be cleared up. DMV says that Dublin Mazda messed up in the initial attempt to correct the purchase error resulting in the registration reverting to the old error. No one at Dublin Mazda has given me a clear answer as to what went wrong and has been incredibly shady about the entire thing. Records are "lost," employees are "gone," calls go unanswered. As it stands now, the DMV record shows multiple owners for my car - a car that we purchased new and now have no basis by which to claim that I'm the original owner. This is a clear financial loss for me. The level of incompetence and inability to correct and mitigate the impacts of Dublin Mazda's error is staggering. read more

My wife had made up her mind to pick up a Mazda 3 hatchback. We got in touch with Ken harveys dublin mazda and i spoke with Michael Barrilleaux. Mike was warm, friendly and was willing to answer all the queries i had. Being new to the US i had a lot of queries around financing and he was patient in explaining this to me. We went over to the showroom the very next day and Mike was there to receive us and provide us with as much info as we needed for us to make the decision. We bought the car the same day and my wife was thrilled to drive away in her new brand new mazda 3 - 2015 model. Thanks mike for making this buy a pleasurable one and also for keeping my 7 year old entertained while we were going through the paperwork. Great place, friendly staff, knowledgeable and up to date and i strongly recommend this place for your new or used mazda. read more
