I bought a 2023 Kia Stinger in Utah (not from here, they wanted like $6,000+ markup, and I ain't playing that game). There were delivery issues where I got it, and that dealership said they'd pay for it to be fixed. That dealership is awesome. They did exactly that. Fast forward to this car. I took this car in a couple of weeks ago to have the HUD and instrument panel screen replaced, and I came back to a mess. There were bolts in the cup holder, wires hanging down, and damage to trim pieces. I tried to communicate to them but they ignored me. I fixed the missing bolts and the wires hanging down myself because I was too afraid they'd damage my brand new car again, fixing their previous mistakes. I traded that car in for another 2023 Stinger Tribute Edition from the same Utah dealer, and I will NEVER bring another car back here. If I buy a $60,000 car, I SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE A $60,000 CAR CUSTOMER it doesn't matter from whom I purchased the car. They also bragged about how heavy they charged the other dealership like we're best friends getting payback on a bad actor. How slimey! If you drive a nice Kia, go somewhere else. This ain't it. I was in the market for a new EV. I initially send in a internet request on a specific model. I also decided to call the dealership and was connected to Larry Clark who is a sales associate. Larry was so helpful with giving me the information about the vehicle I wanted. I set up a time with him and when I went into the dealership, he had the car ready to be looked and answered every question that I had. I didn't feel rushed or any pressure tactics that some dealerships that I have encountered in the past. Excellent customer service. I bought the vehicle. While I was waiting to go into the finance office the sales manager Mohammad Nader came over and introduced himself to me. Now I also selling vice trading my vehicle to the dealership. Mohammad gave me a fair honest price for my vehicle. He couldn't have been nicer and very professional. The finance manager also knew his business and was a pleasure to deal with and talk too. We had gone to another Kia dealership in the morning and had a horrible experience. I am very happy that we decided to go to Dublin Kia. We were greeted by several people and treated very nicely by the sales person that we worked with. All of our questions were answered, and they were very straightforward with the price from the beginning. They did not add on any extra fees or hidden things in the final contract. This has been said multiple times on Yelp. If Yelp reviews would let you do ZERO star reviews, this would definitely be a prime example of one. This review is in regards to Kia Dublin's poor service staff and possibly being scammed. We had brought our Kia Forte for service on 9/10/2022 for its first routine maintenance at 4500 miles. Once my dad was all done and brought the car home, I went over the paperwork with him to see what maintenance was performed. Come to find out, multiple items were replaced which should not have been due to mileage and age if the car ie. cabin filter and some other parts. Also multiple gas additives and engine oil additives were used in the car as well which should never be used on a newer vehicle with low mileage. After reviewing the paperwork, I decided to call the service staff at Kia Dublin to question why was my Dad charged for this amount of unnecessary work. I attempted to call a total of 9 times that day, with NO ONE from service to assist me. I kept getting forwarded to a receptionist which keep transferring me to service, which resulted in no one answering! I decided just to stop trying and give them a call on Monday 9/12 with the assumption more people would be there to assist. The next day after the service, we were leaving the house, and once backing up off the driveway, we come to find a nice small puddle of engine oil that had been leaking on the driveway over night. I then parked the car, placed an oil catch pan underneath to see how much was leaking, and around couple hours later another puddle was formed on the pan. Fast forward to 9/12 (today). I have been calling since 7:30am, total of 12 times today, been given the run around, no service person has answered my calls, receptionist/parts people have been leaving notes to the service mgr to call me back, with still no response/callback from them. Honestly the car will be making a return back to this dealership for getting whatever needs to be fixed for the issues that came about from 9/10 service but will not be making its return back to the place for future service. I am truly disappointed that this newer Kia service can operate like this and be ok with it. I will be escalating this issue and chain of events to a higher source so Kia is aware that they have Dealerships/service that are operating with poor business ethics as we as horrible professionalism when it comes to customer service. read more

I came here a year ago for engine service Alan was excellent and informative. This time around TRASH. My vehicle was there for a MONTH NO WORK DONE. Didn't get an update until week later with diagnostic results. I told them to move forward with the repairs. Russell informed me one part will be on back order but the other will arrive in a few days. I told Russell to fix the main issue FIRST since it will arrive sooner, then I would like my vehicle back while we wait on back order part. I let 1 1/2weeks go by no call. I left Russell several messages within this time frame. No call back. Called service desk, rep informed me Russell was on vacation she transferred me to Kevin's VM. Kevin called me 4 days later with an annoyed tone as if I was bothering him and it was an issue to call and said there's no loaner car for you. He said the part was there they'll get it done within a few days he'll call me back, I let him know also to do the main part so I can get my car back. He said ok. NO CALL BACK. I let a week and 4 days go by. I left a message for Kevin again trying to get an update. No call back. Went in 2 days later(today) for Russell to tell me my vehicle hasn't been touched theyre waiting on the parts. I asked how if Kevin said the main part was here 2 weeks ago. I stood there and waited 10mins for Russell to look for his phone to call Kevin and "talk" to the tech. For him to come back and ask can you give me 5 mins for your paperwork. Dealership ruined my ceramic coated car: scratches and swirls I took my car in for a regular oil change and to check a safety recall. My car is only 8 months old I purchased it brand new at that dealership. I had got it ceramic coated a couple weeks after purchasing. The paint was perfect. After picking my car up they tell me they gave it a wash which In my opinion should be asked about prior. Because I would have declined. I asked about what kind of car wash & I explained that the car is ceramic coated. I went on to explain how automatic car washes causes swirls and can pickup rocks causing chips. The sales rep russel said its not a great wash but unlick the rubber at carwashes he said its microfiber used. I went to examine my car and with in a second I noticed the damage. There was very obvious swirls in the paint and chips that were not there before. I asked about the damage and expressed that I was upset. The manager said Kaya my service rep took photos before the service that they can use to "prove" they did not cause the damage. The manager and a couple of his service reps looked at the pictures and did not speak to me, they went back and forth from the car to the photos. He brought out his higher manager who would not speak to me either, and after everything he took me to the car and explained that the damage wasnt there fault. He said car washes dont damage paint. He also made a comment and said the damage would require a new paint job??? I let him know I was still upset and asked what the next steps would be. the manager said the next steps would be to not get a wash the next time I come for service... I told him with this experience I would not be coming back for service He shrugged his shoulders and was ready to send me home. I asked about his pictures that were suppose to clear the situation up and he said it wasnt clear & they were too blury to see any damage...there just wasnt any damage to see. I asked if i could look at the photos and he sent me back inside to see the service rep kaya. who was kind and emailed me the pictures. unfortunately the email he sent quickly became unavailable that same day.. I dont know if this means they un sent them or deleted them but this more so makes me feel that they know they ARE in fact at fault. I spent about an hour looking at the photos with Kaya while he sent them and he zoomed in on them for me. there was no damage pictured. All this time the manager disappeared and had not come back. I asked kaya if his manager is coming back because I would like to finish talking to him. he let me know his manager would not be coming back. I left extremely disappointed, frustrated and overall angry. My ceramic coating was not cheap. the paint was in perfect condition before bringing it to Dublin KIA. Its going to cost me upward of 2 grand to fix. Dont recommend coming here. read more

We bought a Kia Soul from them. They were one of the few dealerships nearby selling without markup. (There was a technology pack added but these were featured we wanted). The issue was with terrible sales support and customer care. We noticed a small problem with the car 3 days after purchase and called sales people. They asked us to come in on Monday at 8 AM to get car looked at. I got late and reached at 9. Salesperson checked the issue but said service was swamped that day and that they'll book appointment for Tuesday 9 AM. I arrive at 9 AM on Tuesday, go to service and get told there's no appointment. Service staff was nice and gentleman there remembered conversation with sales staff, so they took the car in. Without appointment, they couldn't guarantee the fix in same day. They couldn't get me a ride since I stay more than 10 miles away and didn't have loaner cars. So I asked the salespeople because this was clearly their screw up and they repeated same line about 10 mile and no loaner car service. In the end, I ended up taking my own Lyft back home because they didn't get their act together. I'd still recommend them for sales. Service staff were also nice. However, don't take the sales staff's word once the sale is done, verify your appointments, and don't count on them to own up to their mixups. read more

I'm only giving 3 stars because they fixed my car under warranty and it saved me a few thousand dollars. However, the communication with the service department is horrendous. I dropped my car off to them in June and when it first arrived I was given a link that was supposed to update me on the status of my car. An entire month went by and I hadn't been told anything and after reaching out several times I was finally contacted a month and a half later and was told my service technician kept calling out sick and the status of my car was still pending. A few more weeks went by and I contacted them again because at this point I had not been given a courtesy car or any update on my car. Once the two month mark hit and after finally getting in touch with someone in service I was given a loaner vehicle which I truly appreciated. I was told they were still waiting on approval of whether my car could be fixed under warranty. Another month went by and I wasn't told any status. Then finally this past week I was told my car had been ready for weeks but I had only been called once. When I went to pick up my car my assigned service tech was not there but I was told everything had been fixed. Well to my surprise my battery was dead upon leaving and Kia had to give me a jump. When I got home my car wouldn't even start again so I called triple A and they confirmed that during the 3 months of my car being in the shop, Kia just let my battery die and never charged it while it was in service. I was forced to buy a new battery within an hour of picking up my car at the dealership. Not only that but my dash screen is no longer working either! Lastly, after my car being there for 3 months, it was returned to me filthy. I have had my car serviced at other Kia dealerships in the Bay Area and they have always washed and cleaned my car before returning it back to me but it's obvious Dublin Kia just let my car sit and accumulate dust. I was told my service tech would reach out to me the following day to go over everything that was done with my car and to express the concerns of the state of my car when I picked it up but still have not heard back. Overall, almost every single person I came in contact with at Kia was rude in some way. With the exception of the lady who handled the loaner car paperwork and the lady who released my car back to me the day I picked it up. read more

We purchased a used car from this dealership in January of this year. We had a good experience with our sales rep Larry and Essa but when the remote within a month of purchase started glitching and not opening the doors we reached out to the dealership. Since then we have been pushed from one person to the next promising we will be taken care of. It has now been almost 2 months with numerous text and emails and still no remote. The sales manager response was it was an after market remote and they couldn't do anything about it. We didn't purchase this remote this is what they gave us. I reached out to the general manager Shah who assured me it would be taken care that was in March. Amir reached out and said it had been ordered still we are at the end of April and the issue has not been resolved. This is just one of the issues we have had with this dealership. We just purchased a used VW Golf at Dublin Kia. Overall, the process was good, but they insisted that the car must come with a Spartan tracking system (like LoJack) for $1000, plus another 10% tax. We asked that they remove it and not charge us for this accessory, but they said all their cars come with it and they don't remove the tracking device. We wanted the car and paid for the tracker, but once we drove an hour home they called to say they forgot to connect it and we have to bring the car back to turn on the service we did not want!! Edit FIRST TIME BUYERS/INEXPERIENCED BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! I bought a 2015 Chevy Camaro from this dealership a few months back and at first I was happy. I had never bought a car before so they made it seem easy enough. It wasn't until I went into a different dealership to trade in my car that I realized they grossly overcharged me. I paid 25k for a car that was in an accident in the past. My cars valued at 14k max, I can't get a trade in quote for anything more then that due to its past. This review is for the sales team. We showed up at 10am to test drive and buy a used vehicle they had listed online on their website and car gurus. When I got there I was told it was not at the lot but would be back by 1. We decided to wait as we were pretty set on buying this car and they assured us the car would definitely be available later that afternoon. So we went and did some shopping at the nearby outlets. We came back and were told it would be ready around 2:30, so we took our kids to Boomers and spent even more money killing time waiting for the car to be ready. I called back at 2:30 and was told the car was back but was getting a smog and safety check and I could come back tomorrow. We had drove 1.5 hours to see the vehicle, and wasted the entire day waiting for the vehicle. I asked to speak to the sales manager who I had spoken to earlier on the phone and in person. He said the car still hadn't even been returned and he had no control over when someone was going to bring the car back. He also snidely reminded me that he didn't know I was coming because I didn't make an appointment. I have been searching for a car for over a week and have test driven many, none of which I was ever required to make an appointment for, much less wait around 5 hours to see and still never even see the vehicle. Details below but here is a quick summary. MY 12 VDC battery died in my 2022 KIA EV6. Kia service confirmed the battery was bad and that there did not appear to be a parasitic drain from the vehicle. KIA Refused to replace the battery even though it was under warranty. Details: My 2022 KIA EV6 (GT LINE) with 21,000 miles died on me on a recent errand. (Not while driving). I was 40 miles from home and my car would not start. I called KIA Connect, and described the symptoms. The symptoms were that the car would not respond to the key FOB after opening the driver door. After trying to start the car, my emergency flasher lights were on solid inside and out (but not blinking). And nothing else. no display of any kind on the dash board. No door locks, no liftgate, no accessory mode. It was basically frozen/dead. After I explained these symptoms to KIA Connect (KC), they said to try to reset the head unit, which did nothing. They said I needed to tow it to a dealer for service. KC transferred me to KIA Roadside Assistance. The driver, (from a third party towing company), called me for my exact location and I explained what my symptoms were. The driver, from the tow company, said it was likely my 12 V battery. When he arrived, he connected my 12 V battery to a tester and the battery only read 5.7 V, not nearly enough to start the car. He then connected the battery to a portable 12 V charge pack, and my car started right up. No need to tow... time on site with the tow guy was about 5 minutes. 5 MINUTES!!!!! KIA Connect wanted me to tow the vehicle. Apparently, this is a common problem with the EV6 (as with other electric cars and hybrids). Got the car home, disconnected the negative battery terminal and charged the battery overnight... reached 13.2 volts by the morning. Reconnected and started running some errands. Side note: After being stranded, the day before, i invested about $75 in a portable car charger. It was a good investment because later that day my car died again. So I'm thinking parasitic battery drain since the car is only about 18 months old. Called the dealer and got an appointment for the following day. Took my car to KIA Dublin but they had no EV Certified service tech so had to wait until the following week before someone could even run diagnostics. After one full week at the dealership, they said that (1) they could find nothing wrong with the car, specifically, they cou believe he was constrained by corporate policy, so he gets a pass. He was friendly and a good communicator, he just always had bad news. I actually felt bad for him because he has to work for a company that will not honor their contractual commitment!!!! As for my car... up until then I really liked it. Now I don't trust it and my wife won't even drive it anymore. Sad really. Seems KIA still has a long way to go before they are a trustworthy EV Car company. Everything I said in here is 100% true. read more
