Rather than go business casual, I decided the proper thing to do was find a sports jacket. To my surprise, Jos. A. Bank at Christiana offered a complete suit set for me for not much more than a sports jacket. They helped me find something that fit me well (with a bit of post decision tailoring) and was at a fair price point. There was very good customer service here and no hard pressure was given to buy additional accessories like dress shoes or ties, which I either bought elsewhere or had at home from the collection of the recently deceased. Thanks for getting me what I needed and delivering it on schedule from tailoring.

We were here last Saturday shopping, but not for the happy occasion people are normally there for - my grandmother passed away so we needed a dress for her to wear for her funeral. Though we probably were a bit all over the place in what we were saying we wanted, Conlin did a great job of sifting through it, taking in the info from us and the pictures we showed of my mom-mom to give an idea of what we wanted. She pulled an option that was beautiful and we felt my grandmother would've liked/chosen herself. Conlin also helped us in finding some matching jewelry that complimented the dress. The cost of everything was actually pretty good and affordable in my opinion, considering it was a formal dress and jewelry. There was BOGO for the jewelry and, again, the dress itself was very reasonable. It has been a difficult time and that day was a very hard one, but I appreciate the care and understanding that was given to us. Thank you Conlin

Sure, they have the standard selection, albeit a little more limited than the other locations. Sure, the staff greets you and is friendly enough to ask if you need help. Sure, the prices are identical to every REI which is no sales and sucky last chance selections. What really matters is beyond this surface level obvious requirements is just how uneducated and unskilled the staff is. I have been to this location 6 times and not once did I leave in a timely manner because of some hassle. They speak without thinking and say some nonsense about how the Co-op works. News flash if you have the membership, the policies are written pretty clearly online so I know when you're speaking nonsense. The new people there don't even bother to ask so done who has been there a while to answer a question they don't know. Whoever is training the personnel needs to get removed and the whole staff needs to be remediated to know what customer service actually is and stop hassling customers and telling them half truths or making it so difficult to return something that you bought 2 weeks ago with receipts and all.... The tax free isn't worth it, go to another REI.
