I don't shop here since it's t quite a ways from my house but I had to return an online order and my local Macy's closed several years ago. My experience here was pretty seamless. Service was cordial although not overly friendly. The store itself is clean but the parking lot is full of potholes and needs attention. read more

The Sunglasses Hut sales guy was extremely insulting/rude. I was thinking of buying a Sunglasses but not after speaking to him. I tried a couple on, and he stated how they don't look good on me. This is not a review about the store, although their selection is very limited. This review is about the inability to reach customer service to discuss a credit card issue. Macy's has been attempting to take payments from an old mostly unused bank account, even though I have given them the new bank account information online. This is causing me overdrafts. I was once able to reach someone in customer service who I don't think was in this country. She kept claiming the payment was accepted. But it has been returned twice. I have been trying to speak to someone to get this sorted, but there is nothing other than an automated system either at Macy's or the Department Stores National Bank which I suppose handles their credit cards. I have no alternative but to stop using their credit card and stop shopping at Macy's which has become a poor excuse for a department store. Nor can I pay my bills because it does not look like they are processing them correctly. Down with Macy's. Close all the stores, not just some. I am only adding one star as otherwise I cannot post this review. read more

MONA!!!! After receiving the "run around" from Macy's online "customer service" for an (online) order... I was told I needed to go to the department store to resolve the issue - It didn't make sense to me... but ok. Upon arriving I asked a woman to direct me to the management desk, she quickly put a call to someone that I needed assistance. Within 2 minutes, that "someone" was MONA! She was BEYOND helpful. Mona took well over 30 minutes to help me... found that Macy's online had made a mistake. Moving forward... I, being a online shopper for years, will only shop at Macy's Concord Mall in person because of Mona... not just because she helped me with a customer service dilemma... but had me enjoying "in house" / "in person" shopping again. What a depressing, sad store. We walked up to the plus-size department to buy work clothes. One woman was working who didn't even acknowledge us. The selection was abysmal, and the layout just felt unwelcoming. After looking at every single plus-size item in the store, I took 3-4 things back with me. Only one worked (a shirt for $20), so I decided to buy that and at least get something productive out of the time spent here. When we left the fitting room, the woman who had been working had disappeared. We waited a few minutes and she never came back (even though she clearly had seen us go into the fitting room). We then wandered around the 2nd floor for about 10 minutes before we found someone else to check us out, in the lingerie department. While wandering around, we saw maybe 1 or 2 other customers on the 2nd floor, total. We got out of the place as quickly as possible and headed to the rest of the mall. I was really let down, especially as Macy's plus-size selection online is fabulous. Try bringing some of that merchandise- along with some service- to the stores, and this place could rebound and become awesome. Disappointing. read more

This Macy's is hit or miss depending on what department you're shopping in. The "intimates" section was a disaster. The line was so long and there was only one person working, so there was no one to assist me with what I needed, causing my stop in here to be much longer than expected. The men's department was great. I came in here looking for some stuff for my husband and I was wildly successful. The place was organized and the options were wide. I was happy. This is definitely a better Macy's than the one in Springfield, but certainly not the best one I've been to. read more

I've been to this store a few times and the customer service was ok. The store isn't well laid out and finding things can be challenging. Today I was looking for a coat and so were dozens of other people. On my travels to find the area where the coats were, I stopped in the shie secruon which is notorius for being understaffed! I found a nice shoe ay a decent price. I eas armed my coupon, only to be told I couldn't use it. The gentleman was nice about it so it lessened my disappointment! I made my way to the coat section which was cluttered and navigating the isles was difficult. There wasn't enough willing or helpful staff available. I ended up disgusted and left the store all together! read more

I don't shop much at Macy's, but whenever I do it's very short. I only go to smell different perfumes and buy them somewhere cheaper . But today they had some sort of boot sale going on and in addition to the sale price they also applied another 15% discount for friends and family or something to that effect. So in turn, I ended up buying the boot and saving an additional $8. Still not my fave store but I will say there's always an employee visible and willing to help. Depending on how these boots work out for me I'll know for sure if I'm coming back soon for some more. read more

I'm giving 5/5 stars to BEVERLY. She is THE BEST employee and showed 200% customer service. She is the ideal person to work in retail. She is personable, patient, and so pleasant to work with. I came in this morning at opening to return online items, have a sensor removed (employee yesterday at Springfield location forgot to take it off), and browse around. She helped us remove the sensor after going from cashier to cashier to find the right one, and even grabbed shoes in the back for us to try on since no 5.5 shoe sizes were out on the floor. Words honestly cannot describe how amazing, pleasant, sweet, and incredibly helpful she truly is. Macy's should be proud and lucky to have an employee like her. So what I thought what should have been an easy task (returning a purchase made online with my packing slip and receipt) turned into a 25 min conversation with Macy's credit card customer service. Macys please hire competent, intelligent people who have customer service skills and the ability to ask questions when they don't know how to do something. This 1 star is for the young lady who was walking by and asked if I could use some assistance.. The broads working in handbags each get two big fat thumbs down. read more

Purchased a sectional and seat the chair was damaged, told the would replace it, they made me wait all day for the delivery than said they needed to reschedule. Showed up today and tore a hole in my brand new rug. Will never buy there again. read more

This five-star review is simply for the rug department and the super-helpful staff working in it. My mother has visited several times trying to choose a rug and is very, very indecisive, so I finally went with her to help her finish the process. The sales people, Gary in particular, were incredibly patient with her, and answered her questions over and over again, and probably spent 2 hours showing her the same rugs again and again until she made a decision. They were very knowledgeable, as well as incredibly patient and friendly. There is a huge sale going on right now, so I was also impressed by the prices. read more

It's ok. The men's department seems kinda small (so is the whole store) but they do have decent sales now and then. The selection of designer items is not as great here as at some of the "flagship" stores like King of Prussia or Center City Philadelphia. read more

I don't like going to this Macy's. There are never enough people working, and everyone goes at a sloooooow pace. When I asked where something was located the associate just pointed and said, "Down that way." I never did find what I was looking for and there weren't any other sales associates around.
