Showing up for shifts & or having a length of working somewhere does NOT mean someone should be promoted. The manager NICK was sketchy. Seemed to have some underlined problems. I will share my experience with every other business owner i know. Nick did NOT care about my visible disability nor do i need to share why or hear about his poor performance, life skills and gaslighting after treating me like a life form he's never encounter before! Sad lil lad NICK is. All my Delawareans beware. Hence this locations poor scores!! i tried to explain and NICK lacked all management experience. He is a sad soul that needs life experience. I planned to do some internet research and buy a pair, but was persuaded to check out Philadelphia Runner. I was not disappointed. First of all, they actually had sneakers in my size! (I have tiny feet.) Secondly, they were so knowledgeable and professional - they recorded my gait while I ran on a treadmill, pointed out how my feet rolled in on impact, and recommended a pair of sneakers that would help stabilize my gait. We had snuck in right before their closing on Black Friday, but they never made us feel rushed. I've now run about 10 miles in my new sneakers, and I am so glad I listened and bought my sneakers from a brick-and-mortar store. They are eons better than my old sneakers! I already feel a huge difference in comfort while running and have been able to run farther than before. Will definitely be going back when I need a new pair.

I've been going here for the past two years and this is the only place I'll shop for any sneakers that I need--for myself as well as my kids. I mean new balance 880 guy but it was just introduced to the Brooks ghost. They're so soft in my feet! All the staff practice Covid protocol and are strict about enforcing saftey guidelines. I feel safe when I'm there. The staff is super helpful because not only do they measure your feet every time, they also provide multiple items for you to try and encourage you to walk around or outside for the best feel or fit. It takes a little getting used to, because the average sneaker store doesn't do that, but they are traditional/old-school. I love it! One observation is their prices aren't listed so you got to be careful because it's easy to spend a lot of money quickly. However, i've never returned, second guest, or was unhappy about anything. This is a gold mine in a gym for Delaware sports enthusiasts; particularly runners. I recommend this place if you need a good sneaker for doing anything in!

I will recommend this store and buy my shoes there from now on.
