This is a very nice Kohl's that we go to often. It can be a little annoying getting in and out of the parking lot though... It's on the southbound side of 202 so your only choice when you leave is to head south. I usually drive through the parking lot of the five restaurants next to it and use that light to go north, but you can also pull right onto 202 and then make a U-turn at the light. Anyway, I love pretty much any Kohl's I go to, and this one is no different. Best sales around and personally I like their clothes a lot more than other places. read more

I was extremely disappointed by the customer service at this location. Three employees were stationed at the register, yet not one acknowledged me or the other customer waiting in line to check out. When a cashier finally became available, she continued her conversation with a coworker and then walked away without assisting me. I had no choice but to leave without making my purchase. This level of inattentiveness is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of basic customer service standards here. read more

I received a high pressure sales pitch to open charge account by cashier who had no clue what she was doing. I went back a couple months later to the store to pay off the blanace. The cashier who said she could do it, could not give me the balance, so I paid what was on the last statement...to find out that Kohl's was tacking $43 a month on my account (on which I thought there was no balance). In 6 months, the interest and fees equaled over 50% more than the initial purchase - which would be over 100% in a year. I am left thinking that Kohl's is a loan shark business, disguised as a department store. read more

Rude cashier. I was looking for a Kohls gift card that says "Happy Birthday". I guess that's got on his nerves, so he sarcastically said "they are all the same lady". Went to pay for 2 other items along with the gift card, only to have the cashier say that he didn't think that you can buy a Kohls gift card with a Kohls credit card. Since when? I've done it many times before. I left my stuff and called the store and spoke to the manager. He had to put me on hold and ask someone since he wasn't sure if that was correct. Not much merchandise was available, especially in the men's department. But men's clearance was great! The fixtures were extremely light with merchandise and sort of stretched out to fill in whatever they could. On another note please advise all of your team members to wear a headset along with their walkie. Team members should not be shouting out to the manager for assistance! Nor should I hear their conversation with almost every team member's walkie volume blasting loud. It's unprofessional and team member conversations should be confidential in a work setting when guests are around! I went to Kohl's to do an Amazon return. When I arrived, there was someone in line ahead of me and one at the register. The lady at the register was trying to pull up something on her phone, so the associate asked the lady in front of me, are you doing an Amazon return? The lady said yes, so she helped her. Then the associate asked me the same question and I said, yes. She then, looked me up and down and said, you will have to wait until I am done waiting on this customer. Although I was a little upset, I waited. After 3 minutes, the lady at the register was still trying to pull up something on her phone, I walked up to the desk and asked for a manager. She asked me, why do I need a manager and I explained why. She then helped me. I asked her, why she couldn't help me the first time but offered to help the customer in front of me? Her response was, she was here before me and that her system was down. This made no sense at all. When the manager came over, I explained to him that the rep helped the lady in front of me, but she didn't want to help me. I told him that I think that this was due to my race. He stated that he knows the rep and that this had nothing to do with my race. I told him that her tone was unpleasant and that she looked me up and down. He never apologized for her behavior and did nothing. I know for sure that this had everything to do with my race because everyone there was from the same race (customers, manager, and rep). What kind of rep, would allow a customer to hold up the line? If her system was down, how was she able to help the lady in front of me? Why did she look me up and down and tell me that I had to wait? Why did she help me when I made a fuss and asked for a manager? This is a horrible situation and the manager (Ethan), should not have taken the associate's side. What happened to the motto, "the customer is always right". If I felt that way, he should have shown some empathy towards me, but instead he defended the rep. Very poor customer service. I have been a loyal customer at this store for over 10 years and it is very heart-broken to have to go through this. read more

I want to like this store, but every time I come there is a problem. One person at customer service as the only line? Seriously? In addition, when I got to the front of the line and noticed a defect in the product, I asked the cashier if she could have someone bring up another one from the back of the store (I was in heels and it was a long day). She said "would you like to go get it yourself?" I said "no, I am in heels." So she put it in my bag and gave it to me knowing there was an issue. read more

Usually this Kohl's is fine. But the other day the drive-up delivery person accidentally deleted my second order; ok, accidents happen. He took my name and went back. 30 min later he came back for the order # b/c he couldn't find my items. 30 min later, after other customers drove up, got their orders, & left, I asked the employee filling their orders where the first guy was and was told there was a shift change. No one was looking for my order nearly an hour after I checked in. So I went inside, where there was a long line, and asked an associate for help since I'd already waited an hour, but was told I had to get in the back of the line. I waited in line- and then they could only find 1 of 3 ordered items. I had to leave to take care of my dog, so they said they would call once they found the rest of the order. In short- after over 90 minutes with multiple customer service or stocking errors, I had to leave empty-handed, and no one has called about my order. I got an email saying it would be cancelled if I don't pick it up today and I don't even know if it will be there or if I'll have to go through this again. I already spent the Kohls cash. read more

I responded to Kohls request for my information. A very nice woman from the executive office named Joanie called me and we spoke about the situation. She was very apologetic and understood my frustration as a card holder for 17 years. Apparently the policies they have in place won't allow a reversal. I don't particularly understand why they felt the need to call me, just to tell me they wouldn't be helping me. Review stands and account is closed. read more

This Kohl's is a standalone store on Concord Pike southbound with a parking lot that always seems way too huge for the number of customers I actually see there. I do like browsing the store though because I've found some interesting surprises in their clearance racks. Also, their store policy, which allows coupon-stacking and offers easy returns, seems very customer-friendly. Regular prices, however, seem to be on the high side, so Kohl's would not be my usual store for clothes and general merchandise. read more

We purchased a pots and pans set, among other things, for our son's dorm suite. Once he got to school he found he didn't need the set because someone else already had them. His school is a few hours drive from home. There is another Kohls location there though. I had the receipt for the pots and pans at home. Rather than wait for me to mail the receipt to our son so he could make the return, we decided to take a picture of the receipt hoping Kohls would accept that. They did! We certainly appreciated this type of customer service! read more
