A solid target in Wilmington. It's clean. There's usually no line to pay. It's well organized. There's a Starbucks in it. Only thing is that there is usually a 5 to 10 minute wait or even longer when I order items for pick up in store. Sometimes there's a long line and sometimes the staff just takes a while to get the items. However, if you order drive up. It literally takes a minute.m if you put "on my way" on your target app. Once I clicked arrive, the target representative was out with my stuff within a minute! Super quick. Holy hell. Largest Target ever. Apparently they gross $300k a day and are the second most profitable Target locations nationally. I'd believe that. So, being from California... most Target employees are less than enthused, in their teens/twenties (with maybe one or two in their 40s/50s and are usually management). This place? I think the average age of employees was 40, and they were all friendly and helpful. It was like I walked into a Twilight Zone episode. Is this what a Target should be? My fiancé and I were at Target around noon today, and a very pleasant lady by the name of Charlene handled a situation with a let's just say "very opinionated" customer. This target is in a great area nearby lots of shops and grocery stores ! Usually use it for drive up services but I had to stop in because there was something I forgot on my list. The drive up experience was A+ ! Usually you drive up, park and you sit there for a good 5 mins before your order arrives. Here, the target associate was already outside at the parking space before I could even say I was there. Love that ! Inside I tend to cringe because it can be very packed and slow moving. Some of the aisle were congested ( especially in the bath aisle) but I still was able to get in and out with ease. Very clean, well stocked usually always have everything I need. The only downside is if you are doing drive up this location cannot hold your refrigerated items as they don't have freezer space. Just an FYI. I'm still stressed from my last visit to target in the Brandywine Parkway in Delaware. While I was shopping, an employee named Margie came up to me and started talking about how not everything is from the United States and these kids need to know that, along with some other things that were hard to understand. As I left the area, I heard her say to another employee who was in another area, am I not right? The other employee who could not hear what she was saying to me said, yes you are. It was an unnerving and strange experience. When I asked the manager to intervene, she said they are just stressed out from the dockworker strike. I'm not gonna spend money to get bullied, and they are allowed to do this to customers. I am nearly a 50-year-old woman, I am not a kid or a girl. I was born and raised in the United States. Here are my fav things about Club Tar-Jay. One stop shopping obviously. Just plain good stuff. I am an interior designer and I shop around everywhere. Target always has good stuff to fill the nooks and crannies of your home. Last, stackable savings! If you are a Target shopper and you are not using the Cartwheel app, you are missing out. It looks more pleasing than the old way. I'm here at least twice if not 3x's a week for something and it's always clean neat and the employees here are so helpful and friendly, I mean out of their way friendly. Esp customer service/ order pick up, I really can't compare the service I get here to any other competitor. Target brand items from food to personal care items are awesome! I love the Target in the Brandywine Town Center in Wilmington, DE. The store is always immaculately clean, well stocked with quality items, and the prices are GREAT!!! An added bonus is that the manager, Mr. Lewis, and his staff put the customers first. They are there to help in any way they can. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I also appreciate that Target gives you 5% off all purchases and through the Target app, there are deals that offer $5 gift cards when purchasing various items in the store and online. I have ordered from Brandywine (Wilmington, DE) Target curbside pickup for over a year now and have had issues with over half of my orders (which I place frequently.) If this began at the time of COVID-19, I would 100% understand. However, this is not the case. In over half of my orders, I was missing items. At this point, I'm unable to get out of the car to check my order (which isn't my responsibility anyway) due to crowded parking lots and people not wearing masks. I have severe asthma and am considered high risk for infection. I shouldn't have to put my life on the line to get what I paid for. Recently, I ordered a storage bin which came out without a lid. The employee said she would be back with it. After waiting 30 minutes, I had to talk to another employee and found out that the first person I dealt with left for the day and didn't relay the information. While the second employee did attempt to help, she had to go into the store twice (20+ minute wait for both times) and came back saying they didn't have it. I was told I had to go in to the store to get refunded and I'm unable to do so due to health risks. The very next order I placed was missing FOUR items. Everything was jammed into a large target bag (too heavy to carry anyway) and I had to claw it open. I only noticed one item missing because I didn't have time to go through item by item. When I called the store, I was not able to reach guest services and was eventually told by someone in electronics (only department that I could reach someone) that I would have to come in for the item because I wouldn't be able to reach guest services at all. First of all, this is not an isolated incident and it is not acceptable when I have a 30 minute drive (one way) and there's a solid chance that the item will be sold out and I'll have to wait in an extremely long line just to find that out. Besides the fact that I put my own and my family's lives in danger while we are trying to quarantine to save our own and others health and safety. Although target will EVENTUALLY refund you, that doesn't excuse the fact that this is happening. I ordered those items because I NEED them. The refund isn't processed for several days. Now is not the time to be waiting for money with myself laid off and my husband's hours cut. Now, I have to wait 3-5 business days to buy my dog food because of this. Sadly, we don't have any money to be able to do that at the moment. After hours of waiting on hold for the store and the corporate office (on multiple occasions), I was told that their only solution is to provide feedback to the store. Anybody that knows about business knows that this is not a solution that will work anytime soon. It also does nothing to help my personal situation. Target refuses to do anything to rectify and most at the corporate office were rude and unapologetic. Not to mention that I was disconnected and/or hung up on multiple times, furthering my time taken to remedy this. This is absolutely appalling and unacceptable but they won't do a thing about it. They truly feel that it is reasonable for me to risk my life to fix a problem on their end. Meanwhile, this company makes billions of dollars. It's sad that this is the way that Target conducts business in general but particularly during this time. I would give zero stars if allowed. read more

Now that I work right near this Target, I can't help but run in from time to time for household goods, frozen entrees for lunch on the cheap and of course, a latte from Starbucks. Lunch hour can get busy - but if you go at 10 - 11 AM (sure, my boss will love that!) it's ded in there. Weekends? Another story. Parking lot is big but gets full and a bit of a cluster getting in and out. Bonus: I can stop at Petsmart, too. And Trader Joes' is walking distance. Lots of shopping in a compact area. read more

I've been to a number of Target stores but I was impressed with this one. On a busy Black Friday, there were Target employees walking around the store asking customers if they needed help finding anything. Not just that though. Some of the best sale items of the weekend were available in sufficient quantity and displayed at the front of the store as I entered. Furthermore, all the cash registers were staffed and I had no wait at all when it was time to check out. If this is what they provide on an especially busy shopping day, it ought to be a pretty good place to shop ordinarily. The specifics: This Target store is located at the Towne Center strip mall off US-202. It is behind the mall building and that side of the parking lot is huge. I found that prices were generally good. Walmart may be cheaper on some goods while Target is cheaper on other goods. Some of Target's store-brand groceries have lower prices than supermarkets, although you have to check unit prices to be sure. read more

Lately I have been coming down to Delaware to do shoppings for home improvement, etc (you know tax free shopping). Of course I almost always have to stop by at Target just because (I think we can agree we don't need reasons to visit Target). However, surprisingly this time I had a good reason ! My vacuum cleaner broke so I was looking for a new vacuum. Every time I visit this Target the workers have consistently been nice and super helpful. I also see them cleaning almost all the time. Unlike other Target locations that went through some renovations this location probably is the original (aside from adding the grocery section). Out of all the Targets I usually go to King of Prussia store has been my favourite, but even though this location is smaller I like to come here because of the workers. I also stopped by at the Starbucks in this Target and once again the workers were extremely helpful and friendly. I debated whether to get their new hazulnut coconut macchiato or cinnamon almond milk macchiato. They gave me constructive break down on their opinions and ingredients in both of them. I tried their hazulnut coconut milk macchiato and it was really good. It was sweet, but not sweet enough to ask to put less pumps of their syrup. The employees are LOUD. Not once in awhile, all the time. They're all like besties yet gossip about one another. I literally was standing at the register while one of the front end supervisors showed the cashier pics from a wedding. I recently visited this Target and purchased over $100 worth of items. The moment I got to checkout I gave the person my coupons so that I didn't forget to give them to her. As I was loading the items into my cart she throws a coupon back at me and says "You don't have this item". I immediately removed the shampoo as conditioner from my bag and said "Yes, I do" handed them coupon back to her. She then decides that she wants to give me a $1.00 off when the coupon clearly says $3.00 off when I buy two. I told her I'm not going to debate this with you when the coupon clearly says $3.00 off. To make matters worse I purchased 6 laundry detergents and when you buy two you get a $5 Target Gift Card. She only gave me one $10 off coupon when it should have been another $5 off coupon I should have received. I am beyond irritated and contacted the store manager who was worthless. The best part is shortly after my call I received an email with a survey and trust me I went in and let this store have it because there is no reason why I should have spent this amount of money to not get the discount I deserved because of someone's incompetence!!! Almost all the staff are excellent. They helped me find many items I was looking for. However there were two young white dudes, With light brown hair, not wearing their masks, had them pull down below their nose. I asked them to pull their masks up and cover their noses. One of them pulled his mask up and when I got to the end of the aisle I turned around to look back and he pulled it down again. I just don't understand why young men think they are somehow exempt or the disease doesn't affect them or apply to them or that they can't infect others. Selfish. I won't shop here again. If the management of the store can't make it important enough for them to understand they must keep their masks on all the time then they can't be very effective. read more

This target used to be clean. The place is now a filthy mess. The food area with the pizza hut and starbucks was disgusting. Crumbs and trash all over the floor. The best part was when I went to throw something out at the trash can....I was attacked by a swarm of fruit flies hanging around the can. Target Mobile: Rude, Unprofessional & Unknowledgeable staff - Team up with the electronic dept manager, Robert, who were unwilling to help and - to sweet up the deal - did not take complain. Did I mention DREADFULLY BAD BAD BAD customer service?!!!!!!!! I put my name on the waiting list for 3 of iPhone 5s. I received a call that the black iPhone we wanted was ready to be picked up, but not the white nor the gold phone. I asked for how long that they could hold the phone so I might be able to pick up more than one phone on the same trip. No, luck. They wouldn't hold it more than 24 hours, they said. I got no choice since the phone was sold out everywhere else. I agreed to go in for that one phone the following day by 7:30pm. I arrived next day around 12:05pm. There were a customer in front of me & one being help. Vinneshia was the 'only' person in the whole entire Target store that could sell mobile phone. I told myself that it shouldn't be so bad... Maybe 25-40 mins top. I stood inline patiently. The 1st customer finished & left in 15 mins. The couple in front of me traded in 3 iPhones & activated one new. Slowly took them 15-20 mins. Then Vinneshia kept asking her about updating info, which she said that she made it to iTune. At the end, Vinneshia gave her an idea that she should let her update Contact Info the ancient way by calling AT&T and have they transfer it thru SIM card. Anyone that use iPhone for a while knows that the best and super easy way to restore the data is to connect the phone thru wifi & restore thru iCloud or iTune. That way, everything on the phone will be restored. I do expect an 'expert' salesperson to know & make a wise recommendation to customers. Especially, when you have awaiting customer in line. I was waiting an additional 'one full hour' for Vinneshia to transfer the contact info. The woman seemed like the kind na have nothing better to do in her day & enjoy having people waiting behind her. I started asking because at this point it is an unacceptable waiting period (1 1/2 hours) for only 2 customers in front of me. The very least helpful electronic dept manager, ROBERT, was called to talk to me. At the first sentence when I mentioned that I came to pick up the iPhone, he was giving me an attitude of 'I am not here to help you & I am not taking your complaint.' Two repleted sentences that Robert said to me was "these people are in front of you. I can't do anything about it." Then walked away. I was losing it! Great!!! He didn't even care to find out that the couple were being helped for over an hour, plus they didn't have a problem. They were being advised to pursue an unnecessary step on my expense. What a great working environment to be in?!!!!! An unwise & unprofessional staff positions under a 'not giving a damn' manager. Oh! Did I mentioned that Vinneshia also told me that she wouldn't hold that phone if I would have left. She was accusing me of missing my appointment yesterday. I had to look up my record that I just got the call to pick up the phone yesterday so I couldn't miss my appointment that I didn't have. I was rudely accused. I was really pissed, yet my old phone was sold & scheduled to be shipped out, so I needed to finish the transaction. This completely ruined the rest of my schedule for the day. My 1st complaint ever on a department store & I shop everywhere from a dollar store to Neman Marcus, from Louis Vuitton on 5th Avenue to mom & pop store in Thailand. I do accept flaws in services since I know that they deal with customers in countless calibers. Yet, I found a HUGH unacceptable today. I was told that the store manager was not there. I did speak to Karen who was the front store manager. Karen was nice and appropriately listened to the complaint, yet she couldn't un-ring the bell. Took me 10 mins to finish my transaction at 1:46pm. Took me total of 1 hours & 41 mins with less than 2 transactions in front of me. I would have walked away knowing the amount of wait time of hand off hand. I was a life long Target's customer. Loved the store. Have Target Red Card. Even one time, held their stock shares, just because I loved their business. I alway thought that everyone there was so nice. I did adore their business practice. I shop Target whenever possible for toiletry, household and even food items. I love the bright clean layout of the store and most items are easy to find. I also think it is great that they feature products from small businesses as a way to help the little guy out-Go Tarjay! On my last visit with my mom she was unable to find the bath powder. Four associates attempted to help us but in the end we left without it and my mom muttering the awful W word (((shudder))). You would think employees would be able to punch a product into an electronic inventory and see exactly where it should be; instead the emps scoured the shelves and walked the aisles. I tried to get an upgrade on my cellphone on the Verizon Wireless network. There was a good deal on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. My cellphone was broken but I needed an upgrade anyway. The store workers answered my questions nicely and the deal was about to happen when the Target tech team (located offsite) said they would need to send an agreement to my existing cellphone by text. Obviously I explained that my cellphone was broken and I wouldn't get the text. I asked what the workaround was and to my complete surprise I was told there is no workaround, either click on the link in a text message to my current phone or that's just too bad. I tried to get some help from the Target manager but she couldn't be bothered other than to give me a phone number to some district manager. She literally did not even go over to the tech department to talk with the offsite tech people so that we could proceed with the sale. read more
