Our favorite family retail store has something for everyone. They are doing some major repairs right now so it may be noisy and some areas blocked off. We had fun looking for bargains, especially upstairs. Only problem was some registers wouldn't take our Boscov's gift cards so we had to take that merchandise to the Customer service to pay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Glad Boscov's will be staying even if rest of the mall is demolished or converted to something else. read more

Price is by weight and you can cut off however much you want All the flavors I tried were delicious, but I particularly liked the vanilla with walnuts The Christmas mousse was excellent as well, it tasted like a fudge topped brownie. They have other flavors like orange creamsicle that seemed out of place for a brick of fudge but after trying the raspberry cheesecake I kinda wanna see what the orange creamsicle is all about The employees here are all very nice and there are many other chocolate candies to choose from I'll be back! read more

I think Boscov's need to recognize that the majority of their customers are older. Many older people still go to brick and mortar department stores rather than buy on line. That being said I must point out your lack of or or short supply of shopping carts are hurting your business. My mother is 85 and I taker her on a shopping trip every week usually to Boscov's . She needs a shopping cart to shop. Without a cart she can only last 20-30 minutes. With a cart she can last for an hour to an hour and a half. Even on a weekday it is difficult to find a cart Recently Boscov's had the 25% shopping pass for charity. We arrived at 9:30. There was already a Crowd, there was not a cart to be found. Over the space of two hours I circled the store 6 times checking each entrance for a cart. Cart was not to be found. At the entrance where most carts are to be found, elderly women were actually fighting each other over a shopping cart The site of my poor bent over85 year old mother trying to shop was heart breaking. Finally a nice young women offered us a cart and my mother was able to shop another hour. If a person has a cart they will shop longer and spend more. This seems like basic economics. Wake up and get more shopping carts!!!!! read more

This local department store has reasonable prices. The merchandise sale prices are competitive. At times are even more discounts on the lowest ticketed price. As far as the store associates-they're similar to the other establishments, some associates are pleasant and some are rude. What makes this store stand out from the competition are; they have free gifts for loyal charge customers from time to time, FREE gift wrap service without a minimum amount of in-store purchases. They have a variety of gift wrap paper to choose from. This is my store of choice if I have gifts to buy. The free wrap is a real time saver! This is the reason I give it 4 stars. Before my outing last week, my only knowledge of Boscov's was that it is the only store my grandmother will shop at, and that she loves their elastic waist pants with matching printing shirts. Needless to say, I didn't have the best opinion of Boscov's. However, after failing at Macy's in the Concord Mall, my mom mentioned that she had seen a lot of plus-size clothing at Boscov's when shopping with my grandmother. We decided to give it a try. Their plus-size selection is HUGE. They even carry brands like Jones New York and Calvin Klein. I walked out with an insane amount of clothes for incredibly cheap- skinny jeans, sweaters, shirts, and skirts. Shopping in the store is a little bit like shifting through a nice thrift store- you have to work hard to find decent things, but when you do, they're awesome. Also, everything is marked down considerably (seriously, every single stand in the store has a "sale" sign on top), which means that you can buy twice as much :-). After we finished canvasing the plus-size section, we asked the sales lady where the dresses were. She told us that they were in the dresses/suits section. No other store mixes plus-size clothes with other clothes throughout the rest of the store, so we were surprised. While we were checking out, someone else came up and asked the same question. It would be nice if they were had some signs up like "More plus-size clothes available in the following sections of the store", just because it's so unusual for a department store. This would have been 5 stars, but the store was incredibly hot and humid. The fitting rooms were even worse- we both were sweating profusely after trying on piles of clothes. Other people in the store were obviously hot as well. This would definitely deter me from coming here casually to browse. Fix the AC please! read more

Love Boscovs but I frequent it mostly for home goods... They have great deals on curtains and I just love how that section is set up... Just got nice curtains for my living room along with the rods for about $120 (6 of the 84" panels and 2 of the 63"). I LOVE them - Boscov's will definitely always be my go-to place for curtains. I have also found myself over the years heading to Boscov's for small appliances, towels, junior prom dresses, etc. I recently noticed a bunch of cute clothes so I may have to stop back back to check out their spring stuff soon. And yes, their candy counter is especially appealing and darnit, I am GOING to stop and buy me some chocolate next time!!! read more

Have been shopping at Boscovs ever since they opened. Lately have been stopping in and not finding much I'm interested in especially in the men's department. Very little in the way of dress clothing, nothing unique , mostly house brand and casual stuff. read more

We moved to PA. I considered buying living room furniture on line but I really wanted to see it and try it out. We had a good experience at Boscov's in Delaware. The prices were reasonable (better than on line). The salesperson Carolyn was very helpful. I hadn't shopped in Boscov's in years. Happy I took the chance. Annoyed at the furniture department. First the salesperson made a huge mistake by forgetting to an extra zero to my annual income which led to a long verification process and a denial. As soon as I was denied he immediately went to help another customer. I had to go online and do my husband's credit app which was approved probably because I did it correctly. It still took him 15 minutes to come back to helping us purchase a couch and 2 recliners while ironically the other people didn't buy anything from him. He did apologize but he turned a fun experience of shopping for furniture into a nightmare and an extra inquiry on my credit report for his mistake. Thanks Boscov. So we decided to go to another company that price matched and we went with them. Far better service and quality. Now we had to call and cancel the order with the same individual who couldn't cancel over the phone supposedly??? So he pushed the order back and wouldn't you guess we still got a call last night close to 9 pm of the delivery people trying to confirm the delivery of items we've cancelled. Now we're having to waste part of our weekend to deal with this "professional". So done with Boscovs. read more

I think this store is ok to shop since it's at the concord mall and makes sense to drop in as we have many stores like Best Buy, Ulta, Macy's and many other stores at a single place. The store really needs more space since the passages are narrow. They have good discounts during holidays and the discounts do continue on other days but these can be comparable with other stores. I find their stores to be confusing since they arrange all the stuff at different places and I always have trouble in finding the things and have to go over multiple times to identify. read more

Ordered a shirt on January 1st. Three weeks later it still hasn't arrived. Every few days the arrival date changes. I am constantly tracking this package - online, on my porch, and called one week ago to inquire. Not sure if the issue is with Boscov's or FedEx, but it didn't prepare to ship until a full week after my order. And according to tracking, it arrived at a location 10 miles from my residence 5 days ago and STILL isn't here. Never in my life of online shopping has it taken so long for one shirt to arrive. The place is a dump. It smells bad, all the carpets are stained and disgusting, the elevator and escalators sound like death traps, and the sales associates are useless, assuming you can even find one. The manager of the home department doesn't even know how to remove a sensor from a kitchen aid mixer and got an attitude with us. Furthermore, the lady working at customer service counter is extremely rude. To make matters worse, the ladies restroom was a cesspool of used toilet paper and several used tampons on the floor. I couldn't even find a sale associate to call house keeping. Boscov's used to be my family's go-to store but not anymore. I'd give it no stars if I could. read more

I went to boscovs to return a dress, I was treated with terrible customer service. The lady talked down to me and made me feel stupid when she was supposed to be the employee- whatever happened to the customer always being right? Then we got a store credit and went to go spend it. I asked for help with the makeup and the lady seemed completely uninterested and not willing to help me. I tried asking other workers but they all didn't help and referred me back to the same lady. After going back and trying again the lady seemed to get very annoyed at me when all I needed was to be pinged in the right direction for a product. I would say I will never go to boscovs again. read more
