Cool mall with great places to eat. We ate at Tommy's Tavern a sports bar style place. We intended to go to an Italian place next to it but it was shut down. We were not disappointed with the food there. It was a little loud and a little dark for my taste but the food will not disappoint. I have a separate review for that place. Christiana mall has a lot of great stores! I was on a business trip to Elkton, MD. and needed to buy some sweatpants. While I did not find any that I liked at this mall I did find other items I liked and bought. The mall itself is clean and has plenty of parking outside. The food court is pretty large with a variety of places to choose from. You will find something to eat here, there are a lot of places. There's also a Target which is super convenient! I love malls with Targets, it saves you an extra trip. The prices here felt a little lower than the Bay Area, CA. I went to JC Penny and found some nice things and the cashier lady even helped me get a coupon online to save a little extra cash. All the people I interacted with here were friendly. All the stores were out together and well stocked. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom, I can even say I have a Nordstrom shopping problem. This Nordstrom is very underwhelming. There is not a whole lot of selection for women and I was bummed. I was looking to see if they had some items I saw online and they did not. The store itself was clean and the employees were very nice. I'll be writting a separate review for JC Penny and Nordstrom. This mall is a good place to shop with good stores inside. Nothing too high end, they have Coach but you won't see any of the higher end brands like Louis Vuitton or Gucci here. read more

This mall is huge, has about 4 wings, single floor only. It's clean inside. The common section in the middle has store directory but I didn't see one in the corner entrance of JC Penny. Common areas also don't have any spots for guests to sit and rest. The mall has parental policy in place for minors visiting the mall. It has a huge Apple store, very crowded since it is 0 sales tax. read more

Christiana seems like one of the malls that is still surviving--and thriving! I always recommend that people stop here if they're driving through Delaware. The mall is huge and has a great selection of retailers, including Apple, Lush, and all the apparel and accessories that you could want. And it's all tax free. That's a big selling point for buying pricier items here versus other locations. Keep in mind that the tax free is only for in-store shopping, and you will pay taxes if you ship to your home. There is plenty of parking and the mall is easily accessible from major roads. Shop early if you can, because it gets busy on weekends and around the holidays. Still, I often visit Christiana Mall on my way up and down the East coast via car. read more

This mall has a lot of great features...one of them being no sales tax cause we're shopping in Delaware! On this outing...we went to Barnes and noble, Lego store, Lolli & Pops, the small play area for kiddos and the Target! This mall has definitely changed since I first starting coming here over 20 years ago...great selection of stores and if I were hungry I would've ate at the food court cause they had a great variety of options. The mall has made some wonderful improvements over the years! Usual suspect retailers, restaurants and the obligatory food court do nothing to diminish my fondness for Delaware's Christiana Mall. It's a tax free shopping revelation and if you're in the area a quick 8% right off the top (vs. NJ) before any merchant discount is a nice bonus. It's probably not worth the trip it if you're in the market for a toaster and some socks but if you have your eye on a home theater or some other big ticket obsession, you've just financed a very nice dinner and a show. Service/ Handicap parking spaces The mall is crowded every weekend and it's a good thing, but my husband and I both have disabilitie/ seniors. We've noticed that more people are just parking in the Handicap spaces without a permit and security/ police should be aware of this. Christiana Mall is hands down one of the best shopping destinations on the East Coast. Every time I visit, I'm impressed not only by the wide variety of stores but also by how clean, spacious, and well-maintained the entire property is. Parking is plentiful and easy to navigate, which always makes the experience stress-free. One of my favorite features of Christiana Mall is the food court. It has an incredible mix of options, from quick bites to full meals, so there's always something for everyone. Whether you're craving Asian cuisine, pizza, cheesesteaks, or healthier options, the food court delivers every time. The seating is spacious, and it's a perfect place to take a break in between shopping. As for the stores, the mall truly has it all. Foot Locker always has the latest sneaker releases and a wide selection of athletic wear, with staff that are knowledgeable and helpful. Journeys is another go-to spot, especially for trendy footwear and accessories I always find something unique there that I don't see elsewhere. Both of these stores, along with countless others in the mall, create such a dynamic shopping experience. I'm a fragrance enthusiast and I also checked out this one store called Perfume Point. This store was really nice and quickly became my favorite stop in the mall. The selection of fragrances is phenomenal from designer classics to luxury niche brands, they truly have something for everyone. What impressed me most was not just the variety, but also the pricing, which was very competitive and often better than what I've seen elsewhere. On top of that, the customer service was exceptional. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about fragrances, making the shopping experience feel personal and enjoyable. I left with a fragrance I absolutely love and had one of the best retail experiences I've had in a long time. Lastly I headed over to Trendy man for a nice tailored suite. The gentleman there really knew what he was doing and took care of me. Overall, Christiana Mall offers an unbeatable combination of great shopping, delicious dining, and excellent service. Yeah if you're staying anywhere near the MDVA region (DMV for non smashers), I'd highly recommend checking out Christiana Mall. Delaware has no sales tax, so you can rack up tons of savings just by shopping at this mall. Located conveniently off the I-95, you can easily stop by here if you're travelling through Pennsylvania, Maryland, etc. The mall reminds me of Westfield Oakridge back home. They have tons of stores like Apple, Microsoft, Nordstrom, Target, Gamestop, and Barnes & Noble. I bought Triple-A games from Gamestop with no sales tax. That's a 9.375% savings compared to where I'm from in California, and that adds up if you're buying expensive things like games, consoles, etc. My brother bought an iPad and an Apple Pen from the Apple store for even more savings. I bought some anime books and merch from Barnes & Noble for my boy Bphan back home because of the absence of sales tax. The food court is surprisingly solid too. They have Popeyes, Panda Express, and Suki Hana (see my review for more details). Looking back, Christiana is a pretty solid mall in its own right. But the absence of sales tax since it's in Delaware makes it godlike. Would highly recommend. read more

Christiana Mall is like a smaller version of KOP Mall, but it definitely has its merits. First of all, it's easier to navigate as it's smaller. Second, it has a Costco nearby with gas station, liquor and zero sales tax. So if you wanna buy something expensive, it's worthwhile to drive one-hour one way to come here. Parking can be a bit hectic but still manageable. read more

They have pretty much every business you could want in this mall! They even have free 2 hour charging for your EV. Plus they're located near Costco, REI and Trader Joe's, what could be better than that? Wish we lived closer, but when we're in the area we got to stop by! read more

It's busy inside the mall. The most concentrated area was by the food court. There's a lot of people in all some of the corridors of the mall, you wouldn't know there's a pandemic in some sections of the mall. We came in here for a large colorful fruit tea at the Mr. Wish kiosk inside. There are sanitation stations around the mall. read more

You can't beat tax free, so if I'm making a big purchase I always try and make the trip down to this mall to get a deal. It's also great for Christmas and holiday shopping. I like that this mall is quite large, even if it is designed somewhat poorly in a weird rectangular layout with some random dead ends thrown in. They have a variety of stores and some good anchor stores (Macy's and Target for instance) that make it worth the trip. This is one of only a few malls left that is still thriving, no doubt due to the amount of money they put into it and the fact that the state it's in is tax free. I never pass up a shopping trip here. read more

This mall was a breath of fresh air for me. I was tired of shopping at my local mall (which has absolutely no variety), outlets and little local boutiques. It was great to go to a mall that actually had variety! I stopped at a lot of the stores--Nordstrom's, Macy's, White House Black Market, South Moon Under, J Jill, Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. This place has everything!! The food court is awesome and there's even a Cabela's nearby and a huge movie theater and just about anything else you could want . I'm actually insulted as a customer of the Christiana Mall because of showing favoritism to specifically Tesla owners in providing Tesla only parking spaces. Dozens of them. I've been driving EV vehicles for a decade and enjoying the convenient availability of EV charging stations at Christiana. Now it's impossible to get a charging spot because they're inviting specifically Tesla owners to the mall. Tesla gets free charging all over the country, but now they've monopolized all the charging spots at the mall. Even the handicapped don't get this many parking spots conveniently located right next to the charging spots. As an EV driver, I'm very disappointed I lost my perk because apparently the mall thinks Tesla drivers are more special than any one of the thousands of other people who patronize the mall. I'm willing to bet money other shoppers are shaking their heads when they see that. read more

Wow what a huge mall. It's one of those can't miss places when you're driving through Delaware. Let's be realistic about it, it has everything you could possibly need, and it's surrounded by every possible store that you could possibly need. From Costco to Bloomingdale's, the Christiana Mall has anything for your budget. We spent our time walking around ooooing and awwwing all of the wonderful stores, the cleanliness of the mall as well as availability everything everywhere all the time! It's a great mall. Lots of shops and is open little later than most malls. Only thing is we were there near closing time and security and staff were incredibly rude. We were packing up our food in the food court and a security guard threatened that if we didn't leave now- he was going to ban us. Like?? Incredibly rude and distasteful. My daugters bought me a mother's day ring from the jewelry department and gave it to me on mother's day. Now it's July 28. I took the ring back to the store to get sized my daughters were told it would be 29.00 to get sized . When I took it there I paid 45.00 (they lied). The ring was sent out in which took 4 or so weeks It came back still didn't fit. Went back spoke to Karen the manager she did a care plan (which never happened) and put the 20.00(which should of be refunded and was not) towards that. Karen also said well the care plan wouldnt work . Someone should of called and she doesnt know why maybe they write the wrong number down (karen took my info)Well I've called I never would get a call back until today. I was told they ordered a new one and it's being mailed to my house. They lie still have no ring nor the money back. I would never ever purchase from them . Horrible service read more

Even though it's freezing rain outside, I still need to try and get my 10k steps in so I headed to the mall and did some walking. This is a nice, modern mall that is challenging to access and challenging to leave, at least that's what I found. But once you're inside, the walking is easy and there is plenty of space even with all the kiosks. Quite a few upscale and modern shops and lots of kiosks offering a variety of products and services. It's a big mall, so there is a good spread of unique stuff as well as the large anchors, Target, Macy's, Nordstrom and JC Penney. Food court is very large with more than 15 different offerings, though the queues were the longest at stalwarts Taco Bell and McDonald's. This is why we're fat, people! Easy to walk around the big circle a few times and peer in to many of the shops. BONUS: DELAWARE DOES NOT HAVE A SALES TAX! So the price you see is the price you pay. How about that! read more

Christiana Mall isn't a huge mall, but not small either. There's plenty of parking. Their exterior, and wacky driving patterns remind me of Montgomery Mall (Montgomeryville, PA) or Willow Grove Mall (Willow Grove, PA), anyone else notice that? The mall is a single-story deal, with a naturally-lit interior during the day, well-lit after sunset. There's still a light selection of stores, even with the unstable economy at the moment. I've been shopping at Christiana on-and-off for years - can't beat tax-free shopping - and was here last week, even meeting Santa Claus, or his helper, if you prefer. At the end of the day, Christiana Mall is still just a mall, so no matter what I write, you know deep in your heart whether or not you're checking them out, am I right? read more

Don't get me wrong, I love this mall. It has a really wide variety of big stores that all are well-stocked. Everything "commercial wise" is great. The one thing that really got me was the fact that it's DIRTY. There seemed to not be a lot of people cleaning in the food courts or around the mall. I had used one of the bathrooms while I was there and it looked like a bomb went off. The trash cans were overflowing and there were cups and bottles of soda on the sink. I would think that they would have someone down there every 2 hours just to maintain it! I went into one of the stalls (there were only three and there was another lady in the second) and there was toilet paper on the floor and type hygiene box seemed to be spilled out! I used a different stall that seemed to be cleaner, but it still had toilet paper on the floor. Other than that turn off, I really do like this mall and I recommend it for big shoppers. Maybe just turn down the drinks inside and just hold it. read more

I'm always down for a mall trip. Especially if said mall has my favorite store - Lush. This mall had that and more. Really amazing clothing store selection and a pretty good food court as well. The only downside was an experience I had at one of the kiosks. The guy selling essential/fragrance oils in the center of the mall was very forceful and rude towards me. Served me right for fooling with the kiosk sellers, but the mall should really keep note of who they're inviting in to sell things. read more

Mall needs to go back to pre-Covid hours already. The closing early stuff isn't necessary anymore. a lot of people want to shop a little later in the evening to not deal with crowds. read more

The entire mall to include the outlying businesses like Costco, Starbucks, etc. is an absolute nightmare to traverse. Traffic sucks in a horrible way. Whoever designed the roadways, stop signs, lights, etc. should go back to civil engineering school. Don't come here if you value your time in any way. read more
