We stopped by here on our way to ny and I'm glad we did. My GF needed comfortable shoes for work…read morewith good support and quality. We didn't realize it was an outlet until she found the pair of shoes she saw online for much cheaper price. So she decided to get an additional pair of flats... but she was able to try it on to see which size fitted well. The two ladies there were super nice and helpful. My GF found the pair of shoes she wanted in red and the ladies helped her look for the black version she wanted and different sizes. According to the ladies, they're hand made so the sizes varies slightly and many people struggle with the sizing because they often fit in-between two sizes like my GF. Because its an outlet, it's really by chance if you find the pair of shoes you want, the color and size. But we got really lucky and found what she exactly wanted. She would have bought the wrong size and paid more if she got it online. These shoes are not cheap - most are $70 per pair. But for the comfort, support and hopefully durability, they're worth the investment. It's a really big store, very spacious clean and organized. Though it is big with a huge selection, you are really limited to the shoe stands that are 1-2 sizes within what fits you. They have a lot of selection for women. A small section for men. The return policy is 30 days but the ladies told us that they're flexible as long as the shoes are not worn outside. We're most likely going to be back if she needs/ wants more of their shoes. It's worth the drive.

After getting to the store and giving my name and order number, the unfriendly manager told me that the shoes were being shipped to an address I haven't lived at for two years. I showed him the email confirmation that had the store information on it twice and he was less than helpful and kept implying that I got it shipped to that address. The only option was to cancel the order on shoes that are now out of stock. I'll never come to this DSW again. I understand accidents happen but the attitude on this manager is unacceptable.

Now that we have high end retailers with their own discount stores it's really a good bargain…read morehunting ground for designer merchandise. That and the fact that the Rack organizes its stuff in a neat and orderly fashion around clean, easy to navigate aisles is what elevates it from a Ross or TJ Max. I have also shopped the Saks Off Fifth ( located right next door ) and still prefer the Rack to Saks. Saks has a tendency to pack clothes so tight you can barely get through them to find sizes. It's more akin to an upscale Burlington Coat Factory. Sizing is clear and clothes are easy to push through here. The discounts are generous, trust me on this, and they get even deeper during clear the Rack events. They also carry the prestige makeup brand Urban Decay as well as the already budget friendly NYX!
