Danny is very responsive online and by phone. I've got my bike fixed next day. Great service!

I needed a speciality job done. I had a spring fork that I wanted to put on my low ride cruiser, but had no luck doing it myself. So I brought it here because he did some work for me before. He took the job on and completed it, and also gave me more than a fare price. I HIGHLY recommend this little shop. This guy is seriously cool, great mechanic and the best prices your going to find. If you need bike work done, bring it here, you will not be disappointed. He's the bike wizard.

Danny can even repair velo-bikes such as the Elf 2FR!

As the store is open very late during summer hours, I've become close to Steve and Danny, the owners.

Always reliable and fair pricing. Convenient location on Broadway. I mean if you get a flat on LSD…read moreit's relatively easy to walk over to Broadway since it runs parallel and throw your bike on a bus. For my single speed and racing bikes always on time with good service and fair pricing. Nice selection and if you don't see it they have no problem ordering direct. Quality small local business. Check them out, Spring is coming.

In response to the (mostly) positive reviews to this place, I trusted them to provide quality…read moreservice. My rating is due to bike service issues, not personnel. The workers were what you'd expect as far as being nice - but the mechanics are amateur at best. After my first disappointment with their routine "maintenance service", I wanted to give them another shot with my brakes. After all, I yearn to have a good relationship with a local bike shop. And sadly, it's a bigger disappointment than my first visit. I asked for them to bleed both brakes. I received a call saying they're "fine" and suggested NOT bleeding brakes; but the pads and rotors were caked in oil and other residue (I cleaned them both 3 days ago). But I figured you gotta trust the pros, right? Wrong. I figured they'd replace the pads, clean the rotors and call it a day. After all, I hadn't sanded the pads this past time and they are getting old (10 months). Nope, just VERY poorly sanded the existing brake pads, cleaned the rotor below my normal standard and was charged nearly $50. For that. To sand 4 little brake pads and (presumably) apply some rubbing alcohol to the rotors. $50. Look at the picture of the brake pads after they serviced them. Lmao. I could have done that for $2 at home since all I need is a little more rough sand paper. Ha. And no, it didn't help my brakes at all. They produced very little friction, we're extremely loud and there was even a clicking noise from my drivetrain on my ride home I haven't even diagnosed yet. I just had to write this review. Ha. Should have just told them to screw off and bleed the damn brakes. To me, it's simple. This is a classic big city bike shop that is money hungry. $50 for that is LAUGHABLE. I could take this to my hometown bike shop and for that money they'd do a bleed, drivetrain clean, fork pressurization, frame clean, etc. And after all that, I still need my brakes bled. They didn't do it. Ha. EDIT: Attached is the video of my new wheel sound! I think it's just the dork disk, but still.
