Super friendly staff! Would like a few more menu and beer options but quality for what they have. Looking forward to going back!

The prices on everything keep creeping up while the quality goes down. I understand food inflation, but coupled with declining quality I'm just no longer a regular customer anymore. The last 3 times I've gone, the fries were very brown on the outside but not overcooked, indicating the oil was old and needed to be changed, this gives them an off flavor that's not good. When done right, their fries are fantastic, however this is a regular issue now. Also, they changed their burger in the past year, something I used to order a bunch, but not at all anymore. It used to be a grass fed patty and now they call this a wagyu blend, but it's awful and tasteless compared to the old one. Additionally, their wings (for some reason only when getting to-go) are either way over sauced, sitting in a pool of sauce and thus get soggy or they're under-sauced. The issue with the oil is really what gets me though. I'm guessing they're dragging it out longer before changing it to save money, but they're doing it at the cost of quality and now they've lost a regular customer. I may revisit next year, but not anytime soon. Employees are relatively friendly and service is ok, ambience is typical of a wing joint.

I really like their inside and outside murals. When we went to order, Stephen Monahan introduced himself to us, as he was manning the bar at the moment. He is the head brewer/owner. My husband commented on them having a Roggenbier. Rye beers are not often something we find on taplists. This one, Roggen Roll Dude!, had a sweet that balanced the bitter of the rye. It was a collab between Monolith and Alley Brews. I enjoyed their German Helles Lager, EO's Dream. Solid, to style and refreshing. We like to also do tasters and discuss, so we got a taster of Nanner Nutz, a Peanut Butter Banana Stout; Vorpal Blade, Roasted Jalapeno/Serrano Ale and Lord of the Links, Smoked Sausage Stout and a collab with A Bit Twisted Brewpub. All were unique and fun to try. This is a worthy stop for some fun brews.

There were a couple dozen people participating in a sushi making class, which we thought was a very interesting and entertaining activity for a brewpub. Their electronic menu board indicated that cooking classes are frequent. The very friendly bartender welcomed the pup in, and served my wife and me a very tasty beer each. Customers came over and greeted our little puppy and told us how cute they thought he was. A very pleasant trip to the pub all around. We'll head back for another visit the next time we're in the area.

I'm the weirdo that actually likes Malort, along with other bitter stuff like amaros and Campari. What grosses me out is sweet stuff, so I'll take all the bitter stuff. To respect the event I was attending, my objective at Trash Hawk was to obtain a ginger beer to have with my burger. They did not have ginger beer but offered ginger ale. They sat down a drink in my vicinity that had a lime with it and it took a sip, and it turned out to be a margarita that belonged to a nice lady. I was confused why there was a lime. The bartender gave me my ginger ale and made the lady a new margarita. Being a trash panda aficionado, I was delighted with the aesthetics of the place. Someday when I'm not striving for sobriety, I'll be back.
