When I picked up the items the sweater had a blue spray type something all over the sleeve and front, the pillow cover still had a small stain on it, and the dress was pressed poorly. I had them redo the sweater and pillow cover and just took the dress. When I picked the items up today, they had WASHED the 100% dry clean only pillow cover! It is a ruined, wrinkled, falling apart mess! And they just handed to me as if nothing was wrong. What kind of dry cleaner washes something that is labeled dry clean only? I could have ruined it myself for free! Also the sweater was still stained. Needless to say I will never go back and should have learned my less before this happene.

I don't usually write reviews, but there's one situation that specifically made me want to write one. I was stressing out a lot because I realized I needed my suit earlier than I had originally asked. I was worried it wouldn't be possible to get the tailored suit any earlier. But the owners were so understanding! They looked further into my situation and were actually able to get the suit to me THE SAME DAY!! Now THAT is service!! I don't get alterations often, but I felt like the price was pretty fair. I paid $126.85 altogether with taxes: this included pretty major alterations to my two piece suit PLUS full pressing and dry cleaning. They did all of that in less than a week for me, which I felt was super fast!! While the price is good, I'm really writing this review for the service. The couple who run this place are just so kind and friendly. They have absolutely earned my stamp of approval; I'm not sure when I'll need dry cleaning and tailoring services again, but I am sure of who I'll be going to for help! I was told they would call me with a quote before doing the work, but they never did. Instead, I received a text saying my items were ready for pickup. When I arrived, I was shocked to find they charged $20 to hem a single pair of shorts--shorts that only cost me about $25 to buy. I would never have approved that price had they called me as promised. They also charged $7 just to cut my wife's blouse, even though I had asked about having it properly hemmed. I asked them to keep the blouse and hem it correctly. When I returned, they wanted to charge me another $22 to hem it. I asked them to apply the $6 credit that the husband had already agreed to after acknowledging my concerns, but the wife argued with me and refused. The most frustrating part wasn't just the prices--it was the lack of communication. If they had called me with the quote as promised, I would have declined the work before it was done. In my opinion, the pricing is excessive, the communication was poor, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a cleaners, and I won't be returning.

Before leaving it, I specifically verified with the manager that they were able to properly clean real leather. She confirmed that they could. When I picked it up a week later, the coat was completely ruined -- the leather was faded, there was a hole in the front, and the sleeves were damaged. When I showed the manager, she said she didn't have to inspect it when it returned from the outside company that actually did the cleaning. I requested the name of the company they used and their business insurance information from both the manager and owner. They refused to provide it. Even my attorney attempted to get the information, but the owner still refused to cooperate. I eventually had to take them to small claims court, but the judge wouldn't review all the photos, emails, or attorney letters. The judge stated I should sue the company that cleaned the coat -- even though Royal Cleaners was the one who hired them and took responsibility for the service. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. If you value your leather or designer items, do not take them to this cleaner.
