When I put the dress on, it still had spots on it and I had to stand in front of the church with these stains on my dress. Of course he re-cleaned it when I returned to town. So, I just took some more clothes to help him redeem himself...same thing. I took 22 items and 20 came back clean. So I suggest you check your clothes before you leave. Customer service is great however, personality does not trump performance.

As I chatted with the friendly owner at the counter, when seeing the sewing machine and colorful rows of threads, I couldn't help but think of my late Mother, as she too was a seamstress. I have her old Kenmore sewing machine among the treasured ancestral artifacts in my sacred space at home. I had been wanting to make a change in where to take my dry cleaning, and reading the positive reviews on Yelp for Dry Clean City, although they're further from my home than at least ten other dry cleaners, I decided to make the trek to give them a try. I felt a kindred spirit as soon as I walked in the door. This is not your usual chain operation here, this is a husband and wife team who've put their personal touch into their business for the last 21 years. As I'm on the verge of taking a long anticipated trip to Portugal and Morocco, I took 12 shirts, three pairs of pants, and one sport coat for dry cleaning, with one shirt also needing mending, after the edge of the lint filter in our dryer grabbed the hem of that garment, and wrapping the shirt into a tight ball, it also tore a hole at the seam. First, the wife at this cleaners did a masterful job of saving that shirt for me, it's as good as new, and for a very reasonable price no less. As for the dry cleaning, I'm sold, everything came out perfectly. I'll be looking dapper for my upcoming trip. But most of all, the reason I know I've found a new place to entrust the care of my highly valued garments with, is this husband and wife team, who put love into the work of their hands. As icing on the cake, their friendliness draws you in upon entering the door for the first time. You just know, these are great souls, they're caring people, and this is a clean operation, a business whose workmanship will help to build our self esteem, as we wear the stylish clothes they've renewed for us time and again. I went for the dry cleaning, but I'll be returning for the friendship, and for their personal touch, in helping their customers feel good about ourselves. But nothing too bad or different from any other dry cleaner I've used. I've been pleased with the price and overall quality. The issue I had is with customer service and using their coupons. The past two times I dropped off my clothes (via the drive-thru), I've been rudely reminded to present my coupon before I hand them my clothes, not when I pay. Not a pleasant reminder, but more of a 'now I have to go back and ring up each item all over again.' I don't dry clean too often so I had honestly forgotten their coupon process from before. It's a simple process that I'm sure regulars are used to, and apparently really frustrates the cleaners if not done properly. As an alternative to potentially frustrating yourself and customers with how coupons are accepted, how about asking up front 'do you have any coupons?' Or, instead of stating on the coupon; 'must present coupon at drop off', which I did, have it more accurately read 'present prior to handing over items.' The cleaner did come back out after applying the coupon and further explained their coupon process in a more friendly and professional tone, which I appreciated. Just wish folks would treat customers nicely and with respect all the time, even when we are not as familiar with how you do business as you are.
