This is the only local laundromat that uses Electrolux machines, which is the top brand for washing machines. Before coming to this place I've tried drop-off service at a good number of laundromats within 45 minute distance (yes 45 - that's how long I'm willing to drive to avoid doing my own laundry). I've decided to settle on WaveMax. Pros: - New Electrolux machines - Reloadable payment cards, no more tumbling to find quarter coins - Convenient drop-off, and receive a text message when your fresh clothes are ready. Name tag printed on each bag. No stupid paper ticket, no worries my bags are mixed with other people. Every now and then you just need a HUGE washer for bedding and such. I read the reviews on line and gave this place a try. Super clean! It is new and well maintained. They have different size washing machines for you to choose from. The huge ones are more expensive to use but that makes sense. I had no problem finding a machine to use and the machine was clean and well maintained. You have to get a special card to use with the machines. You add money to it from your personal credit or debit card. You can reload the card in $15 increments using the Laundry Card Machine along one of the walls. You can also attach your cell number to the card so that as the machine you're using finishes up, it texts you to let you know. Great place for when you need a laundromat! read more

I have a king size bed and have been putting off washing my comforter (gross I know!); I finally decided to Google the nearest laundry mat near me today. WaveMAX popped up and I decided to load up the comforter and do a drive-by. The place looked clean enough from the outside. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the friendly lady working there. I wish I knew her name! She was very helpful. I told her I'd never been before and just needed to wash my giant comforter. She gave me a pre-loaded card for the machine, walked me over and explained how to work it and load my card. It was $6.50 I think for the giant machine and then only $.25c to dry! It took 2 dry cycles; 8 min each to dry, but that was fine. I was in and out in about 40 min. The attendant was very welcoming and friendly. I'll be back to wash my comforter more often! read more

This has to be the nicest laundromat I've ever seen in my life. I mean, the owner spared no expense in his equipment. All of the machines are state of the art top of the line commercial washers. Either smaller loads for clothing or they have several machines that can take large heavy blankets, ext. It all runs off a card you get at the main terminal. You should link it to your phone cause it texts you when your laundry is done so you can run up the street to Starbucks to kill time! Also I guess if you lose your card you phone number and something else allows you to replace it at the machine. There's always someone there so you can ask them for help. Definitely go here guys! Our dryer broke so we came here with many baskets. Immediately found the place clean and friendly. No coins needed! First timers get a brand new wash card with three dollars already on it. You can add payment to the card with cash or credit. Average size washers are $3.50. Small are $2.50 and large are $5. I saw people putting multiple comforters in the large size, so they're really big. Dryers are $.25 for each run of 10 minutes. Superfast super easy. Definitely made a bad day go better! read more

Welp all good things must come to an end rather all adventurous things must come to an end and I'm not trying to bring back no dirty laundry literally so I googled fluff and fold and I found this spot and a wonderful young lady by the name of Shakeena answer the phone when I call and answer my questions and assure me that it will be done today since I had just one load sure enough I brought it down dropped it off now if you're wondering why I didn't fucking phone well I'm still looking for places here in Plano so I didn't really have the time to do it myself but anyways beside the point as I said I brought it down and sure enough I handed to her now they have a selection of your generic soap your standard soap tired again which cost a bit more I myself use tired or you can bring your own soap whatever you choose but the laundry was done fast just like if I did it myself it was clean for the professionally and bagged so essentially just go back to my room pack it and I'm good to go so what I recommend this place if you're in Plano downtown Plano yes and again I would recommend whose name I mentioned above. When I first found this place I was very happy. I've not had to use a laundromat in years. I came on Mondays and the attendant was so very helpful and continued to clean all the time I was present. I seldom use a laundromat and never before I've had a good experience doing it. However this place absolutely knocked my socks off. I chose to use the laundromat today because I had two weeks of regular laundry, ski gear from our recent ski trip and a ton of blankets from the recent freeze of 2020. I was looking at days at single load at a time washing and drying in the house so I thought what the heck. It was a 20 minute drive across town but the reviews were so good I decided it was a better shot than the ones closer to home and I was not disappointed. The place was spotless and attended to make sure it stayed that way. I've never before had a laundry concierge come over and show me how to use the machines, offer to help, and stop by frequently to make sure everything was working well. They were on the spot on cleaning and maintaining the machines and the facilities. While most of the other gas in the facilities probably are not blessed to have their own washing machines, they were all very polite and nice and also helpful in picking up each other socks, etc. They don't except coins in their machines. Instead you get a card that you pre-purchase on so you need to understand how much it costs. Each machine is also equipped with the ability to text you as it's approaching its finishing time so you know exactly when your laundry is finished, get there before it's done, I know exactly what machine you need to go to win. The wash machines ran from $3.50 to five dollars depending on the cycle in size of the machine you used. They were all in perfect working order and maintenance. The dryers were $.25 an increment. It took me $.75 to a dollar to dry the loads with comforters and heavy bedding and about $.50 to do the other laundry. The only drawback is that the machines are locked when they're in service and you can't stop it or at least I didn't know how. The only downside of this was that I was not able to open up and close the machine to hang up the professional pants and shirts that I usually take out of the dryer before letting it stop to keep the wrinkles out. Still the temperature was 100% appropriate as promised. Thank you for the great experience. I'm going to do this next time I have a lot of laundry to do too I think. read more

My first visit was to wash a couple quilts. There's a good assortment of sizes of washers and dryers and the place was nice and clean. Cost me $11 to wash and dry 2 quilts which was great! Regarding covid precautions, there is a Mask Required sign but it wasn't being enforced; luckily it wasn't crowded while I was there. A bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter would be nice and wipes for customers to wipe down the appliance knobs. read more

Can't use bleach and liquid detergent at the same time. Super expensive. You have to purchase a card, minimum $10. Cheapest wash is $6 with cold water. They will not give you a refund for any money you don't use. Didn't realize this until after I purchased (she walked me through how to purchase the card, but decided to leave that bit out). I've been coming here once a week for about 8 months and it's been ok - clean facility, nice people, and the equipment drys my belongings quickly, so I'm not spending all day at the laundromat. However, last Thursday when I made my weekly trip I brought in a trash bag of towels with some sand in it. I had to break the bag to get to my towels, which resulted in sand getting everywhere, and the nice samaritan as I am, asked the staff for a broom so I can clean my mess. When my towels were completed I asked the newer attendant (young, shoulder length black hair) for a trash bag bc I forgot to bring one for my clean towels and she said she had to call and ask the owner. Uhm. Alright. Its literally just a 20 cent trash bag. She came back from her phone call and stated the owner said I can buy a laundry bag, and refuses to give me a trash bag. Wow. Greeeeeeeeeedy. So thank you Harry (I believe that's your name?) for being greedy to a loyal customer. Once my card runs out I'm going elsewhere. I don't need to be spending my hard earned money at a place that won't let me have 1 damn trash bag so I'm not juggling clean towels to my car. read more

Modern and easy reloadable card system, FAST and efficient washer and dryers, good stock of vending machine items, both snacks and laundry items, as well as plenty of laundry carts. The location is clean, and usually not too busy. They also offers by the pound washing, drying, and folding services which is also helpful. Hands done this is my favorite place to wash. They are so friendly and helpful to newcomers! Their is a very nice lady, that works the weekday mornings/afternoons I believe, who I see always wiping down everything after each wash. They are very cleaned and I love that they offer extra detergent, softener, etc in case you run out. They are a lot busier in the evening time but I go during the morning and the most amount of people I've seen is 4. Highly recommend read more
