There is a reason their prices are low...THEY SUCK!!! I took a $200, only-worn-once dress there to be cleaned, along with my comforter. They told me that the rhinestones on the dress "may pose a problem," but they "mostly thought it would be fine." I said ok, did not sign anything like a waiver, and crossed my fingers. What I did not expect was the fact that they would RUIN MY DRESS! When I went to pick it up, I was shocked to see that no, the rhinestones were not a problem, but the black coloring from the skirt had completely bled onto the cream-colored top of the dress. It looked like it had been dunked in water...like a freaking Easter egg! When I demanded the cost of the dress, as I could never wear it again, the Manager shrugged and said, "All we can do is give you 10 times what you paid to have it cleaned, which was TWO DOLLARS. Grand total I got back: $25. Oh, but let us not forget that when he gave me back my comforter, it still had the same stains on it as before I dropped it off. I asked if they even cleaned it. He smirked and said "Of course." He then tried to CHARGE ME the $19 for NOT cleaning the comforter. So...grand total I got back AFTER he took out the $19 for NOT cleaning the comforter...$5. When I asked where I could send a letter-like to the main offices of Dry Clean City, he said, "There is nothing we can do, and there is no place you can write to...this is it. Besides, it was the clothing manufacturer's fault...write them." When I incredulously asked, "How can it be THEIR fault, YOU cleaned it...??," again he shrugged and said, "It's not our fault, there's nothing we can do about it." This whole scene played out, by the way, with all 5 of the people who worked there staring me down, like it was the Old West, and this was a showdown. So, yeah, I am out $200, my beautiful dress, and my comforter still reeks, but THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. What is wrong with this picture?? PLEASE do not go there!! They apparently do not know what they are doing, and WHEN they ruin something, they will: A. Be completely unprofessional and unapologetic B. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Cheap and you get what you pay for. Not only is the place filthy and has no AC the staff is rude and they do a terrible job of cleaning garments. I've had to make multiple trips to have my garments re-cleaned. The last straw was when they mysteriously lost my designer pants and never confessed of their mistake but instead lied and said that my wife pick them up then said they don't know what happened to them.I'm writing this review to warn those who are considering this place. This is a good place to take basic clothes. It is a little chaotic inside and I wonder how they keep all the orders straight, but somehow they do. I do not take my wife's expensive clothes or anything fancy, like silk blouses. It is difficult to pull into the parking lot if you are going east on 54. You have to make a tight u-turn. read more

I bring my dress pants and suits here to be dry cleaned. They turn it around quickly without any hassle. They've been able to clean a few spots out of ties as well. Cheap, quick, easy. The hardest thing about going here is having to flip u-turns when leaving their driveway because of the location at an intersection. First world problems people. read more

I took two suits in for Dry Cleaning in March or 2017 and the machine that was used ripped a 2 inch gash on both jacket right arms. I took them back to the manager and he said the they will speak to the owner about reimbursement. I have purchased 2 brand new suits from Joseph A Banks (cost $800 for both ).It has been almost a year now and I continued taking my clothes there. Each time I go in and ask about my money, they always say "I will call the owner". I went in on 1/26/2018 and demanded half($400 for my suits) and they said the they went on line and looked up the value. Therefore the could only offer $120 for both jackets...I took one of my new suits and showed them the price. Then I asked for the owners phone number. Dry cleaners fall into two categories: the places you go for cheap, routine jobs, and the places you go when you desperately need a stain removed and are willing to pay any price. Dry Clean City belongs to the former category. I bring clothes here in bulk every month, and don't pay much for it - $1.79 for any kind of garment. They do a fair job of removing stains, actually, though I usually don't expect it. Lines form during peak hours before and after work, so I try to slip in during mid-morning or afternoon. Cleaning is quick too, and you'll usually get your clothes back after 5pm the next day. read more

I have used this cleaners for years mainly because they have had the best prices around. The one blaring issue that I have always had with this store was that standing in the store waiting for my clothes has been nearly unbearable due to the heat. I always assumed it was a combination of the heat producing pressing machines and the fact that they obviously didn't have an air conditioner. Until now I was willing to bear the heat stroke temperatures because the prices were worth it. Now I see that they have raised their prices it is just not worth nearly fainting in the sweltering heat now that they have raised their prices. You would think that the extra revenue from increased prices that the owner would invest in an air conditioner to make it more comfortable for the customers. Apparently profits are more important and I am sure I won't be the first or last customer that has just had enough! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE. They lost my $400 suit pants and tried to claim that it was NC state law that they are only responsible to reimburse me 10x what I paid to dry clean it. Similar to previous post, I had a custom made suit that came back with a 4 inch gash in the pants. Manager refused to take responsibility. Refused to give name or phone number of owner. Said she did not know who the owner is. Pretends not to speak English. I had been a customer for over 6 years. Not any more. This is the worst dry cleaner I have ever used. The saying "you get what you pay for" and "pennywise and pound foolish" is applicable here. I was sucked in by the low per piece price. My clothes smelled like chemicals when I picked them up and even after they aired out. I brought them back to be re-cleaned and the "owner" (I think) was very rude and dismissive claiming the clothes did not smell. Luckily the front end worker took some of them back but not all of them. Unfortunately he did not give me a claim check so when I picked them up, I discovered they had given me someone else's blouse (which I returned to them) and I am missing a very expensive silk burberry scarf. Understand, if I could give zero stars I would. This is one of the worst dry cleaning experiences I've ever had. I got there after the time the cashier told me my clothes would be ready. My clothes were not ready. I had to wait nearly an additional 30 minutes to get my things. I was polite the entire time but expressed my displeasure. I made it clear that I wasn't just upset about my clothes not being ready but that the employee was looking me in my face and lying to me about what she said. She was rude and absolutely refused to offer any remedy to the situation. I spent nearly $60 in there and expressed that I wasn't looking for anything big but simply a waiver for at least one garment just to honor the mistake and how it impacted my time and my schedule. Discourteous at best, downright rude most likely and full on dishonest at worst. Highly difficult to get in and out of building location; located in corner of multi-road intersection. Nightmare at rush hour. Several large speedbumps. Just moved, went on website to look at times of business and saw a tab prominently labeled "coupons". Took picture of 10% new customer coupon. Showed coupon when dropping off clothes and the girl at the register called over a man who appeared to be in charge. He said that the coupon had to be applied at the end and although they normally require payment upfront - I should come back between 5pm-7pm the next day and pay when everything was ready for pickup. When I returned the next day, promptly at 5pm the girl at the register called over a Woman, who appeared to be in charge, about the coupon. This woman flat out refused that any coupons exist for the business, insinuated that the picture I had off of - their own website - was "a fake" and that the "system does not allow for any price reductions". I told her it was just a good faith gesture for a new customer to honor the website and she refused. Following up to tell me to go to another dry cleaners if I want and that maybe I "could get lucky when [he] is at work". I did not really care about 10% off but I did need a new local dry cleaner and starting off a relationship with such misleading business tactics was very unnerving. I brought my husband's shirts in to be dry cleaned and they lost them. They gave me the phone number for the manager but he never answered his phone and wouldn't return my calls. I stop by there all the time but the manager is never there and the people working claim they do not know his schedule and are not sure when he'll be in. Whatever you do, don't go there!! read more

I brought a pink top with beads, hardly worn without stains. It came back with a stain. They could not remove it and Nina would not accept responsibility. I gave her my number for Patel, the owner to call me, but he did not. I went there for 11 years. I can't go back. read more

I had been looking for an affordable dry cleaner for a while so was excited when I found this business. However, I will not be returning. Very poor customer service. First, I came to pick up my dry cleaning a week after it said it would ready, and it still was not ready. Second, when I came back again to pick up my items, they couldn't locate one. They spent 15 minutes going through the racks and finally located it. After this- which was a fault of their own- they still charged me for the item. When I mentioned I thought I should not have to pay, they said that I indeed should, "because we cleaned it." When I took out my card to pay, they said they had a minimum purchase amount for cards and I could not pay that way. After I paid with cash, I was not given so much of a thank you, or a receipt for my purchase. The simple decency of good customer service was missing and I will not be back. read more

They lost four of my shirts. It's been three weeks and they still can't seem to get through to the place that cleaned them and (according to Dry Clean City) lost them. I asked to speak to the owner. The manager refuses to give me the name or number of her boss; says she doesn't know who it is. I will never use this place again! read more

Nothing much has changed, ruined a pair of pants and said sometimes stains don't appear until after they are dry cleaned. They refused to acknowledge they had a manager and would not give me his name, they say they don't know his schedule and have no way to contact him. they said this has never happened before and don't have any way to deal with it if the pants are damaged. The place is better than before, i guess they have new owner. They do best job. I always dry clean my clothes from them. No complaints.

I used this business for standard dry-cleaning, laundry needs about 2-3 times a month for about a year. After my last visit I received a jacket back that had been badly damaged with holes in the back and marks that indicated burning. I am positive that the damage did not exist when I brought the jacket in, and that it occured during the cleaning process. The employee that I spoke with could not let me speak with a manager, but relayed a message from him that the damage had occured after I picked up the garment and that they denied any responsibility. They not only refused to reimburse me for the damage, but called me a liar in their justification of their refusal. I was given a phone number of the owner/manager and left a number of polite messages in an attempt to address the situation, none of which were returned. This incident not only paints a poor picture of their customer service; it also draws a serious question about their overall business sense. Instead of reimbursing me $30-40 for the damage done and retaining a loyal and regular customer who was spending $30/a month, $360/ year with them, they turned me away to take my business elsewhere.
