Dropped off a suit over a week ago. They told me Tuesday didn't give me a time. I show up Tuesday morning to pick up the suit they tell me all pick ups are after 5 pm. Don't go to this place bad service so many better cleaners in the area that will do the work much faster. read more

Awful. Why? 1) my new shirts had holes under armpits. The owner said I must have had snags that made holes. "It happens sometimes" he said. "Funny, they are each the exact same-sized star-shaped hole in exact same location under each armpit" I replied. He offered zero resolution. Due to large 2" star shape they could not be patched or repaired. Someone did not know what they were doing. Owner kept blaming a "snag" taking no responsibility, shameful. 2) my 7 white shirts all had makeup left on collar. He said "oh we worked and worked and could not get makeup off". wow! that's their job!! They did not use Correct cleaning process. Ruined, and unwearable and again took no responsibility. 3) I had paid $99 upfront! to get "10%" discount. never again! 4)he definitely had the air that no way could he do ANYthing! 5) workers were laughing in the back read more

What a pleasant surprise doing business with this dry cleaner store. The staff were very friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient. I was happy they were able to remove a stain from my dress. They gave me a receipt with my pick-up information. When I picked up my dress they came out and took my receipt and brought my dress to the car and offered to put it in the car. I had a faux leather jacket, which I took to three other places to get dry cleaned. One refused to do it, stating it was too risky. Another said they would do it, but I had to sign all sorts of waivers. A third said they would do it for $40. I was about to give up when I came upon this place. They said they would do it no problem, expressing awareness that yes, humans do sweat and jackets need to be cleaned once in a while too, and assured me it would come out just fine. And they would charge me the regular amount for outerwear - just $9! AND they said it would be ready same day. This is my new go-to spot. read more

While visiting from out of state I discovered Sherrill"s Cleaners. I have used this cleaners for the entire 8 weeks I've been here. The service is amazing. Top Notch in every way. I have never been so happy with how my clothes were cleaned. Im one whom never leave reviews but this warrants one. The staff there are so pleasant and friendly. I have never used a dry cleaner but had some shirts with stains I couldn't get out. Drove up to the convenient drive up service on Saturday afternoon and a very nice young lady helped me figure out starch and such and told me I could pick up my items Monday evening. I picked them up and I kid you not at least 3 of my items look brand new. I mean they were older dress shirts and I just can't believe how amazing they look. Super impressed and might I add that they were the only dry cleaner in Brier Creek with Saturday hours. I think we will be regular clients now read more

Do NOT use these guys. I took a suit in - very routine cleaning... One button was completely destroyed on the jacket front, 4 of 8 sleeve buttons are damaged to the point of needing to be replaced, all other exterior buttons show sign of damage (major scratching and chipping). I've had this suit and many other suits cleaned before and nothing like this has ever occurred. It was a custom suit, nothing fancy, but the buttons were unique. They were inexpensive to replace, but the owner refused to foot the bill and argued that no cleaners would guarantee that buttons wouldn't be damaged. I've been to other cleaners; buttons do get scratched, BUT they're rarely destroyed and the owners have replaced them without arguing. So much for customer appreciation and service. If you chose to use these guys, have a good tailor on hand. Luckily I did. read more

The owner refused to take any responsibility, gave all kinds of excuses and tried to tell me it was the fabric quality that caused it to happen. I've had this dress dry-cleaned regularly at other cleaners for 2 years without any problems. Do not go here if you value your garments. read more

I recently moved to the area and was recommended to this place by a college friend. She had a dirty WHITE rug cleaned by Sherrills, and it was spotless (mind you she had it for four years and never washed it). She also told me they where reasonably priced and i should check them out. I so I decided to take my items there, and try it out. I was greeted with a hello how are you. They do it all! I had a shaggy rug that had a bunch of hair and dirt in it, a white blouse, a leather jacket, jeans that has metal fringe detailing along the side, and a pink skirt that was ripped along the back seam. They passed every test leather, white, sewing, rugs, jeans with detailing. I was very satisfied with everything and the overall service. Every item of clothing was perfectly cleaned. No rips tears smells or anything wrong with my clothing. Don't be fooled by the previous not so good reviews. I was also accidentally charged less than what I was required to pay. Instead of calling me to pay the difference, they said happy holidays. I will be sure to come back again and continue to use their services. read more

They lost one of my shirts. The owner had promised to call me the next day regarding the missing shirt. He never called and my attempts to follow back up have been met with unreturned phone calls. I wouldn't trust them to get all of your clothes back to you. read more

We have had nothing but good experiences at Sherrill's Cleaners. I LOVE that they have a drive-thru area, so I don't have to wake up sleeping babies or drag 3 kids out of their carseats only to load them up again a few minutes later. Make sure you ask for a receipt when you drop your clothes off. They typically don't offer one if you are a regular customer. I dropped off 2 items and only got one back and the owner swore I only dropped off one item. He has very poor customer service skills and does nothing to try to satisfy the customer. He wasn't even around when I dropped the items off. He looked at camera footage but it doesn't show me giving the items to employee in the drive thru. He needs to learn how to treat his customers. read more

RUN the other way. I left about 8 items (silk blouses, cashmere sweater, slacks and a blazer that was part of a suit. They cannot be found! I am told the owner "watched security tapes" but can't find them. Interesting when I went to pick them up the young lady was able to describe the items to me before I said anything. Owner took several months to call me back and today left a very dismissive message. He is "sure the items can be replaced with the $427 dollars he is willing to give me" The items cost over $1000 and the suit blazer cannot be replaced. I will not be back and hope others find better options. There are two other cleaners within a quarter of a mile from here. I will be taking my business elsewhere and hope you do also. read more

I had purchased a Groupon for this dry cleaner before visiting them as they were less expensive than my regular cleaners and are very convenient location wise. When I arrived with my comforter, the employee told me that they could not take it due to pet hair (my dog does lie on the bed) as it would "clog their filters" - she recommeded I use a lint roller on it myself! I then drove to my regular cleaner who has cleaned the item several times and was happy to take it again, pet hair and all. I guess the old adage "you get what you pay for" is absolutely true - will not try this place again and am out the price of the Groupon! read more

I have used them many times, but recently I dropped something off for a small alteration. They gave me a ticket quoting one price (even written and circled by the employee) , then when I showed up, they had tacked on $5 more for "sewing charge" which of course should have been included in the initial alteration. Bait and switch! I was in a hurry or would have stood my ground and only paid what they had quoted. They got my $5 but that's the last they'll get from me. read more

Mike and I have both been going to this Sherrill's long before we even knew each other. I highly recommend them. Ease of use is key for me when it comes to dry cleaners and Sherrill's is the perfect solution. I pull up into their car lane, they walk out, greet me by name, take my clothes while asking me when I need them back and I'm off. Picking up the clothes is just about as easy since they have our credit card info on file there's no exchange of money other than a simple signature on the receipt. No matter what time I show up, the owner (shame on me for not remembering his name) is always cracking a friendly joke and on occasions it's enough to make me actually laugh out loud at 6:30am. read more

Only the second time I've used them - and they gave me someone else's things. The names weren't similar, pickup numbers not even close. Complete carelessness on their part. When I took the other person's clothes back, they argued with me and told me they didn't have my clothes, that the computer said the clothes had already been picked up. Of course the computer said that, I'd been there 15 minutes earlier. Then they had a difficult time finding my clothes - and didn't offer me any financial compensation or discount on further patronage when they finally DID find them. Have been using dry cleaners for 30 years, NEVER had this happen before. Will not be back. read more

Had a message yesterday evening from this cleaner that a blouse I had dropped off was already faded. This was a brand new $120 blouse I had worn once and it most certainly was not faded when dropped off. I called this morning and the man on the phone was very rude. He said I had to talk to the "counter girl" who only works on Monday and Friday and he does not know what is going on. When I said I don't work there so I certainly do not know what is going on, is there anyone there who does - he hung up the phone on me!!! read more

They are closer to our house and their prices are much better than where we have been going; however, they are not very personable. The girl at the front desk never smiles, and if you bring in a groupon, she gets sort of snippy. If you don't want us to have a discount-- don't sign up for Groupon. Once we use up the groupons, we will no longer go there. read more

I pull up through the drive through and someone comes out to take my things or to bring me my things. The girl at the counter already knows me by name so I'm in then I'm out. I have used this cleaner for a few months when i picked up some pants that I had dropped off to be cleaned. When I got home I realized that the hem had fallen out while at the cleaners I took the pants back so they could repair them I was accused of lying and they refused to pay to fix the damage. The sales rep was very condescending and rude. Though the owner apologized for the way I was treated they still charged me to fix the pants. I hope the $5 was worth it. I will not be back. read more
