I have been going here for years because it was a convenient location. Today the manager told me there is something to show and she brought out the 6 shirts and 2 pants, saying "It didn't happen here" I could tell she was worried so I decided to talk to the owner directly. When she put the owner on the line and he said the same thing "It didn't happen here and it was like that when it was dropped." The thing is he didn't even have a chance to see the shirts yet because he works in a different location. Accidents can happen. My Trina Turk dress was bleached. I was told to come back in the morning and speak to the manager Christina. I spoke to her and she was very argumentive and tried to blame me for bleach on the dress. The employee who initially help me agreed my dress didn't come in bleached! I was repeatingly given the run around by Christina and when I requested the owner number I was denied by Christina. Finally,a male employee called the owner and I was given $20 and $110 in dry cleaning services. I thought the situation was over. On two occasions the last one today my dirty clothes were returned dirty.....a dry cleaned tag stapled to the label and covered in plastic. I found out today Christina is the only responsible for cleaning garments. Christina is giving the owners business a bad name.....after the owner and I resolved the issue. We have taken our clothes to this dry cleaner (now 2.17) and have never had any problems. The are inexpensive, fast and friendly. We take our dress clothes, formal wear and laundering items here. You can't beat the price! We moved from CARY to Mebane NC and we still make the drive to Morrisville at least twice a month because we haven't found anything comparable. In fact, my husband took our clothes to a local place and they charged $12.00 per each dress, $4.00 for men's slacks, $20 for a ladies suit jacket and pants. My husband took a normal load of our laundry which would be @40.00 at 2.17 express, at this one in Mebane- the bill came in at $120.00!!!! Read that again... $120.00! My husbands fault for not asking for a price list. In any case, if you are hesitant because of some other reviewers, take a "test" load in and see how they do for you. I thought I'd give the place a few tries before deciding to review. The place is all business, no chit chat, no getting to know the customer. I'm okay with that for awhile. My clothes do indeed come back clean and pressed. However, a few of my golf shirts have come back with runs and pulls in them. This is not good in that they were a bit on the expensive side when I bought them. This brings up the question in my mind "Did I do this or did the cleaners?" Since don't know the specific answer to that question, I cannot necessarily fault them, but at the same time, I have a hard time believing I put those runs and pulls in my own shirts. read more

Cleaners are good for laundering shirts and some dry cleaning. They do charge a lot more for linens and they damage delicate items. This dry cleaner is right around the corner from me and I'm so fortunate to have them so close by. They are extremely efficient and my clothes and comforters are perfectly cleaned and pressed. As for the prices, you simply can't compete. My oversized down filled king comforter only cost $18 and turn around was 4-5 days, whereas the local competitors are $45 and up. On a side note, you have to pay when you drop off your items, which is different from other cleaners, but that is nothing. Staff is very friendly and helpful.. read more

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY RUDE, VERY OBNOXIOUS, VERY UNPLEASANT PERSONALITY. If zero star was an option, that would be my selection. Not the friendliest staff, and that was ok, I just wanted a good service. 1.99 to get my shirt dry cleaned is not a bad price, but I am willing to pay more in order to avoid dealing with a low energy, and a very nasty person. On several occasions they have ruined my sweaters at that cleaner. As a resolution, I decided to ask the staff to fold my sweaters instead of hanging them. Which in my opinion, I thought was a fair request. Today I went in to drop and pick up my cleaners, I reminded younger guy (blk) with the glasses and the earrings, to have my sweaters folded. The guy caught and attitude, was very brash, very rude, throwing my clothes all over the floor and he walked away and telling me to take my business elsewhere. The other staff (Latina) notice that she came over to finish helping me. I never had to deal with someone with such nasty attitude. I would expect a person working in customer service to possess a bit of decorum. A few weeks ago, I witnessed that same guy treating another customer very badly, since I was not there from the beginning, I was not sure what instigated the event. I've been going to this place since I moved to Morrisville almost 3 years ago. Today, they lost my business. I've brought my king sized comforter to be cleaned at this place at least 10-15 times with no problem. Today, they tell me that they can't clean my comforter because of dog hair. Seriously? There's no consistency in their policies, so I wouldn't reccomend this place. But the cut-price vendor certainly has a time and a place to be really valuable. And $1.99 is valuable for doing low-end bulk cleaning. Specifically, I send my dress shirts to be washed/pressed here. Ain't nobody got time to be ironing! First, let's state the obvious. Two bucks can't be beat. The low prices means that they necessarily have to do LOTS of business to make their business work. This means that service is fast - for better or worse. I've been in here several times and it is consistently frantic, functional, no-nonsense service. I'm in and out quickly, but it's not a warm fuzzy customer experience. Turn-around times vary, but I generally get my shirts back in about 4-5 days. Not super fast, but not too bad. [Update: I've now been getting my shirts back consistently in 3 days, which seems fine]. Cut-throat price also means details are missed. Want medium starch? Too bad. You get extra-heavy. So, pro-tip: ask for extra light starch unless you like a crispy plank of a shirt that would make the service staff at Downton Abbey proud. So this is my go to place for wash & press. My go-to place for fine dry cleaning is Crystal Cleaners & Tailor. The two together make me look spiffy. read more

Fantastic pricing, good customer service, and while only been a few times, have had zero problems with my clothes. At $1.99 per piece - which includes men's shirts, women's skirts, and even a woman's dress - it's incredibly priced. Now I don't know where they draw the line for charging more than that, but flip, I'm happy as a clam. I love this place and take all of my dry cleaning here. I have also brought my comforter here and they do a great job. You can drop off your clothes in the morning and they are ready by 5pm the next day. There are always coupons in my mailers so I save them and get an additional 20 cents off. Once they add your phone number to the system, your names come up on the receipt and you get a nice print out. The clothes are always clean and done when promised. read more

I went there three times the first one was ok. I return again 2 more times but really disappointed with the service and quality of work. Cannot removed the spots but still charge. The third time is the worst someone ripped the lining on the jacket but pretended nothing was done to it. Cannot press the clothes the way it should. This cleaners is new near to where I live, so of course the intrepid side of me had to try it out since it is the nearest one now. There are good points and bad points from my two visits. Let's get the less than wonderful over with first...the term "express" to me would denote faster than usual service. However, I turned my item in midday Friday and they stated they could have it back by 6pm Tuesday. I do not consider this time express time, my usual cleaners has done it by next business day 6pm. When I came to pick it up, it was put under the wrong section, and luckily the racks are near the desk so I could spot my item in the next numbered section to get the person to retrieve it. Now the good news...the price is inexpensive first of all, was impressed with that. Second, they did a good job on my cleaning, I inspected it while still in the store. These two points brought them up to three stars. In summary, for convenience and price, it's good, but there are some service items that I hope they work on in the future. read more

My suit cleaning scam for extra $1.99 dry cleaning gift certificates has finally been figured out! Similar "SOL" type customer service after they had admitted to a staining a shirt (little orange spots???) - still in wrapping, still with ticket. the catch... I notified them outside of the 2-day "oops we messed up" policy range? WTF!? Bottom line: spent a little money to mess up some expensive clothes. I can completely understand if something is going on in her life but she could have asked a different associate to help the customers. Rude, no sense of responsibility, owners never available, phone always busy. They burned one shirt before. It wasn't too expensive. So, I never took it back or reported to them. Recently, they burned another expensive shirt. I took it back, the guy told me that it is just extra starch and they should be able to clean it. They cleaned it again and it didn't come out. Now the same rude and famous Hispanic lady took over. She started by asking me that why did you wear the shirt? I told her that I don't check all laundry when I take them. I noticed when I wore this shirt. She started making faces, told me that she will have to talk to her boss and she would call me. I waited for few days (called several times and phone was ALWAYS busy). I stopped by and the same rude lady rushed and took over from another, while I was asking other. She told me that they cleaned again and it didn't come off. I asked OK, what would you like to do. She says that she didn't get a chance to talk to her manager. I asked her if she could call them now, she said no and told me that she didn't ask me to come and started making faces again, like she has no clue that why I would be there. I asked her that when should I follow up again, she shrugged her shoulders and told me that she wouldn't know that when she could get back with me. I told her that I can give her one more week and if I don't get a call, I will show up again. Lets see what happens on Monday. Perhaps I will have to write to BBB or report to Morrisville Chambers of Commerce or both. I will decide if I want to use them again, based on the outcome of this incident. I hate to waste my time, but feel that its unfair and they shouldn't get away, specially with the rude behavior. Update: Coincidentally, manager Sam called me within 5 minutes after posting above review (really within 5 minutes, could be a coincident) and offered me less than 1/2 the price of shirt and some store credit and they would keep the shirt. I declined. I didn't want to deal with the cleaning Nazi. No cleaning for you :). I insisted on full price (as listed on Macys, where I bought it), which they didn't agree to pay. I was a customer here for about 4 years until about a month ago. My wife had a dress there for a formal military event. I went to pick it up and they tell me that it did not get cleaned because a waiver was not signed. They could have called and asked one of us to come in and not wait until I get there for my other items. The event was also the next day. We've been going here since it first opened and are very happy with the service, the price and the quality of dry cleaning. The employees who work in the afternoons are just wonderful! Very polite, friendly and quick. No dry cleaners is perfect (I've worked in one and been a customer of dry cleaners for 30 years), but I think for the "value" Dry Clean X-Press does a great job. I used to use A Cleaner World and they lost my clothes a few time, destroyed a few shirts, and didn't have my cleaning ready when they said they would. Again, nothing is perfect, but I was paying 3 times as much there. Just b/c you pay more, doesn't make them perfect. Although their phone etiquette could be a little better I must say how much I appreciated the timely service that I recorded. I dropped off my suit on Wednesday and asked to have it back on Thursday is possible. The girl told me that she could have it by 3-4:00 on Thursday. In the meantime, my schedule had changed and I desperately needed it by 12:00 that afternoon. Although the phone service could need use some work-the did finally answer the phone and told me they could have it ready earlier. Then she called me back about 10 minutes later and told me it was actually already done and I could come pick it up( this was around 8:45/9 am). Very rude front desk clerk. She's a middle aged woman but don't know her name. I brought in hangers and placed them on the floor since they were in a bag. A courtesy in my opinion since I was recycling hangers. She very rudely said take them out of the bag and place them on a rack for hangers. I did this and placed my bag on the counter. She didn't even say thank you. There's no signage for minimum payments with a credit card either. Luckily I had cash to pay for my purchase. Then she waved the bag in my face and said,"I don't have to take your trash!" Totally rude customer service from this woman. I dropped off my mother's comforter to be dry cleaned. It is a light use comforter, used for three or so months a year, dry cleaned, and then stored away in a plastic storage bag. I dropped it off, paid for it, and was given a receipt that said it would be ready for pick up a few days later. No problem. Being a king size comforter, I assumed several days to a week. The day before we were to pick it up, someone called my mother to let her know the comforter wasn't ready, but she was super rude about it. She told my mother the comforter was extremely dirty and they had to ship it off to be washed because "it is so dirty we can't clean it." My mother was very taken aback because, as I said, the comforter is lightly used and washed regularly. It wasn't abnormally dirty at all, it just needed a cursory end of season cleaning. On top of that, the woman was overflowing with attitude about it, as is it was the disgusting thing she had ever handled and she was disgusted by my mother. She was given a new date to pick it up. My mom went to get it yesterday, a day after it was due back. She had not received any more phone calls about the comforter. When she arrived, no one knew where the comforter was. They made her go through all the comforters in the place, only to not find it. The woman there came out and again rudely told her to comforter was extremely dirty and she had to send it off to be deep cleaned, overflowing with the same amount of fake disgust and attitude she'd had on the phone. At this point, my mother told the woman the comforter was cleaned regularly and used lightly, so if it was that dirty, they obviously did something to it and wouldn't tell her. She told them at that point that, clean or not, she wanted her comforter back now. She was told it would be in today, Saturday. I went with my mother to get it. Surprise! The comforter wasn't there!!!!! AGAIN! Another woman helped us this time, and she was very apologetic about the whole thing, but the other woman stood there talking to her angrily in another language. I'm not sure what me or my mother did to this woman, but she obviously had some kind of an issue with us which I do not appreciate. We are paying customers - who had to pay in advance - and had done nothing to this woman. This woman should not be working directly with the general public. My mother was extremely angry at this point. This comforter was over a week passed when it should have been done, she has been insulted repeatedly and treated very rudely, and this is the third time she was told to come get it only to find out it wasn't there. Now, my mother is a very understanding person and very patient. She was willing to wait for the comforter as she won't be using it again until January. But after having this woman insult her the way she did and act so rude, my mother was out of patience and just wanted the comforter back, clean or not. So I told them to give me the address for the place they sent it to because I was going to go get it. It was over in Raleigh, so we drove all the way out there to get it. It was done, rolled, and in a bag, ready to go. We took it and left. When we got home, my mother was convinced that they had done something to it for it to be as dirty as this woman said it was, so she pulled it out and unrolled it. It was clean... but it was still wet. They rolled it and bagged it wet, which means when we put it away, had we not unrolled it, it would have gotten moldy. I had been going there for regular items and everything was fine until I took a white jumpsuit that I had worn for a party. Big mistake. They ruined it with yellow stains all over. They said I brought it with the stains which was not true otherwise they would have noted that when I dropped it. Even if I did, weren't they supposed to clean it? I got really upset when they wouldn't own up. The Latina lady that did the actual cleaning became very rude, started yelling and told me I was trying to get them to buy me a new dress! I told her she couldn't even afford the outfit & walked out but not without collecting at least the money I paid them which they didn't even want to refund.
