Of note, I have gone to this location many times before over the last few years and this has been standard practice for them to do. They didn't have stickers (which was annoying bc if the items don't get cleaned before I leave I won't have time to have them redone) but I understand that happens. What was really offensive and will be the reason I'm writing this review and will not return is that When I said perhaps I would take them somewhere else, the lady working there literally laughed out loud and said all because of stickers. She continued to be rude even when I explained that I just wanted to make sure the stains were actually removed and that's why I wanted them. I drove there to find out that they had "just had the truck pull away" and they wouldn't honor same-day service. By this time, it was 9:15 AM. The people on duty at both places were pleasant, but they didn't check their facts and sent me on a wild goose chase. In the end, they just wasted an hour of my time and I never got my items cleaned before my big event.

I took my WEDDING dress to this cleaners the week before my wedding to have it steamed and pressed. There was no detail on my dress - it was just plain silk taffeta - but they still charged $140 to steam it. Air and water. $140. Anyway. I paid them. Told them I needed my dress by Thursday, Friday at the latest - seeing as I was getting married on Saturday. They told me I "might" have it by Friday. Anyway. I dropped off my dress along with my cathedral length veil to be steamed (in addition to my custom hangar a friend made for me that had my married name on it). Thursday comes. No dress. Friday morning, the day before the wedding, they tell me my dress is ready. I walk in to pick it up and the lady hands me the dress from behind the counter - and it is IN A BOX. They did not press it. They did not steam it. THEY PRESERVED it. That's what you do AFTER a wedding. The dress was FOLDED and PRESERVED in a box - not to mention my veil was CRUMPLED in a ball underneath my dress in the box. And my custom hangar? Gone. When I asked where it was (through my tears at this point) they said they threw it away. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! They asked me why I couldn't wear it. I don't know, because it's FOLDED IN A BOX. Not pressed, wrinkle free, and on my nice hangar along with my veil. Anyway, LONG story short - they did, eventually send it back and press it correctly that same day. But I didn't have my dress until JUST before the rehearsal that evening - they did find my hangar in the trash... but did NOTHING to remedy the situation. Look, I paid $140 to have my dress and veil looking nice, NOT $140 to have it put in a box and give me a coronary the day before my wedding. I am a super laid back, easy-going, and understanding person, but this really sent me over the edge. I still can't believe they wouldn't even give me any type of credit, refund, or ANYTHING. I will NEVER in my life, EVER, EVER take an item of clothing to Deluxe Cleaners. In fact, I will make it my mission to tell everyone to take their clothing elsewhere. /rant

I decided to stop giving my business to this laundromat/cleaners for a couple of reasons. The…read morefirst time I dropped off some clothing items for dry cleaning (jeans, shorts) I was given a one-week turnaround time. There was no special care required for the jeans other than a request for laundry. It was not during any holiday or shutdown time. How ridiculous!!! Secondly, the laundromat is primarily frequented by minorities which is why I think the owner isn't concerned with repairing so many of the machines that have been unoperable for several months. After frequencing the facility for nearly a year and still seeing the same washers and dryers out of order, I inquired with the manager on duty as to why the machines weren't repaired timely which would speed up the wait time during peak hours? The woman became offensive and lied and stated that one washer cost $50,000 to repair. Now, we all know that is not true and most laundromat facilities rent the machines and there are service agreements in place for repairs. As well, I usually frequent the laundromat at night and the floors and machines are not always clean, despite staff being present but usually in the office with the door closed and on the phone on personal phone calls. The onsite manager was so offended by my timely repair question that she became unruly and unprofessional and then talked about my inquiry to a hispanic employee who decided to pick up the unprofessionalism and challenge me also. At the end of the day, my money matters and I choose to spend it where I receive good customer service and feel valued as a customer.

Upon entering, the guy working there immediately started to harras me about the time. I calmly and politely explained my situation. He then goes "well, I'll let you do it, but we normally don't let people wash/dry their clothes past 8pm" I told him "not to be smart but where is that posted?" He shows me and all it says is "Last Wash is at 8pm". Never mind that their hours posted online and at the store say they close at 930pm. So after starting the dryer, I look up to see who owns the place and ask the employee about it. He goes "Ya that's her, call her it doesn't matter" So I find the owners info in their website, and reach out to her and told her how rude her employee treated me. She texted back "I'm sorry you thought my employee was rude to you"....He was rude, period! She then had the audacity to call me and accuse me of being confrontational in my texts to her. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Clearly the owner doesn't want to make any money, and doesn't practice good customer service or train her employees to have good customer service either. I've been in the service industry for 22 years. The customer isn't always right, but if someone needs help in an emergency situation, the right thing to do is try and help them, not hassle them. Bottom line, go somewhere else to do your laundry.
