Used them for years. Pros: If I say not to press my pants with a big crease down the front like a 70 year old man has - they make sure not to do it! Low interaction - I walk in hand clothes, pay, and leave. Fast, easy, and no need for me to do a lot of small talk. 24 hours - ready in a day Short lines - longest I ever waited was about 3 minutes TV - if you can't keep yourself occupied for your 2 minutes in line they have a TV on Tailoring - I had them do some light tailoring, like hem pants, etc Cons: Name: Stored was named 175 when price was $1.75. They weren't very forward thinking about what do do when massive inflation walloped the country after electing Biden. Now the store is 175, but services cost more than $1.75. For folks on here that didn't give five stars: 1. They are super cheap. Don't expect them to roll our a red carpet and throw rose petals when you walk in. 2. Quality. All dry cleaners use same equipment and chemicals. If you say "they ruined my ....." its probably because you didn't read the tag to care for your item. More simply - if you bring them something to clean, they will clean it. Don't expect them to be fabric consultants! My expectation is if I say "clean this", then they will. read more

I have used Ultra dry cleaners for 5 years . Recently I gave them my Ann Taylor sweater to dry clean. It was returned with holes in it. The owner refused to address the issue with me and her employees kept giving me excuses. I went back twice and finally took my sweater back. They did not give an explanation or compensate my loss. Please be careful giving your expensive clothes to this facility. read more

Dry Clean 175 - The damaged sweater - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

STAY AWAY IF YOU'RE MILITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT: The employees are nice, professional and this is in no way a personal review. This stems from a professional perspective. I've utilized them for a few months now. My clothes were fine, they can't remove ink stains apparently. I even told them how to remove it, i just don't have the time. This is not the real reason I'm leaving this review. I am active duty and I have my ODU's/BDU's dry cleaned here primarily at least 2-3 times a week. I left some very important artifacts in my breast pocket that my wife mistakenly overlooked, needless to say. They're missing. I went to ask if they'd had them and I was told they don't. So I do not recommend this place, it's cheap, my clothes are never ready on time and if you have something In your pockets they're just going to throw them away. read more

The owner doesn't pay his employees the right amount and is always late giving checks. Still haven't gotten paid in month. When I quit because of this they fired me. The owner makes his kids work for free in the back and punishes them when they don't want to . The youngest is 14 and they wake up at 5am to do work while Curtis goes to the gym . Both owners are always talking bad about their customers. read more

It is under a new management and new owners. They are now called Ultra. It is a family run business. I have met most of them, George, Danny, Serena, Curtis, and Jennifer. I used to drop my clothes here before they took over. I have always been satisfied. Even under new ownership, I find same dry-cleaning services with same rate, do a poor job of removing some stains, but here, at Ultra, they have removed the stains from the clothes I have dropped off. Even with the rate they charge, they still do their best to remove the stains, and so far, to date, all my clothes have been stain free. I am one happy customer! Every time, I have walked in all of them have been courteous and welcoming. They are professional in their interactions. Sometimes, we as customers, can also make their day by asking how are they doing. Like any business, even the established ones, always have a room for growth. I am sure they will continue to grow! Thank you, Jennifer and Curtis, and also to your children, who alongside you, learn and grow. From Shilpi read more

I am extremely happy my family and I started using Dry Clean 175. They are under new management and the service is excellent. I was previously using Zips and I thought I was happy with Zips until I started using Dry Clean 175. My clothes are brighter and ready to wear. I recommend giving them try. read more

I have been using this cleaner for as long as I can remember...they have been doing the job right...the occasional button broken. The last time I got a batch of shirts back from them, I noticed that one of them had a big oil stain on the collar..I assume from their machine since it was not there when I took it there. I took it back to them just to ask if they can remove the stain...bad attitude. Even though it still had their tag on the button hole, the manager kept talking about how the tag is older than 30 days...no apologies, no regrets...no offer to try to clean the stain...nothing. I ended up asking if they can please at least try to clean it for free...at least take some responsibility...the shirt is ruined. I realize that establishments like this probably works on thin margins but at the very least, some sympathy would go a long way. read more

Been going here for years. Great service and love being able to have the seamstress available. Very convenient!

AWFUL. I tried them for the first time this week. When I picked up my items I noticed a rip on my dress that was not there before. I told the cashier, he apologized and asked me to come back the next day and talk to the manager. I returned the next morning, the manager had a bad attitude from the start, and denied the whole incident. She told me they will repair it but I will have to pay for it. I said not for something they damaged. She said the material of the dress is delicate and probably was damaged when I brought in, which is not true. This place is unethical and I'm surprised they are in business. I will not recommend this place. If you are looking for a good dry cleaner reasonable prices, cheaper than those thieves I recommend Cleaner4less 512 Maple Avenue West, Vienna, VA 22180 read more

A cheap drycleaners with nice quality, I don't have any complaints. They do have a prepay system, however. All cleaning needs to be paid upon drop off. read more

If you drop off by 9am you can pick up on the same day. That's faster than my mom used to do my laundry! Price is reasonable and service is great. I've never had an issue coming here and have been using these guys for over a year now. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get in/out of the parking lot. But no biggie...still love this place! read more

This place is quick and cheap. Parking lot is very awkwardly shaped but apart from that I can't complain very much. I bring my work clothes here and as long as I bring in before 9 am they have everything ready for pick up by 5 pm. Obviously I wouldn't bring nice clothes to the place called "dry clean 175" but for every day items this place is solid! read more

I do not recommend this dry cleaning service. There is another down the road which is a bit more pricey but will give you a better quality and well organized clean and press. read more

Of all the value dry cleaners, this one is the best. Affordable, reliable service and very fast.

Great service. Always friendly and helpful. They do a great job on dry cleaning as well as tailoring.

I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars. I've gotten clothing altered here same day for less than what any other cleaners has quoted me. Most would charge ~$15 to sew up a hole in denim or repair hem on a silk designer shirt; not here. Quality work & fast service. Everyone is really pleasant and this place is extremely affordable. Everything I've ever gotten cleaned was great, too. But, definitely a go-to for alterations & quick fixes. FYI - cash only for alterations, due at drop off. read more

Dry Clean 175 - A pair of expensive raw denim jeans that's ripped at the crotch. The seamstress did amazing work - dropped off at 10AM & picked up at 6PM. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

Be careful about this place. I thought I found my go-to neighborhood spot for dry cleaning and then it happened...they lost a pair of slacks. I know things can be damaged or misplaced at a dry cleaners, it's happened to all of us, but to completely lose a pair of pants altogether is down right hard to do. The only explanation I got was, "we just lost them and we can't find them". Really?! I was not reimbursed or even offered any sort of compensation for the mishap. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. read more

I used to go this dry cleaner for many years. After Covid the business was sold to some other person. The Management and owner have changed. Customer service is very poor and behave very badly with the customers. Ruined and faded my expensive outfit. read more

I really wish I had read the reviews before taking my clothing here. I brought in an expensive puff coat purchased from Saks. I've had this coat dry cleaned MANY times from Zips, but since I moved, I decided to try Dry Clean 1.75 since it's closer. Wow, what a mistake. I picked up my coat and noticed it seemed flatter than usual. When I put it on, I noticed that the down filling inside the coat had been damaged and was collected to the sides (not evenly distributed throughout the coat). I initially called Saks to see what should be done, and I was told that the down was damaged from dry-cleaning as a result of not using the proper chemicals and treatment. The coat has very specific instructions on the tags as to how it should be cleaned, which I explained the attendant when I dropped off at the store. I went in the next day to speak with the manager, who first blamed the coat manufacturing then me for the damage. I showed her the stains AND wholes that resulted from the dry-cleaning as well as the damaged down, and she giggled manically throughout the conversation. I was told that their policy is to refund up to 10x the amount of the purchase. Whew, so I would get a refund, right? No, they mean the price of the dry-cleaning, so if any damage is done to the item, they pay you upwards of $20. WHAT? I told her that the coat cost $398 (pre-tax) from Saks. She again laughed and said, "you can take us to court." I get the sense they deal with A LOT of complaints. Don't take any items here of value. These folks are crooks and definitely don't care about customer service. read more

Decent place , they actually used to charge $1.75 at a time for dry cleaning , not any more , they offer ugg shoes cleaning but at $30.00 it's steep , plus one of the not so pleasant associate told me that send the uggs someplace else for cleaning and that's why it takes 3 weeks it's not done on site , they are getting pricey over the years read more

The absolute worst quality of care I have EVER received. I took in 15 pieces and all 15 pieces are ruined. My clothes came back stiff, dried out, lifeless, dull, and lost elasticity. How is it possible they are THIS BAD?! I am so disappointed in myself for being so cheap. I should have listened to the other Yelpers. :( read more

I have used this shop for 11 years and always received great service and friendly clerks. I gave them a hand embroidered scarf with stains and they got them out. Also gave them a delicately beaded blouse and it came back in perfect shape. They do even better than the high-priced cleaners as they submerge the garment and don't just spray them with the cleaning fluid. Cannot beat $2 a piece, and they have never once lost or damaged a thing. I recommend them highly. Gloria read more

This is another discount dry cleaners. Not the worse, not the best local dry cleaners. But their prices are very reasonable. The quality of their work is mostly good with the occasional glitch. Same as all dry cleaners. But I must compliment them on how they treat customer complaints. The few occasions I have had issues with their work, damaged items, they have apologized, refunded the cost and has not happened again. Doesn't sound like much, but I have had so many arguments with managers at dry cleaners who are absolutely horrendous at customer service. read more

I have been a customer for almost 10 years and have received excellent service since my initial visit.

Although you'll save money in short run, you'll loose much more in ruined clothes. Sometimes I'll get my shirts back with stains on them that weren't there when I give them. One time they even ruined all the buttons of my pants and blamed me for having cheap buttons! Then they asked me if I want them to fix them for me at their regular tailor rate. Under no circumstance they will accept responsibility. Today was the last time I was there. I'm switching to another cleaner. I already lost a lot of money in ruined clothes this year. read more

This place has cheap dry cleaning, but definitely not worth it! I took my pants there, and when I got them back the pants were pressed poorly (but for 1.90 I didn't complain). I realized one of my zippers on my pants were broken, and so I took it back to ask them to fix it. The manager was horribly rude, claimed that I was lying, said I had no proof, and basically told me stuff it. I asked to speak to someone else, and he claimed there was no one and he really didn't have a boss and blah blah blah. I got my $2 back (he didn't offer, I had to demand it), and gave the $2 to someone else because I didn't want their money made with lies and poor service. I understand them not wanting to fix the zipper, since they really don't have proof, but the horrible way I was treated made me furious. read more

Warning!!! I had (past tense) a very nice Kate Unger dress. It had an accessory made into the dress. I asked the manager if it would be okay. He said no problem. I received it in pieces. The dress was ruined. The bad thing was that I looked at it in shock and asked if he could fix it. Immediately he said, "I am not refunding your money, sue me if you want to." Very bad customer service and garment abuse. read more

SAVE YOUR CLOTHES!! I do not recommend this place. They wrapped aluminum foil around my plastic buttons when cleaning the sweater. The heat melted my buttons and they did not say anything or take off the foil. I discovered this when I got home. When I took the sweater back to the cleaner, they told me they weren't going to do anything about my sweater as it wasn't their fault. If I wanted to bring in new buttons (which I did not have) then they would sew them on for a fee. The manager was incredibly rude and now I have a $50 sweater that I cannot wear. read more

Awful! Got some trousers hemmed. The thread came out in about a day. The cleaning is marginal. They don't understand "light starch". I didn't feel that my clothes were very clean either. I've been taking my clothes here for over 10 years and I have never had a problem. I really don't understand the many complaints. Parking lot could be better but it's because it's always busy. Ruuuun from this place! They ruined a brand new shirt! Their offer was for me to go find the decorations and they'd put it back on. When I told them that I wasn't interested they tried to offer me $22 instead of the price of the shirt which wasn't much more than that. I figured in good faith to continue a relationship with a customer the least they could do was make good on my purchase price. Not to mention that the shirt is no longer available from the retailer. I am very disappointed with the service. His excuse was they didn't look at it before putting it in the laundry. Smh. So much for attention to detail. Will not be using this place anymore and all of my co workers who go here still, will know about this terrible service. read more

This was the first time I have gone to this dry cleaners, but was recommended by my own mother to come here. I brought a Thread&Supply pull over sweater (attached), which are those fluffy sweaters. This is a dry clean only product, and was the first time I ever brought it somewhere to get cleaned. I attached a picture of what it should look like. I waited to get home to pick it up, and I am so sad and frustrated about the product. The texture of the sweater is matted together, it is no longer fluffy, and the inseams of the sweater shows. This could potentially be looked over, and maybe I could go over there to see if it can get fixed. However, they completely damaged the sweater, and there is a rip in the inseam (also attached). I would think that as an established business, if this product was something that they were not comfortable with, they should've said something, or returned it untouched. I'm not sure if they did this properly, but I regret coming here. I would recommended to others to consider going somewhere otherwise. Other places may be more expensive, but it is worth it. read more

I have been coming here for the last few years, and I have never had an issue with them. So I've been using this place for cleaning since late 2010 through this date. I've taken all of my bespoke wool business suits there - never a problem. I've taken all my expensive dress shirts there, and in all that time from then to now, I've had one button broken, and one shirt that didn't have all the stains removed. I have $10K worth of suits and shirts that have been through this place over the eight years with one button broken. But the reason I go there is not really for the service, which I think is fine, but the prices are just great for that area of Fairfax County. I can get some suits drycleaned, a whole bunch of shirts washed pressed and starched, and a bunch of polo shirts washed and pressed for about $30-$40. I don't think I've ever spent more than $70 even for a huge load of laundry. I rarely wait more than 1 minute to get to the counter. They have a seamstress that works 5 days a week (an unusual schedule for her, so call first) who takes cash only for work and then hands it over to the cleaner for whatever you need - buttons are $3, hemming trousers is $12 (she hems jeans too if they're a bit too long). Shirts come back medium starched just fine. I can't speak to dresses, since they are more fragile and non-uniform than men's shirts and suits. Shop takes credit for purchases above a minimum, below which is cash only. So, if you're getting men's clothing cleaned or tailored, it's great! read more

I would be very careful if you use this dry cleaner. First timer at this dry cleaner. I just took 18 shirts to them and was charged $1.75 per shirt. Clearly, on yelp, their website says SHIRT LAUNDRY $1.50. I mentioned the quote to the person at the register and he said no it's $1.75. I said to him that I just saw the price on yelp for $1.50. I left my phone in the car, so I couldn't show him the website. He pulled up the website on his phone and saw the price on there was $1.50. He immediately turned to the owner Han, and showed him the price on his phone. Han looked at it for about 45 seconds and then came over and said the price is $1.75 per shirt. Han, tried to say that the previous owner may have done this and the price is $1.75. Han also said the price had been $1.75 for years. So when did the previous owner put a add up on yelp? I said, are you going to tell me it's more than what's published on your site. He shook his head and said it's $1.75. I wasn't about to take the shirts back and take them to another cleaners after they were already in their laundry bags. So, Han, ever hear of the term "the customer is always right," and what about the customer service? In this case, I was right. It's not about the few extra dollars being charged, it's the principal. Well, clearly Han's business point is that he's right. I will never use this dry cleaner again and so should you.
