Specifically, the Owner, Jim Tranmer and his Mangement Team were Rude, Inconsiderate, and offered ZERO Customer Care. They failed on numerous occasions to follow their own work schedule inconveniecing both my wife and myself. When we called to complain to Mr. Tranmer, he refused to take our phone calls and basically told us "since we had signed a contract granting them access to our home 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that we should just stop complaining and just let them do their job." In our opinion, Mr. Tranmer is basically an Ungrateful Bully. Thankfully, Jake Barnett, their Project Manager stepped in and helped to guide the project forward and helped save the job. Good Job by Jake who was able to usher the project forward to a successful conclusion! The workers and subcontractors who actually did the Hard Work were actually very kind and very respectful and ultimately did a Very Good Job of Finishing out our Basement.

Christina understood the trouble we were in and connected me with the owner, Rich. He sent an emergency team in the next morning to install a sump pump and extra drainage in our basement. The team was there first thing in the AM explained everything they were going to do and reviewed it with me when they were done, not only that they beat the price of another CT Basement Systems company. Very professional and clean work, it doesn't even look like they were down there jack hammering and laying down cement. This is the company to use, period.

He took his time to understand our concerns about a few items. At no point did we feel as though our questions were rushed or not answered. We had to reschedule our initial service date due to an unforeseen emergency and Rich was so understanding and flexible. On the day of the service, Rich's team arrived on time and were extremely personable! The set up prior to the work being done was impeccable. They made sure all working areas were covered in plastic or drop cloths. They kept us updated throughout the full day. The system and team work that they provided showed that we absolutely made the right decision in this business. The job was completely cleaned up from the driveway to the basement. The overall job/service was the cleanest work I have ever seen completed. I would highly recommend CT Dry Basements to anyone throughout CT/New England for their professionalism, timeliness and completion of GREAT work!

So it was a bit of an emergency situation. Valli responded quickly and brought a third-party professional who had a scope that could be put down into the drain system to locate the underground problem. This helped them be more sure what they were dealing with for quoting and planning the project. They moved quickly to start and complete the repair which involved removing large boulders and other fill material, installing new drain pipe, and properly backfilling and grading. They also coordinated with a third-party paver who we paid directly. Since Valli pulled together everyone needed to bring the project together, it was easy for us. The work was professional, and they were nice to work with.

They were involved in every phase of the project from design collaboration, architectural planning, finish selections, excavation, foundation, construction, and final detail work. The quality of the work was fantastic, especially in the vaulted ceiling and beam work. The new porch and bedroom blend so naturally into the house that you would never know they were added later. Everyone on their team was professional, skilled, and respectful throughout the process. Communication was clear and consistent. We would confidently hire Lambert and Barr again.

While many were friendly and professional, the quotes I received felt unusually high for the scope of work being offered. That was not the case with Connecticut Custom Creations. Their pricing was fair, transparent, and very reasonable. As with any new contractor, I wasn't sure what to expect at first. However, Dustin was an absolute pleasure to work with. He guided me through every step of the process and made everything feel easy and stress free. He also provided great advice when selecting finishes and fixtures, helping me choose options that coordinated beautifully and enhanced the overall design. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I am already planning to have my second bathroom remodeled with them as well. If you are considering a bathroom renovation or any major home project, including a kitchen or basement, I highly recommend giving Connecticut Custom Creations a call. You will not be disappointed.

This company is a nightmare to work with due to their mistakes and poor communication. They lost…read moretheir worker, Henry, who did the last renovation work on my attic for me. This time, Renoldo came with his assistant to install one door for $ 1,500.00 and to patch over three huge cracks in the attic ceiling and wall that the company renovated in September, just six months ago. In short, wrong door knobs (twice!), a gap between the door frame and door (which they didn't want to fix), and nearly two, frustrating hours texting Dustin, the manager, who claimed he was right about everything and wouldn't take responsibility for an unsatisfactory job. I had to take doorknob pictures to prove my point because he insisted that he had purchased the right doorknob. WTF! I had to put up with his sarcasm, denials, name-calling, and gaslighting to get him to do the job. One door and a lot of unnecessary stress and aggravation. Never again, even if they paid me a million dollars, will I EVER work with this company again. Addendum: after much ado over everything, the company bought the proper color for the wood filler and filled all gaps and cracks left after they redid the door, which they should do with every door they replace that leaves ugly gaps in people's hardwood floors, even if the prior door installer was considered by them to have installed it improperly.
