My first visit and I'm a fan. I took advantage of the Paze/Clover promo (iykyk) and ordered online. I'm a huge fan of salted egg, so I decided to try the salted egg matcha. I got the drink without ice, and enjoyed it cold without ice later. The salted egg foam is so delicious, very creamy and pairs well with the slight earthiness of matcha. However, the matcha was a bit floral than ones I've had elsewhere - still good but not as strong. There are also banh mi available. When I come back, I may have to get a flight to try more flavors. There are lots of seating inside, and a couple tables outside - good for working and hanging out with friends.

Located in a more hidden part on the edge of Capitol Hill, there's a good amount of street parking in the area. The inside had a good amount of seating and was playing upbeat music. The decor was really nice and I liked the mural they had up. The staff were friendly and let us know about some of their popular drinks. I got the Salted Egg Yolk Coffee and it was very decadent and creamy. It complimented the strong coffee and had nice layering when sipped out of the top instead of through a straw. Will definitely be back to try some of the other drinks.

Took a walk and decided to grab a coffee somewhere new, so I looked up spots nearby and saw Drip Drip at the top with great ratings. I walked over and immediately liked the vibe: lots of seating and a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the iced salted caramel coffee from the kiosk, and it came out in less than two minutes. Super quick service, and the drink was delicious! Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

4 stars. Tasty. Filling. Strong. Barely could finish it, like a meal in itself! Scared of how many calories it might be! Like coffeeholic, their drinks like the Salted Egg can be a meal within themselves or shall I say Dessert! A little bit out of the way though, in such a random place... Bright, clean, fun appeal inside. Decent amount of seats. Parking can be a bit tough as it's in residential area, and unfortunately some homeless nearby so just be aware and careful. Worth the slight detour.

Matcha Flight (mango, strawberry, taro/ube, black sesame)

Took me forever to finally cross Drip Drip off my bucketlist. Located a bit out from common areas but worth a mini stroll because the neighborhood is calm and cozy. There's a tablet to order from which is convenient. Washroom inside (other keywords restroom, bathroom) and very clean. Decent amount of seating though can feel a bit tight inside. Street parking. I've eyed the matcha flights for quite some time because I'm a sucker for variety and trying new things. They're smaller in person (at least they looked fairly medium sized in pictures to me). Matcha Taro/Ube Latte - favorite of the flight. Purple yam and matcha is a tried and true combo. They're contrasting flavor profiles which allows them to balance each other out. Taro and ube being sweet and nutty while matcha is bitter and earthy makes for a flavorful combination. This was the one drink that made sense to combine. Matcha Sesame Latte - second favorite of the flight. We like black sesame which lets us appreciate it, but for anyone unfamiliar, this one might be too much. The black sesame is strong and overpowers the matcha, as if there wasn't matcha present. While black sesame has a similar flavor profile to purple yam, it's just too strong for the matcha. Matcha Strawberry Latte - fourth favorite of the flight. Strawberry was just too faint compared to everything else. Foam by itself was good, but became irrelevant when sipped with matcha. Matcha Mango Latte - third favorite of the flight. Interestingly, this one comes with a little snack on top. Feels like the snack is meant to compensate for something, but honestly this matcha tasted as expected. Mango puree syrup is typically very sweet and slightly artificial. This was no different though when mixed, that artificial taste does dissipate.

Stopped by for a matcha to-go! Got the matcha mango latte and I thought the drink was well made and the matcha top was delicious! Did not have enough time but I would've gotten the sample flight if I was getting coffee for here. Everything looked super interesting and delicious! Was really interested in trying the sesame, egg brulee and blossom drinks.

The drinks are good but they are very pricey. I ordered a coconut latte and for some reason I couldn't order a hot one on their kiosk, so I didn't ask for ice. They don't even fill it up to the rim of the cup. If I'm paying $10 I expect to get a good amount of coffee. I even ask the barista if she can fill up my cup further and she said sorry that that's the measurement. That's ridiculous. I'll go to Starbucks - at least I get my money's worth to some degree. Also, most of their specialty coffee drinks have dairy in it. So if you're lactose intolerant, you're better off just getting a regular espresso because you can't replace any of the specialty drinks with alternate dairy options. They are pre-made mixes They have food but nothing vegan so if you're a vegetarian or a vegan, you're out of luck. The pastries look gross. I took one look at it and it definitely was not appealing to look at. It looked dry and it looked like the pastries have been sitting in the display case for weeks

I'm a night shift nurse and I walked in a little after they closed before my shift. The owner was nice enough to let us in and make us coffee. We got the Vietnamese coffee and salted Carmel latte. Very good! The shop itself is nicely kept and clean. Definitely recommend this place, super sweet owners as well. read more

I got the holiday flight! It was really good but seemed like just the toppings were different and it was all the same coffee base. I also couldn't believe how packed it was! The coffee was good and love the option of doing a flight, but only giving 3 stars because the service was so poor. When I walked in today, the person behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me... she just stood there. When I asked a question she was clearly annoyed. I know customer service can be tough, I've had many service jobs-- but this was uncalled for. Hopefully it was just a bad day and not indicative of ongoing service. read more

I've been here twice now -- the last time I went, I got the bac siu with matcha pandan foam. Their foam is extremely good, THICK and perfectly sweetened. Probably one of my fav cold foams of all viet coffee places. Plus, they have a lot of different flavors to choose from which I love. The coffee base is really good as well -- not too sweet, not too milky, perfect coffee taste. Inside is super cute, good place to chill and staff is nice. Drinks took a little although didn't seem too busy (I ordered online) but that's fine. I will def be coming back! read more

We got the pandan matcha, regular iced viet coffee and the ube coconut latte, about $7 each and $1 for oat milk sub. It is pretty pricey so not your everyday coffee, the ube coconut had the most distinctive flavor so that was my favorite, pandan was pretty light. This is definitely strong on the coffee intensity so if you need a boost of caffeine this is a nice treat! read more

Super good! My sister and I have been here a couple of times now after finding out about them via Yelp. We've tried the Blossom caffe, ube coconut, matcha pandan, and salted coffee so far and it's been super good and consistent! Would recommend, they're usually pretty nice, efficient with time wise. Prices are on par with other Vietnamese specialty coffee shops too. Cozy and simple interior, they have some bouquets of flowers which they sell in the corner area. read more

One of the best matcha lattes I've had in Seattle. Very sweet, which is how I prefer, and I added black sesame foam on top, which was super creamy and added a lot to the drink in my opinion. Tried a sip of the tiramisu latte as well and though I'm not a coffee fan it was very good as well. We originally went to try the flight and perhaps I didn't research enough beforehand but I wasn't aware that they only allowed one non-coffee drink for the flight. Wasn't super clear to me based on the menu. Though the cafe was busy the drinks came out quickly. Try this place out if you like sweet coffee and matcha drinks. read more

Cute coffee shop that just opened up near Swedish Cherry Hill. I stopped by while they were still having their soft opening. I wanted to try one of their coconut drinks but they were all out of coconut so I ended up getting a regular Vietnamese coffee. They only have one size and it looks like a 16oz cup. The Vietnamese coffee was tasty. Not too sweet and it was quite refreshing. It was just pretty pricey for what it was. I don't generally order fancy coffee drinks and usually just get Americanos which cost $5 for a 16oz. The Vietnamese coffee ended up being almost $9 after I selected a 15% tip when checking out. I will probably go back again to try something more exciting next time but I find the prices too high to make it a regular occurrence. One thing that was also very annoying was the lid of the cup made it very difficult to drink out of without spilling. The little tab that covers the opening doesn't stay open so every time you take a sip, the tab gets in the way. read more

since drip drip opened, ive been a regular since! coffee is a taste preference, i have to say drip drip ranks the top viet coffee places for me in seattle. ive had other coffee spots and its too sweet! here its perfect for my taste! love the coffee here! its one of the best ive had in seattle. strong coffee flavor profile, unique flavors, make their own cold foams in house. price is good for the location. can't expect to have great coffee and be cheap! they offer the flight which you can customize! read more

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.

I visited Drip Drip Coffeehouse recently and tried their Matcha flight, which came to around $19 with tip. Street parking was available in the neighborhood. The cafe was moderately busy, with some chatting and others studying. We ordered at the counter before finding a seat. The flight included matcha drinks topped with salted, blossom, ube, and egg-flavored foams. I was a little disappointed to see only half a biscuit served with our five drinks (the Instagram advertisement showed a whole biscuit). However, the biscuit was still crunchy and enjoyable to dip in the various foams! My favorite was the ube foam; it had a strong ube flavor and aroma, reminiscent of a good sweet potato. The egg foam was light and airy (perhaps a bit too foamy for my taste). I tend to be picky about egg coffee, as I'm comparing it to the creamy, custard-like Hanoi Egg Coffee I've had, which has a much more egg flavor. The blossom foam had a light strawberry flavor. I had no complaints about the salted foam, though I think it might pair better with coffee to balance the sweetness and bitterness of Vietnamese coffee. The matcha itself was a bit powdery and sweet for my initial liking, but it was alright after a few sips as I mixed it with the foam. Overall, Drip Drip is a cute spot for a quick chat and a drink. However, seating and space are limited, so it's probably best to visit with just one or two other people. read more

I visited Drip Drip Coffeehouse in Seattle and tried the Vietnamese iced coffee, roasted sesame coffee, and coconut taro ube coffee--each was delicious and unique. I also had the lemongrass chicken bánh mì, which was good but didn't quite meet my expectations. The service was friendly, and the café has great WiFi for working.
