I met with Steve and he and two others from his team came out and looked at the damage. Steve explained to me that both doors would need to be painted so that the color would match correctly as my damage was close to the edge of the front door also. He walked me through the process, told me how much and how long it would take. We scheduled my drop-off and he communicated with me during the job. Car was delivered 100% looking great and absolutely on time. When I went to drop the car off, the same lot only had a few vehicles in it- they had fixed and completed the work on most all of them that week. AMAZING Steve saved me over $2,000 versus the bid I received close to home. It is/was worth the drive for sure, easy access off and on I-5 . Our paint is a tough color and they did it perfectly while saving me dollars. I can't recommend this business any higher.

By the end of it, it was spendy, but they did amazing work putting the car back to original condition. The paint matched very well when they were done, and all the seams between the door, hood, and fender are all symmetrical. Kandice was awesome in reaching out to give me updates every few days on the status of the car. Diana was also very helpful in reaching out as well. At the end of it all, the car came out beautifully. A couple days after I got the car back, Diana reached out to ask how the car was driving and if I was happy with it all. I mentioned there were a couple small scratches in the clear coat of the bumper that weren't there before (which is half to be expected as they had the car for a month and there was a lot of work to do). They told me to bring it down the next morning and they buffed out the paint on the bumper in 10 minutes and were able to make the scratches nearly disappear. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to properly inspect or approve the final result before paying because it needed weeks to cure due to the frigid temperatures at the time. Be sure your expectations are fully aligned before getting tinting done here. I didn't know what I was signing up for, and I couldn't be more disappointed by the lack of accountability.

I had previously had some work done through insurance at another shop and wanted to add fixing the rust spot, but that shop refused the work and said they didn't want to deal with rust. When I first contacted Raley's, they said that they were booked six months out. But then he asked a few more questions and determined that the work I needed done would be a quick job for him to complete. We set a time for an estimate which was in the evening so I did not have to take time off from work. This is a small business and is located at the owner's property between Sumner and Orting. I was happy to give my business to a locally owned small business. The wife and husband operate the business together. Heather was very good at communicating with me and scheduling was flexible. They allowed me to drop my truck off in the evening on a Sunday so again, I did not have to take time off from work. I really appreciate that flexibility. The estimate was very good and he was also able to install a bumper that my husband bought and wasn't able to install. I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of work. The entire process was stress free and I was so happy to get this problem taken care of. I highly recommend Raley's for quality of work, the price, the communication, the flexibility and the fact that supporting their business is supporting a local family business. However i have never dealt with Hinshaw Auto Body on any sort of project prior to this job. Highlighting the pros of this job; paint itself was matched well and seemingly done correctly. Even went above and beyond (to my knowledge) and painted the hood which was not on the service bulletin to be warrantied. They were fairly open to me seeing the process and answering my questions if anything came up throughout. Unfortunately with any pros came multiple cons; starting with body pieces being incorrectly put back, gouging tint on all four windows without telling me, breaking headlight electrical plugs, lack of cleanliness (buffing compound all over the truck, some of which stained parts unrelated to the project), etc. Although a few of these items were corrected, others were slacked on. Overall i am disappointed in the service that was highly spoken of from Doxon Toyota. I would normally recommend body shops, dealers, companies, etc. But in this case it is nearly impossible to do so. I would hope in the future this can help customers be aware of what can potentially happen to your vehicle here and provide feed back for Hinshaw Auto Body to be more attentive going forward.
