    Dyno time

My 240 really needed a tune. It was running terribly. Made an appointment and had it there next week. Min, at the front desk was super chill and helpful. Tony was cool, spent some time working out some other issues the car had before putting it on the dyno. Thing idles perfect. Pulls really well now. And also seemed equally as enthusiastic about things we can work on to improve the numbers we made at the end. Thanks intec team. Will be back!!!

Corona quarantine 2020! For all you "essential businesses still fortunate enough to be making…read moremoney, here is a good example of how NOT to treat your customers! March 25, 2020 around 4:50 PM. I went to Autozone on 23918 104th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98031. I have spent A LOT of money at this store in the past. Walked in and was greeted by William. He asked what he could help me find and I told him I was looking for a 13mm offset ratcheting dogbone and that I also intended to buy some electrical connectors. He directed me to aisle 2 and told me if they had the dogbone, it would be in the red section there. I went and looked. Saw some complete wrench sets and decided to look around to see if maybe I could find something else that would work for my project. Now here is where it gets weird.... As I am walking down the aisle, in a stern tone of voice William tells me "Sir, I can't have you wandering around the store!". I told him "I'm just looking to see if you have anything else that may work for what I need". He responds (again sternly, as if I were a child) "IF YOU DON'T SEE IT IN THE RED AREA, WE PROBABLY DON'T HAVE IT! HAVE YOU TRIED MCLENDONS? WE CAN'T HAVE PEOPLE WANDERING AROUND THE STORE!". I responded "Look! I am shopping and I intend to make a purchase here!". Again he tells me "IF YOU NEED SOMETHING WE HAVE TO PULL IT FOR YOU! YOU CAN'T WANDER AROUND THE STORE TOUCHING EVERYTHING! IF YOU COME IN AND DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT WE CAN'T HELP YOU!" (Bear in mind I have literally touched NOTHING in the store!) I thought a minute, got fed up, and told him "OK! I'll take my dollar elsewhere!". I went across the street to O'Reillys. When I walked in, I received a friendly greeting and proceeded to go about my business of looking for the tool I needed. I walked around the whole store and not a word was said. I ended up buying some shrink tube and connectors. I then went to McLendons. Again I walked in and was given a friendly greeting. Again I searched the store looking for my tool. Several employees helped direct me to the right area and none harassed me about "wandering around the store". I purchased my wrench, left, and went back to Autozone so I could get Williams name for this review, and explained to him that I was treated much better in the other two stores. I informed him that I would be writing this review. His response? "Dude, we can't have people wandering around the store!". As I have stated, I have spent A LOT of money at this store! I explained that to him, and the fact that because of my treatment I would never be back!! I only write reviews in two situations: Either the service was outstanding (which is so rare in this day and age that I feel it deserves special recognition), or the service was absolutely terrible as it was in this case! Folks, I get that we are in a trying time right now, but there is absolutely NO REASON TO TREAT ANY CUSTOMER LIKE THIS!! I was simply shopping, with an intent to buy what I needed at this Autozone. I was absolutely maintaining a 6 foot distance from others, and I certainly wasn't handling any merchandise! I was looking around, because anyone who has done a significant amount of mechanical work knows that sometimes projects require "outside the box thinking" and I was shopping for a solution. But Captain Corona acted like my mere presence was contaminating the entire store! Sadly, this probably won't do much good. Not many people read reviews before they go to the auto parts store. William and his colleagues will probably read it and have a good laugh. I am mainly writing it with the hope that Corporate or someone at a higher level than this stores manager sees it and perhaps wants to check on their business. If it helps you, the reader, avoid a bad experience then I am glad I got to help, because no one deserves the treatment I received at this store! Vote with your dollar folks! It's one of the only freedoms we have left! DO BETTER AUTOZONE! YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!! That may not matter much to you. I'm sure that another customer lost will make little difference in your bottom line. But in case you care, you have a real problem at this location!

Not only where they more affordable than a few other salvage yards Viktoriya took the time to locate a company that would ship to Alaska and one item was fragile, not only did they send it, but it was packed extremely well and arrived with no damage at all. I did a FB marketplace search and saw that this place has some wrecked vehicles like mine. I asked my spouse to come here with me. Make sure you bring your tools because I know I wouldn't have. Don't worry though, it does look like they let you rent the tools for a reasonable price if you didn't bring your own. Upon entering the establishment, you will need to tell the staff what type of vehicle you're looking for and they will tell you where it can be found. How cool is that? You will then proceed to checking in, in their old school bind with your name, signature and date. Anyways I found what I was looking for and then some! So I was pretty satisfied with the price, service, and what I got. I would totally recommend this place.

I had a great experience at AAA Auto Wrecking…read more I originally stopped at the neighboring yard (Budget Auto Wrecking) at just before 5PM, only to be told, "Sorry we're closed..." I asked them what time their neighbor, AAA, closed and was happy to find out that AAA was open for another 30 minutes... Great! When I entered at AAA, I was helped by James, who I would say must be one of their best employees. He quoted me a price for the door glass that I was looking for that was a little higher than what I had been quoted by Budget over the phone, but he was willing to adjust the price to match. Although it was nearing closing time, James was more than willing to take me to the exact location where the Hyundai I needed to find would be, and was extremely helpful in getting the window out of the car. For me, on my own, that would have been especially difficult since the electric window was rolled up. He had a drill battery for moving it up and down as needed. I have never known of a wrecking yard where the employees help the customer so much to get the part they need out - without charging more. As I understand it, Budget was one of those...so it was a blessing in disguise that they closed earlier. In the end, I was out of there just before AAA's 5:30 PM closing time. Thanks again James! So overall, I would highly recommend AAA Auto Wrecking.

Big Waste of Time. My first time to a pick and pulll yard and I was really let down by this place…read more I got off work early to get there before they closed and even called ahead of time to confirm they had the vehicle I needed. They said they did. I show up, talked to the front desk and waited to talk to a rep. The old man I talked to had leather wrinkled skin with not one bit of enthusiasm or empathy for me explaining it was my first time. I saw him being short to the customer in front of me. Someone needs to get this grumpy guy out from behind the desk. Anyways, he tells me they don't have my Lexus Rx but apparently the part I needed was compatible on a Highlander. So he points me in the direction at the end of the lot to find the vehicle by myself. I knew better than to try my luck asking for someone to walk me out. I go, I look, I can't find the white Toyota he showed me a picture proving they had. I find another Highlander but it's not the same year, neither has the same part on it. I call the front desk to get a better understanding instead of walking back with all my tools to do so... they answer and put me on a 12 minute hold before I hung up the phone. I stand puzzled and soon find a lot forklift driver to help me out. Surprisingly he was very patient and helpful with my questions. That was a relief. He tells me the car I'm looking for isn't in the lot because it's new and needed to be staged. He tells me ten minutes but i waited in the location with the other highlanders thinking he would bring the new one to me in ten minutes. Well it took me 25 minutes to find him bring it in to the front of the lot. Again the caliper on the Toyota did not match the one on my Lexus and I wasn't going to risk paying for a part that is said to be compatible. What should have been a successful 1.5 hr trip turning into 3.5 hour let down. I don't like leaving reviews but because I've already wasted so much time what more is a deserving review of this place. Fix your front office! I will say this review probably won't matter because they do well from an operation standpoint by having a large lot and wide selection however I'm still going to be bitter, leave this review and try my luck with other places.
