I tried the general tso's chicken lunch special. I got lots of food for the price, but it wasn't very good. It wasn't as savory as I thought it would be. Food was good, Set up is weird, Lines are long for ordering, people yelling out order numbers is a little annoying and not organized. Poor guy had to yell someones number 16 times before the person paid attention to him. Eating out of Styrofoam containers is weird but oh well. The rating I'm giving is based on the food. The only thing I liked was the crab cheese wontons. I have not come across a good Chinese restaurant in San Angelo. It took awhile to receive our food so I expected it to be fresh. But after the wait the food just tasted stale. The rice was fried but bland. The beef skewers from the appetizer sample was tough, very chewy. The Mongolian beef lacked spice and didn't have enough veggies only onions. The ribs from the appetizer sampler tasted old and very dry. The chicken wing was dry. The worst egg roll ever, tasted so gross I spit it out. The only thing that was remotely okay was the general tsao's chicken which tasted like it was sitting out awhile but still had the flavor. This was the first time we went in and it will be the last. I was expecting something like Panda Express, but NOT even close. One of the worst Asian food I've ever had! I hate to write bad reviews, but I must. I was pretty hungry when I came in too, but everything I ordered was terrible. The fried rice was too dry & it tasted like it was just seasoned with soy sauce. The egg drop soup tasted like it was just made with cornstarch, unfiltered water,.....salt & pepper couldn't fix it. I don't think I'll give them another chance, since I hate to throw away food. Definitely worth a visit if your into quick Chinese food. The food is pretty good and quick which is great if your in a hurry. The delivery and to go food is excellent and fast which is the way I recommend ordering the food. The interior leaves something to be desired but it's just very basic which is why I recommend getting it to go more just because your not missing anything. read more

The service is absolutely horrible, and they are running around like chickens with their head cut off. I ordered over the phone after 5 minutes of waiting then Monica came to the phone and took my order then proceeded to tell me that it would be 25 to 35 minutes. I told her that was ridiculous and she told me in a rude voice, "well if you don't like it, you don't have to order." That tone of voice and attitude is gonna drive customers away. A workplace with good work ethic goes a long way. Sometimes that's all it takes for business to go downhill, is to have rude employees. Monica then hung up the phone on me. We've been ordering take out lately and I've noticed that's there's a major phone issue. I usually have to call several times before anyone picks up. Today, I've called five times with no response. We've also noticed that if we get through, they have a really hard time hearing us. We also hear a lot of clicking and beeping over the line , this may be an issue with how the run the credit cards. When we get through we always put on hold before giving our order. However it's only a few minutes. There is a 45 min to 60 min delivery wait time, every time but this seems to be standard for the area. Food is the best delivery Chinese for the area. read more

I wasn't completely impressed with this place. The fried rice tasted like soy sauce rice, the cheese wontons were sub par, but the chicken (which actually resembled chicken, weird) was delicious. I got the sesame chicken and my husband got the general taos chicken. The prices were very reasonable and the delivery time was much faster than they said it would be. First time i went for a pick-up order, only to have it "lost". This time, I called before their cut-off for delivery, placed on hold for nearly ten minutes, placing me after the cut-off, and was told " I am sorry we quit taking deliveries at nine". Pretty tasty Chinese food that delivers. Ordered out during the snow storm the other day and they still brought it pretty quickly. I'm a big fan of the general tsos and the Hunan beef, as well as the fried cheese wantons. It's pretty by-the-book, traditional Americanized Chinese food, so you aren't in for many surprises but it's always fresh, hot, and they generally make it to order. Ordered take-out for lunch today. The person taking my order on the phone was easy to understand and gave me my total before hanging up; however, the order was wrong when I picked it up. I received cheese wontons instead of beef ones. I figured it was no big deal and didn't make a fuss. Come to find out, the cheese wontons and wonton soup were the best part of the meal. WHEN I CALLED TO PLACE MY ORDER..........It takes me about 15 mins. to place an order because the girl on the phone has me repeat my phone # 5 times before she can place the order then they forget the rice that comes with the order and when I ask to get credit for my rice, they say no because its free with your meal....Now how lame is that...instead of being polite about it the so called "manager" KIM says she cant do anything about it and decides to hang up on me when I asked for the GENERAL managers #. After having some nasty Chinese (Wok and Rice cough cough), my family really enjoyed this. The crab Rangoon was full and even the crispy part was delicious. My shrimp egg foo yung actually looked like egg foo yung instead of mixed veggies and egg. My wife's chicken and broccoli was awesome. Hell, the spring rolls were great (I always love em but my wife usually hates spring rolls). Gotta say, outside of New York, this is the best Chinese I've had. read more

Their food isn't that great, so I was leery about ordering from them in the first place, but I was craving some Chinese delivery tonight. I called them at 8:57 and was told that they stopped delivering at 9:00. I checked two clocks in my house and informed the gentelman that it was only 8:57. He told me that their system said it was 9:00. Then he asked if I wanted to place a pickup order. I hung up on him.
