    Hibachi Teriyaki Chicken Dinner

Great portion size for the $11 lunch option! Tasty, quick service and great hospitality from the staff (especially Chris at the bar!) I would definitely recommend. Salad dressing smelled a bit off so I wasn't willing to eat the salad but the soup was delicious and tangy.

The food was great, there was no wait time at all. The servers were really nice, and the atmosphere was very calm and laid back. Everyone was very kind. And some nice gentleman payed for our food. The steak and chicken dinner was very delicious and very fulfilling, and the clear soup was amazing. Overall an 11/10

I have gotten take out/pick up orders from here 3x now and love it! These guys allow for fully customized meals using the SA2Go app for delivery or take out (and now dine in is open again I see). I like being able to customize my meals for dietary reasons so having full control over rice, noodles, veggies, meats, double portions, less portions, or no portions of each. The portions and price as solid, the quality of food is great. I have only gotten the hibachi lunch steak and the hibachi dinner steak so far. I get either double meat and rice or no rice and extra veggies pending my training day schedule. You can ask for more or less sauce use as well. You get clear soup and a side salad with all lunch and dinner entrees as well I want to go back and dine in next time to see how it compares to their take out options which are darn good in my opinion. The dining space just opened up again like a week ago so I need to make plans soon to go check that out.

Then a party of five arrived, followed by a party of four. When I politely said, "Excuse me sir, but we got here first," the owner looked me straight in the eyes and said, "I'll seat you later," and proceeded to seat everyone else ahead of us. By 7:46 PM, we were still waiting. If you've been there before, you know the lobby isn't the most comfortable--especially with a baby getting overheated. Honestly, that felt really disappointing. Probably the best breakfast spot in San Angelo as far as I'm (we) are concerned. The service is top notch and the breakfast is simply hard to beat. Kozy Kitchen (on facebook) is always busy, especially on a Saturday morning. Lots of cars in the parking lot and I did find a space, or actually a dirt spot, to park the Vette-Jet at. Walked in and people were waiting for a table/booth. We noticed that a couple of seats were available at the bar area and we stated we would take those. Yumi is our server, and we had her before. Ordered two waters for us and a coffee with cream for me. We already know what we want, so we placed our orders. Both of us are going with their two egg "Cheese Omelette"; served with Hash Browns and toast or biscuits. Wife is having wheat toast and I'm going with the biscuits. Their coffee here is some really good stuff, and it wakes you us. You can actually taste coffee in there, unlike some other places. I've said before that we like sitting at the bar area when going out to eat. Well, that also applies here. My wife is a social butterfly and enjoys bringing up conversations with others around us. Even as busy as they are, our food came out pretty quick, and the presentation is always perfectly beautiful. Like I've said many times before, when a restaurant takes a little more time and presents a beautiful presentation of their food on a plate, when the customer sees it served, they already are saying; "That looks delicious", and they want to come back. That is what they do at Kozy Kitchen. They always present a beautiful presentation of their food. Both of our Cheese Omelettes are a thing of beauty. Lots of cheese on there and the hash browns are golden brown with a slight crunch. Just the way we like em, and they are tastylicious. I added black pepper and Cholula hot sauce on my omelette and hash browns. Everything we have ever had here has been delicious. We both thoroughly enjoyed our omelettes and hash browns. My biscuits are fresh, flaky and served warm from the kitchen. I usually spread jelly on mine, but didn't this time. Yumi and the other staff members, stopped by and topped off my coffee. The staff here always have a smile on their face and are very happy to serve you. Yumi earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" award for going 'above-n-beyond' the norm. For those that live in San Angelo, Texas, you have to stop in here sometime and enjoy some breakfast, which is served all day long until they close at 1:30pm. For others that don't live here, when you are in town, this is a must stop. When your not here, check out a mom&pop place near you for some good home town cookin'. On the way back home we cruised in the Vette-Jet on another beautiful San Angelo West Texas morning. Thank You Baby for suggesting Kozy Kitchen for our breakfast. Love You Bunches & KozyMunches.

We were greeted and seated within a minute of walking in at 5pm. I'm not that familiar with this type of dining so I'm not knocking the restaurant for me not liking my dinner, it's just not my thing I guess. I'm giving 4 stars because they did not have Thai Iced Tea on hand for this evenings dinner guest, apparently the lady who makes it wasn't in today. My opinion, a Thai restaurant not having Thai Iced Tea is like a Mexican restaurant not having margaritas, a bit disappointing. We were the first dinner guest in the restaurant and our dinners were a bit of a wait (longer than usual) from order to service and that was ok as it gave us time to visit. Our drinks and appetizers were served fairly quick. Our waitress was very friendly and tried to help me decide on dinner by explaining a few options. The place was clean and inviting with ample seating and filled up quickly within the hour. I'm only picturing my dinner and I can't remember what it was. It had a strong after taste so I tried each individual piece to pinpoint what had that flavor. One of our friends said perhaps it's lemon grass but whatever it was caused me not to finish my dinner.

#1 This is about the Steak…read more Ambience was great. Service was great. Pretty much everything was great, even the White cheddar stuffed mushrooms and Caesar's salad. What wasn't great was the Ribeye. And I think it's time restaurants STOP over tenderizing the steaks. A true steak lover wants to be able to cut through their steak. And because you can't realistically needle the hell out of the edges of a steak, you get that false impression when it is first set down in front of you that this is going to be a great steak... Then the issues begin. Medium is warm pick...the only thing warm pink was that first cut a the edge. The rest (that I could get through) ran the gambit of medium rare to damn near blue. Strange because I also ordered the parm-crust, which meant it would be subject a little more time in heat to melt the parm... And I think its because of that needle tenderizer restaurants use. You destroy the muscle fibers so much that the heat is no longer transferring within the steak properly. And what does over tenderizing do? It turns what could have been a great steak...into...MUSH. You can't cut through it because the fibers have begun spaghettification, so there's singular muscle strands that are straining to hold the meat together. My brother got the 20oz, and ended up just picking the steak up with his hands and trying to gnaw the meat off the bone when the knife no longer worked. The only person that got away with a truly good meal was my father who had ordered the Chicken fried steak. Kinda hard to over tenderize cubed steak since its traditionally the toughest cut. So I got about 60% through my ribeye and just called it quits. It became a wasted effort...you know the kind...where if you took it to the end you'd have to go to McD's for a burger because you burned so many calories just trying to eat the "meal". Maybe this is something that needs to be taken up management, have the servers if they want steak or mush. Strange thing I had seen a Youtube documentary on this very same thing, but never thought the steak at Longhorn would be worse than the steak at Roadhouse, which was mentioned as over tenderizing. All I can say, is if they continue with this practice, I can NOT recommend Longhorn, ANYWHERE for even a Waffle House quality steak. At one point I was fearing I had been bitten by the Texas tick that gives you Alpha-gal syndrome because I was actually getting a little nauseous trying to eat my steak at how mushy it was. It was only holding shape by the will of the sear and the parm-crust.
