    Pad See Eew to go
    Jocelyn L.

I ordered pad see ew with chicken for pick up and this was the best one I've had in a while! The flavors were so rich and the portion was large enough for almost 2 meals. I will surely be coming back here for another meal. It's located in a plaza with a bunch of stores which I also look forward to checking out. I highly recommend checking them out, you won't be disappointed.

I have never left a review on anything, but We are regular customers and enjoy yalls food. Everytime we order it to be delivered there is sauce leaking everywhere. This has happened every single time we order and it's ridiculous. This cannot be the delivery drivers fault because we have a different driver every time and we have ordered yalls food so many times, it would definitely be quite a coincidence. Please take at least some form of care on how you package your customers food.

Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca (gummy boba)

The Panang Curry was my first time trying curry. Slightly spicy and so delicious! I ate it with chicken. Reasonably priced at $11.95 The Beef pho tastes fantastic, it's a cozy meal to eat during the winter. Generous sizes too! The Taro milk tea was a subtle sweet drink just how I like it :) The waitress even gave me the left over milk tea from the mixer so I got my money's worth :) This is my first time at the Basil restaurant, and I will definitely come back! The staff are very kind and knowledgeable of the menu.

We're on a road trip for the GF's birthday. We spend the first couple of days in Marfa, Texas and then decided we needed some valley time. Came back out of the high desert, went east on 10, and headed north to San Angelo. Been wanting to head over that way for awhile; she's checking out food options about 20 miles out and came up with Basil as our lunch destination. Thai food in San Angelo? What could possibly go wrong! Sarcasm aside our choices were really tasty! Steamed dumplings were nice; cream cheese wontons with provided dipping sauce also made good marks. Pad Thai (my dish) ordered 4 spicy provided a nice level of heat. GF's combination lo mein noodles met with her approval too. Couple of issues led you a star knocked off. First, if I'm ordering a high level of spice you'd think the server would be checking on drink levels. Another employee noticed my empty glass more than our actual server. Only other issue was our appetizers basically came out with the entrees. Other than that Basil was a stellar find!

    Fresh Spring Rolls

Food was amazing!! Spring rolls were so fresh! Enough pho for take-home. Definitely recommend.

We ordered brisket pho, and the egg rolls

Let me tell you this place is a 10/10. Everything is made fresh and hot when serving you. So glad I found this place you will truly enjoy your food. (Coming from a really picky eater)

    Chicken Satay

Delicious and good priced papaya salad but the chicken satay is the worst I've had. It was so cold and so tough that it wasn't even edible...

4.0 Stars (To-Go Order Review) Location Overview: You can find this restaurant in the large shopping plaza on Knickerbocker and Sunset across the street from the hospital. It is located in one of the smaller shopping plaza's near The UPS Store and Lotus Cafe. Customer Service: This was a to-go order, all items that were ordered through a third party were delivered without any issues. No items missing. Quality/Quantity: The quality of the Beef Pho and spring rolls from Basil were outstanding, had tons of flavor and spiciness, it was just as fresh as if I was at the restaurant. The quantity of items from their menu is extensive and has much to offer and will give you plenty to be full on. Side Notes: Weather you eat here or to-go, this is one of the better Asian options in San Angelo.

Overall I'm impressed with my experience dining here at lunchtime today. The service was prompt and friendly. The appetizer portion size was larger than expected and both appetizers arrived screaming hot! The entrees were both delicious. The curry is the best I've had in San Angelo. It was a little too spicy but I must have gotten accustomed to it because I almost finished it. The reasons I didn't give it five stars, areas in the dining need visible repair such as the ceiling tiles over the sushi bar. There was also a strong cleaning product smell during most of our visit.

I had mostly hors d'oeuvres and they were all very pleasant. There was a milky tea which had a very unusual spice set.

Probably the best breakfast spot in San Angelo as far as I'm (we) are concerned. The service is top notch and the breakfast is simply hard to beat. Also, they have an assortment of condiments on each table, reasonably priced menu selection and the restaurant is clean. HIGHLY recommend breakfast here and now our "go to" place for breakfast.

Kozy Kitchen (on facebook) is always busy, especially on a Saturday morning. Lots of cars in the parking lot and I did find a space, or actually a dirt spot, to park the Vette-Jet at. Walked in and people were waiting for a table/booth. We noticed that a couple of seats were available at the bar area and we stated we would take those. Yumi is our server, and we had her before. Ordered two waters for us and a coffee with cream for me. We already know what we want, so we placed our orders. Both of us are going with their two egg "Cheese Omelette"; served with Hash Browns and toast or biscuits. Wife is having wheat toast and I'm going with the biscuits. Their coffee here is some really good stuff, and it wakes you us. You can actually taste coffee in there, unlike some other places. I've said before that we like sitting at the bar area when going out to eat. Well, that also applies here. My wife is a social butterfly and enjoys bringing up conversations with others around us. Even as busy as they are, our food came out pretty quick, and the presentation is always perfectly beautiful. Like I've said many times before, when a restaurant takes a little more time and presents a beautiful presentation of their food on a plate, when the customer sees it served, they already are saying; "That looks delicious", and they want to come back. That is what they do at Kozy Kitchen. They always present a beautiful presentation of their food. Both of our Cheese Omelettes are a thing of beauty. Lots of cheese on there and the hash browns are golden brown with a slight crunch. Just the way we like em, and they are tastylicious. I added black pepper and Cholula hot sauce on my omelette and hash browns. Everything we have ever had here has been delicious. We both thoroughly enjoyed our omelettes and hash browns. My biscuits are fresh, flaky and served warm from the kitchen. I usually spread jelly on mine, but didn't this time. Yumi and the other staff members, stopped by and topped off my coffee. The staff here always have a smile on their face and are very happy to serve you. Yumi earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" award for going 'above-n-beyond' the norm. For those that live in San Angelo, Texas, you have to stop in here sometime and enjoy some breakfast, which is served all day long until they close at 1:30pm. For others that don't live here, when you are in town, this is a must stop. When your not here, check out a mom&pop place near you for some good home town cookin'. On the way back home we cruised in the Vette-Jet on another beautiful San Angelo West Texas morning. Thank You Baby for suggesting Kozy Kitchen for our breakfast. Love You Bunches & KozyMunches.

Little ninja.....? More like THE MAGIC PALACE…read more There is nothing little about this ninja. Went to this top tier establishment with my boiz JOE & WILL.... And let me tell ya, this place will knock your scocks off. We were greeted by the goat of little twinks, Miguel. He led us to our table via cartwheels and a smile. He immediately recommended the dragon roll and boba tea; the house specialty, aka, the house specialty. After splattering soy sauce around like a pig in shit, Miguel cartwheeled over with a desert menu. We politely declined, giving we had already smoked the rock he gave us upon arrival, after our meal. Top tier service, elite twink, will be back tomorrow.

Small portion size with big chunky fried pieces. Miso soup was okay, but wasn't packaged well ended up spilling on the ride home. Genuinely didn't enjoy the four rolls we ordered this time. Got the TNT Roll and California Roll we typically order, but didn't live up to the memory. We arrived at the time our order was supposed to be ready, but had to wait over 30 minutes for the pick up order. Floor was pretty dirty inside, but the tables were wiped down well. There are better options for sushi in Abilene. I do think Little Ninja's is comparable to running to the grocery store at this point. On a silly side note, several of the previous reviews highlight the lore and appeal of meeting Miguel at Little Ninja... I think that might be the most noteworthy aspect of this restaurant.
