    Pad See Eew to go
    Jocelyn L.

I ordered pad see ew with chicken for pick up and this was the best one I've had in a while! The flavors were so rich and the portion was large enough for almost 2 meals. I will surely be coming back here for another meal. It's located in a plaza with a bunch of stores which I also look forward to checking out. I highly recommend checking them out, you won't be disappointed.

I have never left a review on anything, but We are regular customers and enjoy yalls food. Everytime we order it to be delivered there is sauce leaking everywhere. This has happened every single time we order and it's ridiculous. This cannot be the delivery drivers fault because we have a different driver every time and we have ordered yalls food so many times, it would definitely be quite a coincidence. Please take at least some form of care on how you package your customers food.

Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca (gummy boba)

The Panang Curry was my first time trying curry. Slightly spicy and so delicious! I ate it with chicken. Reasonably priced at $11.95 The Beef pho tastes fantastic, it's a cozy meal to eat during the winter. Generous sizes too! The Taro milk tea was a subtle sweet drink just how I like it :) The waitress even gave me the left over milk tea from the mixer so I got my money's worth :) This is my first time at the Basil restaurant, and I will definitely come back! The staff are very kind and knowledgeable of the menu.

We're on a road trip for the GF's birthday. We spend the first couple of days in Marfa, Texas and then decided we needed some valley time. Came back out of the high desert, went east on 10, and headed north to San Angelo. Been wanting to head over that way for awhile; she's checking out food options about 20 miles out and came up with Basil as our lunch destination. Thai food in San Angelo? What could possibly go wrong! Sarcasm aside our choices were really tasty! Steamed dumplings were nice; cream cheese wontons with provided dipping sauce also made good marks. Pad Thai (my dish) ordered 4 spicy provided a nice level of heat. GF's combination lo mein noodles met with her approval too. Couple of issues led you a star knocked off. First, if I'm ordering a high level of spice you'd think the server would be checking on drink levels. Another employee noticed my empty glass more than our actual server. Only other issue was our appetizers basically came out with the entrees. Other than that Basil was a stellar find!

Food was amazing!! Spring rolls were so fresh! Enough pho for take-home. Definitely recommend.

We ordered brisket pho, and the egg rolls

Let me tell you this place is a 10/10. Everything is made fresh and hot when serving you. So glad I found this place you will truly enjoy your food. (Coming from a really picky eater)

    Chicken Satay

Delicious and good priced papaya salad but the chicken satay is the worst I've had. It was so cold and so tough that it wasn't even edible...

4.0 Stars (To-Go Order Review) Location Overview: You can find this restaurant in the large shopping plaza on Knickerbocker and Sunset across the street from the hospital. It is located in one of the smaller shopping plaza's near The UPS Store and Lotus Cafe. Customer Service: This was a to-go order, all items that were ordered through a third party were delivered without any issues. No items missing. Quality/Quantity: The quality of the Beef Pho and spring rolls from Basil were outstanding, had tons of flavor and spiciness, it was just as fresh as if I was at the restaurant. The quantity of items from their menu is extensive and has much to offer and will give you plenty to be full on. Side Notes: Weather you eat here or to-go, this is one of the better Asian options in San Angelo.

Overall I'm impressed with my experience dining here at lunchtime today. The service was prompt and friendly. The appetizer portion size was larger than expected and both appetizers arrived screaming hot! The entrees were both delicious. The curry is the best I've had in San Angelo. It was a little too spicy but I must have gotten accustomed to it because I almost finished it. The reasons I didn't give it five stars, areas in the dining need visible repair such as the ceiling tiles over the sushi bar. There was also a strong cleaning product smell during most of our visit.

I say cars & trucks because this is West Texas, and just about everyone has a truck, except us. We did, and we still should, but that's another story, and I want to keep this review short like my others. Went inside and were told to sit anywhere you want. I guess they really didn't mean that because I sat in the Kitchen, and they kind of frowned. (hehe) That's when we grabbed a booth. Our Server, Norma, came over and took our drink order. Coffee with creamer for me and a glass of water with lemon for Nancy. We looked over the menu as if we didn't know what we wanted, but we did. When Norma returned with our drinks, we placed our order. My Wife is going with her standard, "Two-Egg Cheese Omelet, with Hash Browns and Wheat Bread. I am going with the same thing but having their Biscuits instead. While we waited for our food, I enjoyed some goooood Coffee with French Vanilla Creamer. Kozy Kitchen makes good coffee, not the weak kind you get at some other restaurants. Soon our Cheese Omelets arrived, and they looked delicious. The Hash Browns are prepared just the way we like'em, golden brown on the outer and potato-eee on the inner. The Two Cheese Omelet is also prepared perfectly with lots of Cheese. My Wife's Wheat Bread is toasted with a nice amount of melty butter on it. My Biscuits look different than what they served before. My Wife said they look more like Muffins. I spread lots of butter on one and took my first bite. They are, in fact, "Biscuits", nice-n-flaky inside with a golden-brown outer edge. The top, one could say, looks like a Muffin, but it does taste like a Biscuit. Also added some Strawberry Jam to the Biscuits. I drizzled some Cholula Hot Sauce on top of my Cheese Omelet, which brings out the flavor of tasty heat. That's some mighty good stuff. We both enjoyed our Cheese Omelets, and I ate all of mine and finished up my Wife's Hash Browns, with some added Cholula Hot Sauce. Our Server, Norma, earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and loved it. She showed us the other one she has that I gave her before. Kozy Kitchen is one of the Best Breakfast places in San Angelo, and we Love coming here. They have more than just breakfast, and it's all good. (maybe next time they will let me sit in the kitchen) On the way home, we enjoyed another Beautiful (but getting hot) day in San Angelo, TX. Probably the best breakfast spot in San Angelo as far as I'm (we) are concerned. The service is top notch and the breakfast is simply hard to beat. Little ninja.....? More like THE MAGIC PALACE…read more There is nothing little about this ninja. Went to this top tier establishment with my boiz JOE & WILL.... And let me tell ya, this place will knock your scocks off. We were greeted by the goat of little twinks, Miguel. He led us to our table via cartwheels and a smile. He immediately recommended the dragon roll and boba tea; the house specialty, aka, the house specialty. After splattering soy sauce around like a pig in shit, Miguel cartwheeled over with a desert menu. We politely declined, giving we had already smoked the rock he gave us upon arrival, after our meal. Top tier service, elite twink, will be back tomorrow.

Small portion size with big chunky fried pieces. Miso soup was okay, but wasn't packaged well ended up spilling on the ride home. Genuinely didn't enjoy the four rolls we ordered this time. Got the TNT Roll and California Roll we typically order, but didn't live up to the memory. We arrived at the time our order was supposed to be ready, but had to wait over 30 minutes for the pick up order. Floor was pretty dirty inside, but the tables were wiped down well. There are better options for sushi in Abilene. I do think Little Ninja's is comparable to running to the grocery store at this point. On a silly side note, several of the previous reviews highlight the lore and appeal of meeting Miguel at Little Ninja... I think that might be the most noteworthy aspect of this restaurant.
