We used to come here all the time growing up. They had a short phase a couple of years ago where things weren't fantastic, so we stopped going for a while, however we just went back and it is back to amazing!! such great food at such a great price. Normally this is one of my favorite Chinese food places but we got a to go order the other night and my husband found a large headless black bug in his rice, we think it may have been a beetle or roach, dont know and dont care. Terrible experience! My order was wrong, (they put meat on vegitarian requested food)i felt bad, told the manager it was okay i didnt want to waste it. Instead he tells me with attitude "it wont be wasted, it will get eaten!!!" I left to my car to check my items! This means another customer has purchased food someone else has exchanged!!!! This place is really good. It's cheaper than Panda Express (for lunch at least) and it comes with lots of stuff. The lunch special is like 6.25 for a main course with huge serving of fried rice, egg roll, and soup. It tastes really good. Service is quick. Kinda glorified fast food, but it's good Chinese food! Good Chinese food at a reasonable price and it is close to home. We got take out from Dragon Hill several years ago it was not that good so we had not tried them again until now. We had folks over for the holiday, we had our big holiday meal on Christmas eve so come lunch/late dinner on Christmas day folks were getting hungry. While watching the Christmas Story I got the idea that Chinese was the way to go (FA RA RA RA, RAAA, RAAA RAHH). and was glad to find Dragon hill open. We ordered up a few dishes to go , Mongolian beef, Orange Chicken and Ginger chicken. We got large portions, enough to create another meal for the four of us a day or so later. The food was tasty, the chicken dishes too similar but good. The Mongolian beef had great flavor a bit of spice and a reasonable amount of meat vs onion. All and all a good option. read more

And EVERYONE at the office was ordering from Dragon Hill; so I made a point to give a try this weekend. I was impressed by the friendly service and the quality of food. We got their family option for 2 and it was very good. THE BEST ORANGE/GENERAL TAO CHICKEN IN THE STATE! The other stuff is fine but is mostly fried and easily upsets the stomach. Excellent food here and heaps of it for the price. I can normally get two entrees and an order of fried rice for take-out and it's enough food for 6-7 people to eat a lot. Their spring rolls are pretty tasty. The staff is usually friendly enough to get the job done. Standard strip mall atmosphere. Parking is always easy enough. I've eaten here for years and even though the food and service have steadily declined my last two experiences in as many weeks have mustered the death knell for this sub-standard place. Two weeks ago my wife and I ate here and she bit into a LARGE chunk of metal. The server was good about it and comped her meal. As it should be. Ate here again tonight and the food was mediocre but the service was AWFUL. No, make that SUPER RUDE. The owner ( I think that's who he is) had a terrible attitude and grumbled loudly about getting out to go boxes. Everyone at our table, all 5 of us were flabbergasted at his rudeness. I made a joke about not taking my son-in-law's credit card because I was going to pay and my son-in-law snuck the check away and the owner/manager abruptly turned and very rudely said "bye". And I said I won't be back and he again said "bye" and did a little hand wave as if to shoo me away. It is by far the RUDEST I have ever been treated at any restaurant EVER. Your wish is granted pal. Found the place on Yelp while driving home from Salt Lake City. Four stars for Chinese food, figured had to try it. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but was worth the drive. Ordered edamame and veggie spring rolls to start. The veggie spring rolls were good, but a bit greasy. The edamame was wonderful, piping hot and just the right amount of salt! My daughter had the orange chicken, and said it was wonderful, many times! I ordered the Szechuan green bean. It wasn't spicy enough for me, but that's normal for most restaurants. The quantity of food was normal for most Chinese restaurants, that is, more than enough for each person. Overall the experience was very good, I would recommend when you're passing through. read more

Used to be decent. Visited for the first time in a year and a half. Awful. No flavor, overcooked, overpriced.

We had three different dishes-- sw/sr chicken dinner, chicken lo mein dinner, and vegetables in garlic sauce. It was as if they forgot to add any seasoning to any of the food (including the fried rice that came with the dishes). It was, without a doubt, the worst Chinese food I've ever had (and I really don't expect a lot from quick Chinese food). We had to add so much soy sauce and so many of our own seasonings just to make it taste good. The egg rolls were delicious, but I don't see myself ever going back just for that. read more

We have ordered here from time to time thinking we just caught them on a bad night but this place is consistently bad. The food is microwaved, drenched in sauce to cover up the bad food and the vegetables are not fresh. They would do well well if they would attempt to have any sort of quality. Tonight I got Mongolian Beef, it was a container half full of sauce, 4 pieces of beef and some old soggy white onions and one green onion piece. I then had the pan fried vegetables noodles, it was some old fettuccine noodles not cooked today with old soggy vegetables and a ton of sauce. The third item ordered was sweet and sour chicken and it was over breaded pieces of hard chicken. I would have been better served going to the grocery store and buying frozen Chinese food and might have had better quality at a cheaper price. This place has gone downhill the food is poor quality me and my husband went and I got some chicken chow main of course my daughter in law and my husband ate some of it and we all ended up with food poisoning going on day 2 now it sucks of course they think it wasn't from them but I had not ate anything all day until then and nothing after so go figure then I found out by other people that they have got food poisoning from this place too you suck dragon hill will never go back again read more

I would order everything again! I loved the food! The Chicken with Almond is so fresh tasting and flavorful. It seemed like every menu item we tried just took that regular Chinese takeout item and made it a little better. The extra flavors added did not go unnoticed. Everyone loved the Orange Chicken (including some who never loved it before), Manadarin Beef, Chicken Chow Mein (so tasty - we could've sworn there was slight peanut sauce hint). I have had better cream cheese Rangoons, but they were still good. Just average. The eggs rolls were yummy, but not as stand out differently delicious as the previously mentioned entrees. read more

I've been on a kick trying new places since I'm new to the area. Decided to go here for dinner instead of my usual fav fugi dragon in Ogden. Read the reviews and felt that it was worth the time to try this place out. Came in around 7 pm on a week night and they were basically empty. Took us to a booth and gave us the menu. I got my coupon out and handed it to the waitress, a few minutes later the manager came up and informed me that my $5 off of $20 was for a different Chinese place- we all laughed and I proceeded to take the coupon back (a little embarrassed) and the manager said he would go ahead and honor the coupon since we came in. AWESOME!!! So we decided upon the dinner for two special and changed the sweet and sour pork to chicken and kept the cashew chicken as the other dish. Everything we had was really good. I'm picky about Chinese food and the quality of the chicken was great! The portions were substantial and the staff was prompt, attentive and friendly. Love this place. We eat here fairly often. Normally I kind of judge chinese restaurants by their fried rice and Dragon Hills isn't that good. It's ok, I'd call it better than average but nt something to keep coming back for (no chives, few eggs, dries out and isn't great reheated) . However, the rest of their menu is pretty consistently great. It is fairly americanized and tends to be on the sweet side but the flavors are awesome. Something had gotten spilled on the floor by my table and when the waiter was bringing me my soup he had a mop in his other had and stopped to mop the floor before handing me my soup.
