However as a long time customer that has been misled and ripped off as of late I can say with confidence that this establishment has gone down hill exponentially. You order extra meat and pay for it but do not get it. We tried this a few times thinking they made a mistake and the last thing I want To do is give some poor immigrant a hard time over a portion. But after last night we are done. They raised the prices and then here we are again trying to entertain on meager portions was futile and the grease content was off the charts. In my opinion they are disposing of other restaurants grease into their food and calling it "flavoring" Very disappointing and will not be returning. My bf and I were craving for some Chinese food for dinner and we chose to try this place out and I'm so glad that we did! The restaurant itself is clean but the way this place sets the seat for customer is kinda difficult for 2 people eating here, all the seats are for 4 people. When it's not busy, it's fine. But one time we went to have dinner and it was pretty busy, my bf and I had to sit at a table set for 4 people and not long after that a family came but there was no seat for them because most of the people who were eating there are 2 people but they also sat at the table for 4. I don't know how to explain it but hopefully it makes sense. Now we're talking about the food. Wow... Just wow. Their food are amazing! My bf and I had the Dinner Specials, that was a lot of food! And for the price? Can't beat it. So far we have tried their Sweet & Sour chicken, Orange Chicken, Kungpao Chicken, Kungpao Beef, Cashew Chicken, they're delicious!!! I ordered chicken noodle soup halfway through eating it. I realized it was loaded with shrimp ended up having to get rushed to the hospital because I am allergic went into anaphylactic shock after the hospital trip. If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered the orange chicken dinner combo. First came out an egg roll with wontons. The wontons were stale and inedible and the egg roll had complete mush on the inside. It had the consistency of baby food. Then came out orange chicken with fried rice and lo mein noodles. The orange chicken had a thinned out marmalade sauce and the chicken was mealy and had no crunch to the fried batter. It was stale. Rice and noodles had vegetables and were completely bland. This was the worst food I have ever had. Terrible service as well. We left our plates full and didn't even take the to go boxes offered. They didn't ask a question or wonder why we left plates full of food on the table. Just dropped the check on the table. I would never return here ever. Family owned restaurant with a large selection of choices. Quality and service have been good. Have had teriyaki and seseme chicken dishes. My favorites have been mongolian beef or beef and broccoli dishes with the lo mein soft noodles. Very ample portions and usually enough for two meals. I usually prefer Thai or Vietnamese food, however, my Son would probably live here if they let him. He has the orange chicken at least twice a week. I took home ultra large portions that were better than from most of the local Chinese Restaurants near me.The Chicken in the dishes were cooked especially well and all the dishes included nicely cooked crisp fresh vegetables. One of the different dishes I took home was Spicy Rock cod with black bean sauce. The fish actually seemed fresh and was cooked nicely. The vegetables in the dish were fresh and crispy.I thought this was an unusual for take out from a Chinese Restaurant and I liked that. The spicy basil tofu lacked fresh basil....I thought I'd enjoy this dish but it was undeveloped with very dry dead basil. I also took out Thai Curry Chicken. I do NOTE that the chicken was cooked very nicely and ABOVE AVERGE... but the curry was very weak to me..... This dish didn't seem like Thai in any way to me but I'm not Thai so I can't say for sure. If I could I would give 3.5 stars stars because the chicken here was prepared above average for the Chinese restaurants I've been to near this area. Portions from take out were CRAZY large and also very sloppy and messy in package. They do pack too much food in the styrofoam package so Bring a TOWEL. Overall a pretty decent place to visit when in the area. They do offer many different dishes that you won't find at other Chinese Restaurants. Worthy of a try. This place is a ripoff. More than half the lunch "special" is semi-colored (fried?) rice with a dab of the menu item you choose. I ordered the mongolian beef, but was given mongoilian onions with very little beef. Then, for some strange reason you don't get the soup if it's to-go. Why not? Aren't you paying the same? So I order a soup. The only size on the menu was 32oz for $8,45, but I was asked if I wanted small so I said yes. I should've said large because the small is half the size but costs $5+. This place is right near me and I have never popped in here. However, today I broke that streak. I was looking for a decent Chinese place by my house. All the other I found except for Pei Wei suck Turkey nostrils. To my surprise, this place was quaint and cute. Run by a mother and her kids, they pump it out for the small group that they are. The menu is your typical staple of Chinese food. All I can say is this, it's clean, the food and portion size are ample and the service is very accommodating. We were told that the egg drop soup, which is really tasty, is better with green onions and chili. The potstickers are divine, and the dipping sauce is perfect. We had the chicken dragon bowl - too spicy for me, but the chicken was super tender. We also had the Shanghai Noodles, a great alternative to fried rice or Lo mein. We've been ordering from them for a while - the food is good but our experience with their customer service was terrible!!! We placed an order & they read back the order to us for confirmation. We picked up an order but did not check if they packed everything correctly. After we got home, we discovered that they did not give us the crab puffs that we ordered and paid for. My husband called them and asked for the crab puffs to be delivered & was told by the gentleman that they will charge us a delivery fee since we are 6 miles away from them. No apology for messing up the order but asking for more money! Obviously, we weren't going to pay for their screw up - asked for a refund & were told they will refund our credit card for the food they failed to give us - they LIED, its over a week now & still no refund. It's a small place and decorated as you'd expect a Chinese restaurant to be decorated, you can't help but feel comfortable.
