Today we finally had our sliding glass door repaired. The size of our door is 9x4 feet wide and has been extremely difficult to open and close. I called Dr Slide-Door and they were able to come to my home and assess the door and rail and determined that the rail and rollers had to be replaced. The work was completed in a very short time period and the difference is amazing. We can now open and close the sliding door with minimal effort. We have been in our house since 1993 and this is the first time we have taken the time to fix this problem. Very pleased with the result and the service. read more

Dr Slide- Door was quick to respond and schedule us for an estimate. Stanley provided us with a quote that was 30% less than another recent one So I authorized the work immediately. He had the necessary hardware on his truck and was able to complete the job quickly and tightened up a few other things above and beyond what was required. I would highly recommend Dr Slide Door and appreciate a job well done by a very pleasant technician! read more

Our bedroom slider was so rusted it barely opened. I requested a quote on Yelp, and Meri responded within minutes. We set a consultation date and time, and Shay was on time and very personable. He gave me a quote of $1200 to replace the sliding door rollers in the primary bedroom, and $200 to clean and lube the living room rollers. Thank goodness the rollers in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were in good shape! I had to head back to work, so I left him to diagnose the problem. He got back to me quickly with what the problems were and how he fixed them. Turns out the rollers didn't need to be replaced, and he saved me $600! The 5 star reviews are well earned, and I would recommend Shay for all your sliding door issues! They've earned my business for life! read more

My sliding door was stuck and I saw ad in the OC Trending mailer for Dr. Slide-Door. I got an appointment for the next day! Shai and Stanley arrived on time and gave me a free estimate. I was happy with the estimate so they started working on it right away. (They gave me several options for replacing the rollers, and told me how long the rollers tend to last.). They were very friendly and hard-working. I was very happy with the job; they paid attention to the details and made sure everything was working perfectly! After they finished, I can slide the door open with my pinky! The door is working better than it ever was before the problem happened. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who has a problem with their sliding door! read more

Yelp reviews win the day, again! Booked an estimate and repair based on the great review status. We had 65 year old 200lb sliding glass doors that have been subjected to years of outside salt air moisture. All of the hardware screws were either in advanced stages of rusting or fell off due to turning to rust powder. If you live near the beach, you know. It was at the point that all sliders would no longer roll to open. I assumed all rollers had corroded out of existence. We were bracing ourselves for a full demo and rebuild for all 3 old sliders, which were installed initially during the initial 1962 construction, is very difficult to work locations. Luckily, the quality of the doors were such that Yaniv was able to recommend servicing and replacing rollers. Also gave us helpful tips on how to keep these doors lubed and trouble free for the future. Yaniv was great to work with- knowledgeable, friendly , kept in good communication about arrival time, professional - able to address all of our issues. This company saved us a tone of money. This company was not the cheapest option, but in relation to what a full replacement would have cost, it was money well spent for the knowledge, competency, and professionalism that seems to be a thing of the past. read more

They came out and replaced the track and the wheels on the door. Great service. Fast and efficient.

Our sliding glass doors were so difficult to open that I just quit using them. We were looking into replacing them (and coping with the sticker shock) when we ran across an ad for Dr. Slide Door. Although the repairs weren't cheap (replaced rollers) it was far less expensive than replacing the entire door. Only one door actually needed repair - the other just needed to be put back on the track, cleaned and lubricated. Now the repaired door opens with one finger. We actually have to be careful not to slam it shut. Great experience with Shai - 100% recommend if you don't want to pay thousands for door replacement. read more

We called and scheduled doctor slide door to come and fix a door we did not want to replace. Shai was an intelligent, and honest representative of Dr. Slide-Door. He explained that the problem was in the tract not the glass doors. He and said that our doors were made years ago better than how doors are made today, He showed us the problem and gave us three different options & prices to choose from. When he was done the doors slid easily and quietly than ever before. I highly recommend Dr. Slide-Door and if Shai shows up to give his opinion, you'll understand why he gets a 5 STAR review. The technician, Stan Hall called to confirm the scheduled time, and to expect him on time ,upon his arrival, he took a minute to inspect the sliding door and asked what issues I had with it. He also explained my options thoroughly and inquired about my expectations. He kept me informed as the repair process moved forward and also showed me the defective parts and the parts to be installed. It was obvious he works at a high skill level and has been well trained. He turned on old impossible to close door into one that moved like butter .In closing He had me check his work & Open and close the door myself to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. He definitely exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Stan Hall and Dr. Slide Door in the future. Dr. Slide slid through to my house and provided amazing service. I had him look at two sliding doors and he said only one needed to be fixed. He didn't try to up-sell me on anything. He stated the facts and his prices and allowed me and my wife to decide on what to get. He changed the rollers, track, and lock in short time. He was thorough and efficient. I appreciated how friendly he was and I enjoyed our conversation. My big dog was happy to meet him and he passed the smell test so I knew he was legit. The handle on my wooden sliding door broke long ago. I made an appointment with Lazami Lock and Key, a locksmith I commonly use, but they did not show up for the appointment. I called various locksmith companies and found out that they really don't like to do this kind of work because they don't have the handles in stock. I came across a paper advertisement for "Mr. Slide Door," but they had very poor reviews. Then I came across "Dr. Slide Door" and I made a phone call. I was impressed that a human being answered and made an immediate appointment. I requested a 30-minute notice before they arrived on the specific date. Yes, Yaniv called exactly 30 minutes before he arrived. He is a tall, knowledgeable, friendly person. He knew exactly how to fix my door, and he had the handle in his truck. I didn't time him, but it seemed like it was less than 30 minutes. The handle he installed was of a better quality than my existing handle. My husband thought the price was high, and maybe so, but I am so relieved to have that broken door fixed. read more

So many great things to say about Dr. Slide-Door! Our sliding door has been difficult to open and close for YEARS. We finally got fed up and called Dr. Slide-Door. We originally thought that we needed to replace the whole door and drop thousands, but they came out and said that we only need to replace the track and wheels. We called on a Monday, and they were ready to send someone out on the same day to fix it up. Unfortunately, I wasn't home at the time, but on Tuesday, they sent Yaniv out to fix up our door in under 2 hours. He was well-equipped with stainless steel tracks + new wheels. He even added a lock on the outside of the sliding door. We are very pleased with the service and efficiency! Thanks, Yaniv! read more
