Shay called to let me know of the time he was to arrive today. He was on time to give an estimate for my for repair of screen doors, and to to repair one of my double sliding glass door that was difficult to open. Dr SlideDoor doesn't replace screen frames. He examined the sliding door and did a quick fix not using lubicant. And now it slides smoothly. He explained why it was sticking. Was easy making an appointment for the next day. They gave a 4 hour appointment window, and called 20 minutes before they arrived. Once they arrived, they were very professional. We had a sliding door that was stuck and wouldn't open anymore. They looked at it and gave a free quote. Honestly, the cost was more than I was expecting (I have no idea how much sliding door repairs cost), but they had to do a fair amount of work - replacing and adjusting the roller, cleaning and lubricating the track, and resizing the door (part of the reason the door was stuck was because it was too big for the track). We decided to go with it, and they were done fixing it pretty fast. The door has never moved smoother (including when we first moved in and it was still new)! Overall was a great experience. They were timely and honest about what the issues were and how much each potential repair might cost. If we ever have issues with our other sliding doors, this is where we're going! The service person said he could fix it (he was very polite), and then his manager (pronounced Shy, not sure of the spelling) instructed him not to do the job. So many great things to say about Dr. Slide-Door! Our sliding door has been difficult to open and close for YEARS. We finally got fed up and called Dr. Slide-Door. We originally thought that we needed to replace the whole door and drop thousands, but they came out and said that we only need to replace the track and wheels. We called on a Monday, and they were ready to send someone out on the same day to fix it up. Unfortunately, I wasn't home at the time, but on Tuesday, they sent Yaniv out to fix up our door in under 2 hours. He was well-equipped with stainless steel tracks + new wheels.
