    Whatever the (good) reviews of this place are the customers either played "spin the bottle" for good service in actually getting it or they're bot accounts just placing "good" reviews to give this place a better name than what they deserve. I brought my car to this location in mid January this year because Mr. Brian Crosby worked at this dealership from previously being at Hyundai Of Seattle - "which is another story" & why he told me he left coming to Doug's Hyundai for a routine oil change & inspection. That was done in a reasonably fast fashion, but I was told my car needed my "engine valve coverings resealed" & that they were leaking oil. I was told by the previous place Hyundai of Seattle that same thing. So Brian scheduled me in for early February back at Doug's Hyundai. So early February rolled around & it was time to bring my car in, only to find out Brian is no longer with Doug's Hyundai but now next door at Doug's Mazda. I was like "WHAT??!" He was the whole reason I was there in the first place & here's why. After he was transferred, NO ONE knew why I was there, aside from having an appointment. I was told "they were looking into it" long story short I was told to give them an hour & they would tell me what was "up" with my car. That hour turned into 3 & STILL no word. I finally told Wes an employee there that I had to go, I couldn't be there all day waiting to find out what should have already been conveyed in some sort of note etc. I told Wes to keep the car, that hopefully by Friday since this was a Monday they would have it figured out, fixed, & we all could move forward. That's NOT what happened. My car basically sat there for 3 weeks in the lot. I think it was inspected ONCE, in finding out what the real issue/issues were. I needed my left side axel repaired & my power steering fixed up, to the tune of about 3,600 which at this point is more than my car is worth sadly. I agreed to pay it as Wes said he was gonna order the parts in week 2 of my car still being there. I was then notified days later that the parts were there & it was Wes's "hope that in a few days my car would be fixed." That was the 3rd & final week my car was still sitting in the lot. Finally I told Wes I'm coming to get my car, 3 weeks is ludicrous along with the excuses & lies. When I showed up to get the car, a bald guy at the desk asked me what I was there for, "which they all knew." Then proceeded to say, if I knew any mechanics that were "looking for work" since good help was hard to find these days. Not sure if he was throwing the tech/mechanics under the bus, but THEY ALL FAILED as far as I'm concerned. I'm DONE with Hyundai dealerships/service departments. I'll figure something else out in the future maintenance of my car. At least I got the parts & I'm trusting a family mechanic to do what Doug's Hyundai FAILED TO DO!! PS: the parts arrived & sat in the boxes unopened for that last week. Just wow! See attachment. Never again!!

    Our New 2024 Hyundai Kona (Named Shrek)

    For starters, these guys are legit. They run their store with precision and grace, and strive to help people get the best deal possible. Debra helped us out with most of the particulars of buying our first new car. She patiently explained all the features of our 2024 Kona (some more than once) and walked us through connecting the car to our phones. David was focused on the financial side and scored us an outrageous deal on our extended warrantee. Thanks for all your help, team! Hope you got some sleep after we kept you so late.

    Fake car fax for compared car for purchase

    Went there and had a bunch of confusion on if the vehicle was ready or not. It was and went to negotiation. And they were only to move $200. Comparing a fake car in another state. They switched salesman even before we arrived which is also confusing. Gave fabricated Car fax with a car that looked like it was the one we were leaving to buy after. But honestly it's all on the manager. The salesman we worked with Peter was respect and just following out his bosses orders and negotiation tactics. It was just not fact checking and then even catching a lie from the boss, it was all weird. After this experience we won't search out Doug's Hyundai for business; knowing that the GM is making false statements and standing with them . Also watched him lecture the salesman infront of the window after, like a kid. That should be done in private office for teaching.

The parking lot and store were slightly busy, but a few parking spots were available. After walking the aisles and not spotting hubcaps, I approached the front counter and was warmly greeted by a worker. I asked about hubcaps and she asked what size my tires were. I had taken a few pictures and she looked at them, then offered to take a look at the car. We walked out to my car and they were 15 inch tires. We went back inside the store and she showed me three options they had for hubcaps at that size (two silver and one black and gray). I decided to go with the black and gray ones, which came in a 4-pack. The total with tax was less than $60. On Monday 21 July 2025, I went to install one and found it appeared to be too flat to install on the tire of my car (the plastic of the hubcap pressed against the metal of the wheel/tire such that it impeded the hubcap properly snapping into place). After removing any smudges from the hubcap I attempted to install and putting everything back in the original packaging, I came back to the store this morning (Tuesday 22 July 2025) to see if I could return the item. My inquiry was processed by an alert worker and I was issued a full refund. While the item did not work, my overall shopping experience was excellent.

I traded in a 2020 Honda CR-V for a 2017 Prius C. I wanted to downsize my car and save on gas. The car up front seemed great with low miles, but it was missing a key fob, which Tommy conveniently did not tell me about until everything was already signed, so there was no way to negotiate. The rubber around one of the windows is loose as well. During negotiations, we could overhear the other salesmen talking shit about their customers. I was too exhausted to ask more about getting a second key fob, so a few days later I tried to call Tommy. He never gave me a business card nor wrote down his information anywhere, so I could not contact him directly. When I called their general phone number, someone answered and passed me off to a man named "Carlos". Right off the bat he was super aggressive when I told him politely about the key fob. He told me I would "have to take it up with Tommy" and that they don't have to provide a second key fob because it's not certified used. I told him Tommy never told me any of this information until after signing so how would I know? I had tried to reach out to Tommy more than once but got a general voicemail, and never received a call back. Avoid this dealership and buy a car where people care about you, at Lynnwood Honda.
