Cheesy chili and hot pepper seed

Amazingly simple dog but flavorful and they have a great assortment of toppings. Served hot on a freshly steamed bun. An absolute must try if your looking for a tasty hot dog!!!

(Jul 2026) They have lovely indoor seating in a warm-looking wood paneled dining room. We sat outside with a view of Monadnock Mountain behind the gold course. We always have their selected craft drafts from the online tsp list. Inside they also have a hand-written tap list above the bar. We had a rich refreshing overflowing steak tip salad: huge chunks of tender beef mixed with greens, chopped green sweet-peppers, sliced red onions, and fresh cucumber pieces. We had a tender turkey BLT with crispy bacon and fresh veggies on crisply-toasted white. A lovely afternoon!

We've been here a bunch of times now, and every single visit reminds us why we keep coming back especially when the weather is nice enough to sit outside on the deck. The location is tough to beat. Grabbing a table on the back deck gives you a front row seat to Mount Monadnock standing tall in the background while golfers navigate the course below. It's a super relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes it way too easy to lose track of an afternoon. Food wise, they nail classic, crowd-pleasing pub fare across the entire menu. The loaded Philly cheesesteak is an absolute standout packed with savory, tender beef, melted cheese, and all the right toppings. You really can't go wrong with any of their burgers or pizzas, and the French fries are always golden, crispy, and addictive. My wife loves their fresh salads whenever she wants something a bit lighter, and their classic fish and chips golden, crispy batter on the outside with flaky, tender fish inside is another top tier choice that never disappoints. To wash it all down, they feature 24 rotating draft lines on tap, loaded with an impressive lineup of local craft brews. Being able to try different regional beers while kicking back with a view of the mountain is about as good as a local pub night gets. Whether you're wrapping up a round of golf, coming down off a hike, or just looking for a solid meal with a scenic view, this place delivers every time. We'll definitely be back soon!

Wonderful experience and apologize for this lengthy review but needed to give credit when credit is…read moredue! Recently my wife and I drove 3.5 hours from Cape Cod to Bernardston to take my elderly sister out to dinner for her birthday. I looked for a nice restaurant where she had never been and settled in The Farm Table on Rte 5 just north of Greenfield. Our experience began as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. The grounds were magnificent and entire property was immaculately kept. Upon our arrival we were struck by the beautifully designed interior, ample spacing of the tables and area rugs on the wooden floor. The furniture was traditional New England style and the vaunted room made you feel you were dining in a historic inn. Soon our server Joe came to greet us and couldn't have been more welcoming or pleasant. He made us feel comfortable and gave us time to visit with each other without pestering us for our order. When our cocktails arrived they each came in carefully selected glasses that were reflective of the motif of the room. Soon we ordered dinner and that's when things got even better! The food was wonderful. The entrées in good time and again the presentation was purposefully planned. Stoneware China, mismatched vintage silverware and quality cloth napkins. The meatloaf/mashed/veg meals my wife and sister enjoyed were outstanding. I wanted to go in the kitchen and ask the chef for his recipe! My chicken was perfectly seasoned and prepared and the homemade rough cut mashed potatoes a perfect pairing. I think you get the point of this review! This dining experience, not such the great food, was well worth the 7 hours of driving! The space, service, presentation, value and of course the food were all outstanding. So often recently we leave a "nice" restaurants after dinner feeling ok/good about the experience. Tuesday night we felt elated. This is what dining out should be like! Bravo and we will be back!

I may be in the minority, but I REALLY wish there wasn't live music (often with a cover charge) nearly every single weekend night. Personally I avoid it if there's a loud band playing music I don't want to hear (and often with a cover charge on top of it). If they made live music more of a special occasion or at least a more sporadic thing, I'd be there far more frequently, spending money. I've talked to a few others who feel the same. Management, if you're reading this, please consider that live amateur music is not everybody's thing. Acoustic (background) music is one thing but having a loud band almost every single weekend night at a neighborhood bar in a tiny town is overkill. Some people just like hanging out and talking and with background music on. I dunno, just strikes me as a neighborhood bar trying to be a live music venue that is really just a neighborhood bar. Still a good spot overall!

Great people watching, and dog friendly if that's important to you. Personally, the inside would have been too dark to have lunch on a beautiful sunny day. Beer selection was good, and the menu was well rounded American fare. We split a burger & fries & it passed the test. The waitress was friendly and attentive. This restaurant fit the funky vibe of Peterborough and it's worth a stop if you're in town.
