I read the reviews and seemed like a spot to try. It was nice inside. The server brought my beverages and took my order in a timely manner. I got my food in a decent amount of time and then the disappointment. I had the biscuit and sausage gravy with eggs and side sausage patty. The eggs and sausage were overcooked. The sausage had a weird texture and flavor. There was very little gravy and it didnt taste like any I ever tasted. The biscuits were large and grill, but had no flavor of their own. The food was tepid. The server didn't come back. I had to ask another server for coffee. I only ate a small portion of my meal because I had to fast for a medical procedure and it had been 16 hours between meals. The pricing was very good. read more

This is the most fantastic breakfast spot in Parker. Everything was top notch, from the coffee to the cinnamon roll, it was just fantastic. Everyone quite enjoyed their meal and we've already decided what we'd like to try the next time we're coming. Because we will definitely be back. read more

I have been to other Doug's before and absolutely loved it. I was excited to see we were getting one in Parker. My entire party was very disappointed. Our food was bland and room temperature. My omelet tasted like I was biting into styrofoam. The service was poor. We had to go up to the bar to get our coffee refilled. Everyone also got very sick after. The kids pancakes were delicious though. This place has a lot of potential and I hope they can get it together soon. read more

I really hate doing reviews like this but unfortunately I had one of the worst breakfasts/meals of my life this morning. Perhaps it was nearly waiting for menus and drinks for 10 minutes with a nearly empty place, and we ordered water and hot chocolate that was so sweet I couldn't even finish it. I ordered huevos rancheros and was literally served slop on a plate. I might as well asked for soup because that's what it really looked like with all of that green sauce all over it. Beans weren't even cooked all the way. It was lukewarm and then eventually just got cold and I took a few bites but couldn't bring myself to finish even half of it. I literally just threw my napkin over the plate so they couldn't see I didn't eat any of it because I was so disgusted and just wanted to get out of there. Service was ok but not great. I just felt a very lazy and dismissive vibe from that place. Word of advice: Don't put things on your menu that you can't cook. It's truly bizarre to me because I've had lunch there down in the Springs which was great! I just don't think breakfast is their thing... read more

Usually this is a great place for my husband and I to eat breakfast on the weekends. But not this morning. We were seated and waited almost 30 minutes and no one waited on us. But people that came in after us were waited on. We ended up walking out, along with another couple at a different table. They were busy, but not too busy for the waitresses to keep stopping and visiting with each other. I'm sure we'll try again. read more

Starting off, my coffee cup was dirty with a sticky handle. The biscuit was hard, the gravy was burned, the bacon was rubbery, and the sausage was a frozen hamburger patty with grill marks on it. My wife's breakfast was cold. this is the second time we have been there with the same issues. I know restaurants are short-staffed as every business is, but gotta do better. read more

I love that there a few new restaurants opening in Parker, so I get pretty excited to try new ones around here, but this one just didn't do it for me. The food was okay, nothing great, but nothing terrible. My medium ordered burger that came out completely overcooked was fine, but not the way I ordered it. The service was really the downfall. Our gal was not friendly, addressed nothing with a sense of urgency, and really seemed annoyed if we asked for anything. She would not just address our table, anytime she came out if we asked for something or needed to bring us something, she had to stop at her other tables as well. I would get it if the kitchen was far or if they were busy, but it really just seemed like we werent worth her time unless she knocked a few tables out at a time. Newly opened in Parker and it is great. The service was incredible; coffee and water were never empty and food came out fast. The portion sizes are very large and prices competitive with other breakfast restaurants. The menu items are what sets them apart from the others. Lots of items with chile and a great assortment of omelettes and sweet treats. Cannot wait to go back. read more

I'm sorry the food was ok but the wait was over an hour and the food took forever to come out. I lost my appetite while waiting so long. Will not go back there... my kids had French toast they said it was dry and they didn't even eat it after waiting an hour to be seated and another 25 min to get food... so not worth the wait. Sorry I don't give bad reviews unless it's pretty bad. We were visiting with a doggie and needed to meet our grandma where there was outdoor seating. I should have just gone to Lazy Dog. Shout out to everyone at Doug's Diner, Parker CO! I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The food is great, reasonably priced, and the restaurant is clean. The service is OUTSTANDING! A shout out to everyone who works at Doug's. You are the most important aspect of dining out. From the hostess to the cooks to the waitstaff - you are all wonderful! This morning Lonnie (Allen) took care of us. He was attentive, absolutely positive - awesome! The restaurant was packed, he had multiple tables and yet, his attention was focused on us when he approached our table. Tried this location for brunch/lunch today. Place was packed and on a 20 minute wait @ 12:30PM, not unusual here in Parker on Sunday morning/early afternoon. Staff very busy but service was doing well keeping up, turning tables quickly, etc. Food took a little time to arrive but not unreasonably long for a packed restaurant - food was delivered hot and fresh as soon as it was ready. I ordered the lunch burrito with carne asada which came smothered in green chili, melted cheese, with lettuce, tomato, guacamole and sour cream. Side pintos, hash browns and a serving of cole slaw. Everything was good and there was a lot of it! The burrito was absolutely stuffed with meat - it took a few bites for me to adjust to the carne asada which is very good, I think "chunky" would be the best way to describe it. Everyone else was happy with their meals as well and three of us 5 had plenty to take home for later. Lots of families with younger kids and the place is fairly noisy but not overwhelmingly so. Will add Doug's to the rotation of places we frequent here in Parker. read more

My husband and I walked into Doug's in Parker after church, on Easter Sunday. They were not busy yet. We put our names on the waitlist but then asked about the bar area. The hostess explained that was open seating. We found a place at the bar, the only people at the bar. We waited for 15 minutes and after 4 servers made their way behind the bar for various reasons, no one asked if we had been served. In fact, one server proceeded to fold napkins. This location for Doug's Diner is not recommended as it simply does not compare to the one farther north off of Parker Road. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this location. read more

Nice day outside so our group of 4 chose the outdoor seating; one table with customers still eating and 2 needing busing so we were seated at a clean table by the hostess and waited for a server - and waited and waited. Finally a possibly still in High School young lady server arrived and took our beverage orders (one of our party asked about wine availability and received a semi-terse NO with no further details). We got our drinks in a timely manner but I ordered iced tea and failed to note I had no straw or silverware to stir it. After a period of time, another server appeared to bus one of the other tables so I was able to acquire napkins, straws and silverware. By this time, my already very weak iced tea had been diluted further by the wait for utensils. Whatever - the chicken fried steak was very good and we were pleased with everything ordered. Later, apparently in explaining the lapse in service the server said the outside server had been sent home and no one had been assigned to cover it. I would put that on the manager of the day but in my opinion the younger staff member we had could use some guidance in courteous behavior to your customers. Been loyal customers for YEARS. Our daughter has worked there for almost 2 years working her way up from a host/buser to a server. She just took 2 weeks off to do a college class and then tour colleges with plenty of advance notice. She has given up school theater for the job, she took no time off except for SAT tests, school related functions and today she was told she is being demoted (or a better word for it, punished) for taking time off and not working hard enough. For those who enjoyed Aly, I hope you all find a new place to eat. You have lost our business and we will not hesitate to spread the word on how poor the new manager is and how bad ownership is to allow such poor management of its employees. This place used to be better. The food is still decent but not as good as it used to be. The biscuits used to come out perfectly fluffy and light brown.... now they are overdone and not as appetizing. The papas plate used to be spot on and now it's mostly a pile of hash browns with a little bit of the advertised toppings. The green chili has changed also and not what it used to be. Not sure if they have different cooks now but definitely not the same. And the SERVICE....or lack of. The waitstaff used to be so friendly, welcoming and attentive. It was easy to have a little conversation and felt more like a neighborhood place. Now you have to ask multiple times for things, we had to get our own creamer for our coffee and had to search for our server, Alan after he disappeared multiple times and we had to ask other servers for help. I rarely ever write reviews, but my friends and I came into Doug's for some late breakfast last Saturday and had a wonderful experience I thought would be worth sharing! The hostess (Annabel) approached us with a positive attitude and we were seated quickly. As restaurant workers ourselves, we were impressed with how fast she worked under the pressure as well as helping her coworkers to clean tables. Our waitress was attentive, thoughtful, and funny! We love the Doug's Diner in Greeley and we were happy to find that the Parker was just as good, if not better! read more

Great option in town for breakfast. Always busy but worth the wait. Lattes are good size. The sweet cream french toast is delicious. The breakfast burrito is mondo sized and has a bit of heat to it so fair warning. Not a fast place to eat so make sure you have time to spend when you go. read more

Our first time here. Ordered Huevos Socorro (Huevos Rancheros with Carne Asada). Got a side of green and res chile. BEST New Mexican food in Colorado we've had! The red Chile was on pointtttt. We also ordered the Reuben, 9/10 flavor and one of the best Reubens we've had. Our server, Taylor, was professional and quick. We'll definitely be back soon. Yum! read more

It's really hit and miss at this diner. We've only gone there for Breakfast but they do serve anything that's on the menu anytime. I've seen their hamburgers that could feed an army and also their pancakes. Like I mentioned, it's hit and miss here. Sometimes it's fantastic and the servers are great, other times I ask myself, why did I come back here. Some servers are VERY forgetful and it's almost like they have musical cooks in the kitchen. Their plating can be very mixed up at times, getting a meal I didn't even order.... again forgetful servers. This establishment serves an attached hotel, so at times it's going to be packed in the morning and LOUD. Just expect it. So I'm going on the middle of the road for this place. Again depending on which server you get, can make or break a meal. I never see a boss out on the floor checking on service or the food. read more

We *were* excited to have another breakfast place in Parker. We stopped in on a Sunday morning. The staff are definitely still working out the kinks when it comes to seating. The hostess was super busy, but she was doing just fine. But, two servers kept coming over and trying to seat people ahead of us because they didn't think it was fair to move two tables together because the tables were in different sections. Nevermind that we had been waiting almost 35 minutes. They also kept trying to stick 5 of us at a SMALL 4 top. They were acting annoyed that we wouldn't just sit down at a too small table. Weird. We ordered our drinks. Our waitress (not one of the trouble makers) was truly delightful! She was attentive without being in the way. On to the food...so much promise in the menu, so little delivery on the actual food. I don't know how, but they over cooked the thick cut bacon until it was like eating jerky. The eggs were beyond dry and were, in fact, burnt in places. The biscuit and gravy looked promising. Alas, the biscuit had no flavor, and the gravy was sweet not savory. Gravy should always be savory. That is the whole point of gravy. The biscuit was also overcooked and was rock hard on the bottom. The pile of browns almost saved the day as they appeared to be the only item not over cooked. Sadly, they were under cooked. My son ordered a cinnamon roll and my brother ordered the sweet toast. Both of those were edible. I think the staff can overcome the challenges when it comes to seating, but the food won't recover without a new chef. Quite possibly the most disappointing breakfast ever. read more

Third time we've been here for breakfast and will not recommend or go back. I understand the Covid impact but seriously a one hour wait to receive our order is unacceptable. The waitress excuse was that they had a $400.00 order to go that slowed down the kitchen. But in reality three other tables that came in after us received their order before us. It wasn't until I asked for the third time did they do anything to expedite. You would have thought that they would have at least comped at least partial amount of the bill. Nothing!
