    Vanilla Iced Coffee
    Alex A.

Doughnut Inn had amazing prices, $7 for both a medium iced coffee (with vanilla) and sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. The coffee was a bit watery, and barely filled with ice, but was fairly priced for the price. The sausage egg and cheese was also decent, but nothing impressive. However, the items were respectable based on the price.

Make this part of your morning routine! The rotating specials for coffee flavors are great! Some of these specials and seasonal flavors are banana hazelnut, snowball, caramel nut biscotti, pistachio, and peanut butter chocolate. The differentiating factor is that the flavor doesn't come from added syrup. It's actually roasted into the coffee! If you come for the pastries then you need to get the cinnamon swirl. It is light and flakey and will inevitably cover your entire car if you try to eat it on the way home. Everyone inside is super friendly and they use Square so you can easily use tap to pay (they still take cash). Not many people think to get iced tea at a coffee and donut shop, but the unsweetened ice tea is a great option too. This isn't your Starbucks pricing either!

Found on a list of "best doughnuts in CT" list. Should have read Yelp before. Very average donuts - very uneventful.

Great coffee, but closes early. If you close at 4, stay open til 4. Don't close early, and not take anymore orders. Rude.

I agree that the doughnuts are okay, but the bagels are great! Their Cinfully-Nutty, cinnamon-hazelnut coffee is one of my favorites!

The shop is cute. Lots of violet. I arrived around 2:15 on a Saturday. It seemed like only one person was working and she was working on an order in the back when I arrived. It took a few minutes for her to finish. I had pre-ordered, and my box was ready when I arrived. I understand that they sell out of their donuts in the morning. So you will definitely want to plan accordingly. Of the places I've seen doing Bombolinis, Magical Fantasia is one of the more elaborate and has the biggest selection. The flavors we ordered included Banana Pudding, Pistachio and Boston Cream. The donuts themselves are very light and have a bit of sugar. They're basically all the same and serve as a canvas for other things. I tried the Boston Cream and the Banana Pudding. Both had swirls of icing on top. And the flavored creams extended well under the apparent surface of the donut. The banana pudding, Boston Cream and Chocolate icing were all delicious. Magical Fantasia is a place to check out if you're in the Bridgeport area. 4.5 Stars

If you're on the hunt for a traditional French bakery with authentic French and European pastries, desserts, and breads, you will happily walk out of here with a bag of wonderful goodies. When you walk in, you'll come across a tempting display case piled high with their baked goods. I saw platters of croissants of every description! Plain, Chocolate, Choc/Raspberry, Almond, Almond/Choc, Croissant Donuts and Croissant donut holes. But wait there's more! Brioches, chocolate Plies, Pinwheels, fruit turnovers, Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee Cakes, Danishes, Beignets, Scones, Fruit Tarts, Palmiers. The list goes on and on and I haven't even gotten to their cookies, macarons, baguettes, rolls, challah, cakes, quiches, and sandwiches. Seriously, you can have three meals a day here for a month and never duplicate anything. When I walked in, the dining room was pretty busy with customers enjoying a late lunch. The ordering line for baked goods was around five deep, which gave me plenty of time to check out the goods. I ended up with a nice assortment of a chocolate croissant, a chocolate Plie, a fruit turnover, donuts, and a fruit pie. We had some of the goodies last night and a bit more for breakfast today. The chocolate plié was amazing, and honestly, everything we've tried so far has been great. Easy FIVE STARS, n'est-ce pas?
