    Sprouts Hash

I came here for Saturday brunch. We arrived about a half hour after opening and we were the only ones there. Rather than a restaurant, this place is more of a lounge and bar with a shuffle board table in the back. It has a few tables throughout, but they are quite low and not really set up for eating so it's a bit awkward for brunch. They have a QR code menu. You order at the bar and can sit anywhere. They bring your food to your table. I ordered the sprouts hash. They were out of some of the ingredients so I literally got just a bowl of brussel sprouts with an egg on top. I let the waiter know and they were super apologetic and said they didn't get a chance to update the menu with the changes to the dish. They gave me a free drink to make up for it, which I appreciated. I got the lychee martini. It was sweet and juicy. My sister got a side of breakfast potatoes (which they also comped for us because of the mistake with my entree) and grits and gravy. She said they were tasty, but the portion sizes were a bit small. They were definitely having an off day because while we were seated, one of their beer taps leaked on the floor. Despite the mishaps, their customer service was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. I'd probably still check them out at night for the bar scene, which I think may be more of their wheelhouse.

I really like this place. Went for brunch, and it wasn't so busy. The coffee and the food were delicious. The service was really nice as well It looks like it would be a lit place in the evening. Can't wait to try.

Came in grumpy, left very, very happy. Food was delicious, drinks were generous and super cold, and the staff was friendly as hell. Super chill

This was such a lovely bar to sit at and work on my laptop. I showed up around 7pm on a Thursday and there were a few empty seats left at the counter. The bartender was super friendly and seemed to know most people who walked in. The bar is dog friendly and I believe they host comedy shows in the back on certain days. The drink I got (which I can't remember the name) was refreshing, while the fried shrimp dish was extremely tasty! This seems like a very non-judgement establishment and I felt very comfortable sitting alone at the bar. I was also easily able to find parking nearby.

My friends and I stopped by to grab a late brunch and enjoyed it. It's very laidback but was the perfect place to grab a drink and a bite. The service was friendly and attentive which I appreciated. Definitely a great spot for a casual meal and drink.

Not sure how this place doesn't have reviews yet. Wow wow WOW what a cute hidden gem. You walk in and instantly feel good. It's warm, bright, a natural and clean feeling. I love the decor! The bar is so beautiful but don't forget to walk all the way in the back! Super cozy. Our server was awesome, super friendly. We ordered the purple rain cocktail and the bartender brought simple syrup on the side because I guess people want it sweeter?? Not sure who those people are but the drink was perfectly balanced and delicious! Our food was even so good, we devoured it. Such a great spot and we were very pleased!

The bar is a bit on the smaller side in terms of seating, but it has a TON of personality. I loved the eclectic decorations and knickknacks around the seating areas and the bar. The bartender had the TV tuned in to Jeopardy, so my inner (or extremely obvious?) nerd was beaming. In terms of the drinks themselves, I tried the cocoa orange whiskey (?) infusion on the rocks, and my BF had the chipotle paloma. We would both say they were solid, definitely not at "craft cocktail" level, but decent. This bar has a fun + dive-y feel - the kind of place where you get a beer, a plate of chicken nuggets, and watch trash tv with your neighborhood crew (I think they actually do have people who have a weekly Bachelorette viewing during the week). Definitely worth checking out if you're already in the area and looking for ~vibes.~

I've had a number of drinks here and it's been a great meeting spot for late night occasions, especially ones that revolve around a good drink. No doubt it's one of the more underrated nightlife venues in the borough. The setup feels like something out of a Brooklyn type bar - pseudo hipster vibe, casual environment with the whole board games and stacks of books all within a space that is well divided to give a different feel in each corner of the small'ish interior. Like a living room extension but with adult company. Of course, the bar is the most prominent thing in the room and it's a great place to chill as a solo patron. Groups can congregate in the lounge-y areas but the feel is remarkably different depending on where one choses to hang. On a beverage front, there is no shortage of quality drinks to be had. The cocktails are well made and not expensive; the bartenders do a good job of making sure each drink carries a certain kind of potency before leaving the bar. The happy hours are lovely as well, combined with a good deals ($5 shot + beer special, $5 cocktails, etc.) and even better hours (2-8pm!). Lastly, I appreciate a good name. Bad Old Days can be interpreted in many facets, but I think this establishment prides itself on good company and somehow rewards us with simple, good drinks. Bring a friend or three, enjoy the random movies that get projected onto the wall, and enjoy a late night capper in a quiet part of an emerging part of Queens.

We were immediately greeted by our lovely hostess who immediately seated us and advised us that we could get in a happy hour drink since it was going to be over in 10minutes. The pineapple margarita had me nice! For starters, we decided to have all three...the chamoy watermelons n cubes were my fave a hint of sweet n tangy burst my tastebuds. The chips were fresh and crispy, guac was perfect and so was the fried oaxacan cheese. Dinner we split the gulf prawns that were drenched in a rich and delicious pineapple habanero butter sauce. I kind of regretted we shared the plate. It was so darn good!! My niece ordered the chicken milanesa which was a dep fried cutlet. The sauce that it was served with made it taste better as I found the cutlet could have been seasoned way more. To end the night, we ordered churros for dessert! Those warm bad boys melted in your mouth! The diced peaches that accompanied it were like icing on the cake. All of the servers were pleasant throughout our meal. They ensured we were okay, they cleaned our table after each meal and always had a smile on their faces! I definitely will be back!

Like come on -soft shell crab taco/quesadilla was sitting in a pool of liquid, it was soggy af -rest of the food was honestly just OK/good. Not mind blowing -churro dessert was not cooked well. I think it was fried in oil that was too hot. The outside was very fried and crisp, borderline tough. Inside literally raw. -quality to price just did not seem worth it. It was $120 per person I do not recommend for dinner
